Excellent double burger, fizzy soft drinks, and good shoestring fries. Next time, we’ll try the custard and onion rings. The store has only been open for 3 days, so is very busy, but the employees are handling it extremely well.

It's been several years since I last tried Freddy's, and I remember being thoroughly unimpressed with the one up in Birmingham. So when Foley got a branch of this Midwest-based chain, I was in no hurry to give it a shot. After all, we already have Culver's and they do good burgers and great custard. So, how does Freddy's compare to their closest competition? I tried the jalapeño pepper jack double with cheese curds and to my surprise it was really good. The thin smashed patties were nicely charred along the edges, and the jalapeño slices packed a little heat. It contrasted nicely with the creamy fry sauce they put on the burger. The cheese curds were far and away superior to the over breaded ones at Culver's. For dessert I got what I always get at Culver's, an Oreo concrete with marshmallow cream. This was a huge disappointment. The consistency was watery and thin, more like a bad shake than a thick concrete. There was basically no vanilla flavor to the custard. I did steal a bite of plain custard from my dining partner's sundae and it was better but still a far cry from the competition. Service was good, especially by fast food standards, but again second to Culver's. The sweet tea was extremely mediocre. The bucket of ketchup packets was completely covered in slimy, sticky goo, which was gross. Overall, I'd rate the burgers as better than many other fast food competitors, but not in my top tier with more expensive sit down restaurants like Fish River Grill or Cosmo's. The custard was pretty much forgettable, maybe one notch above Rita's and far below Culver's.

I absolutely love the Freddy's in Spanish Fort!!! I eat there all the time, so I can't wait for this one to open its doors to the public!!!! The service is always awesome, with friendly and attentive staff who are eager to make sure my dining experience is top-notch. The speed at which my order was prepared and served was impressive, making it a perfect spot for a quick, satisfying meal. I can't wait for Freddys in Foley to officially open to the public so that more people can experience the fantastic food and friendly service that makes it a standout fast food destination. It's sure to become a go-to spot for foodies and anyone looking for an awesome dining experience.

Well, that was a disappointment. But let there be no mistake, the "Freddy's Original Double" burgers were great. But the fries and onion rings were meh at best. And only 6 1/2 onion rings in a large order. That, combined with a 25 minute wait in the drive through (No exaggeration), it may be a while before we crave Freddy's again.

I love love love Freddy’s!!! I eat at the Spanish fort location all the time, and I absolutely love the girls there!! The atmosphere and energy is great! The food is always cooked to perfection. You can not find a better burger anywhere else!! The custard is great. I’m very excited to visit the foley location. I hear it’s ran by the same people. I know they will be grilling, scooping, and rocking in there!!!

I'm so excited for the Foley location to open! I have been to the Spanish Fort location on multiple occasions, and I never leave disappointed...Those girls pay attention to every detail! The store is immaculately clean. It is very refreshing to eat somewhere where the employees genuinely care to make your experience there a good one. I will be coming to Foletly location first opportunity I get!

First time at Freddy's and it was pretty good , cheese curds and chicken strips ... Also had the brownie shake .. good overall

Burgers are great, if you can ever get the right order. 4 times there 1 time right. Check your order. You may order 2 and get one. You may order with everything and get cheese & a pickle. Drove back to Foley from Summerdale because $18.74 is too much for 1 screwed up burger & wrong drink. They made 2 more burgers, left off the cheese & husband had to go back in for the tea, we dont drink soft drinks. We'just put cheese on when we get home. Cheese was for just 1. Who can eat after all that! Cashier was nice but should have checked the order
