Have recently rediscovered Folkestone after moving from Kent many years back, i must say that i have fallen in love witn the place again. It really has a great feeling and a wonderful vibe and you can see it will become a wonderful arty place to live and visit, the locals are friendly and colourful and proud of the place they live. My children love coming here as Brighton for them had been the preferred place. But not anymore. Great pubs restaurants cafés quirky shops and bars along with the locals is great. The harbour hosts plenty of street food stalls and bars (more so in the summer months) looking forward to the Christmas market this year! Highly recommended!

Wow, the area has had a great revamp and is just lovely. The Harbour Market area is a great space, with a large covered and uncovered seating area. The street food stalls are brilliant, everything from Thai, Greek, fish n chips, BBQ, cocktails, beers and ciders. Outdoor screens for films etc. The market stalls have a wide selection of items, crafts etc. The beech has some nice restaurants and bars crazy golf and the boardwalk is perfect for wheelchair, buggy and strolling along the pebbled beech. The wet fish shops are great too.

Absolute hidden treasure. Something for everyone. Beach sands on one side. Pebble on the other. There is a HUGE outdoor screen for sports and movies. Bags of character everywhere.

Quite a nice little area full of life. From the restored old train station converted into the center of the action to the large number of food tracks, coffee shops and events there. It is perfect for a family visit. Walking around the harbour is beautiful. The car park is great although a bit expensive and has plenty of space.

Lots of unique places to eat & drink. We had champagne in the Lighthouse bar & had food at the Pork & Co eatery watching tennis undercover on the big screen. Lovely place to visit & fully lived up to expectations . Must be amazing watching the sun go down on a summers evening with a cheeky drink in hand & putting the world to rights. Give it a go. Car parking available but don't know the prices as we went by train.

Nice place to chill, there are many different and varied types of food and drinks available with plenty of seating and a big screen TV. Also arts and craft stalls to look around too, all adding up to a pleasant day out.

Very pleased we parked up nearby and grabbed haddock and chips from Sandy's. Plenty going on as the tide came in, which was very fast. From the start of water coming in to the house in the middle floating was only 20 minutes!
