A nice place to visit with the kids. We would go again. The beach is all pebbles but not overly crowded and we were able to have a picnic without getting harassed by seagulls. The toilets were clean but there was no soap in the ladies and there are signs advising everyone to clean their hands frequently but no sanitiser anywhere so definitely take your own. My eldest loved the huge climbing apparatus and my two younger enjoyed the sand play areas. Only negative is it's hard to watch all kids at once due to the layout. I had to hope for the best with my eldest. And the enclosed toddler area was strange as they needed help to climb up onto /get down from platforms as too high. But these were relatively minor issues on the whole. There's a lovely cafe near the play area but it's quite pricey. The formal garden walk beyond the play area was nice but nothing special. We went for the kids and the kids really enjoyed it.

Wonderful coastline, with separate places for rest, very beautiful views, which charge with positive emotion and tranquility. A great place to enjoy the beauty of Folkestone. I recommend!

This is great outdoor playground for the kids. There are 3 sections with different things in each, with 1 main area that has slides, wobble bridges and zip lines. Found along the coast line, it's a lovely walk with great views. My kids had an amazing time and didn't want to leave.

What a great place to take the kids out. We were on a short holiday to Dover and found this gem whilst searching online. Has everything from the sea, beach, fantastic huts and architecture and a fabulous play area with lots of activities for all ages.

One of the best coastal parks I've been to, from the moment you enter it's beautiful the trees, the magnificently maintained flower beds the children's play area at the centre which I have to say I've never seen one quite like it no child would be disappointed I assure you whether they want to climb about play in sand or zip along a wire it has it all. Make yourselves a picnic and go take a look

Lovely location, nice walks between the beautiful zig zag steps where there are plenty little spots to have a picnic and the beach itself is clean, well maintained and lovely to be at. (Bring shoes that can get wet! As you don't want to walk barefoot on the stones)

A real hidden gem in Folkstone. Not to busy and my daughter loved the climbing and slides. We also walked down the prom and she took her scooter on the skate park.

Awesome place to take children that can play unassisted. There is one main play area, with slides and a couple of smaller ones next to it, including a pirate ship and a spider web. You have to walk to it. You can park in the lower lees carpark (starts at £3 an hour!!!) And walk to the play park (wheelchair and pushchair friendly walk if you park here). Alternatively you can park near the promenade and walk up to the play park. You can push a pushchair, if you have the strength!!!

Once in the park area, out of the wind, the weather was pleasant! The wooden play area is looking a bit sorry for itself, tunnels and rope bridges cornered off, hopefully due to safety! Otherwise a great place to take the kids. New pirate ship added, which is great. We walked up the Zig Zag path to see the views of the Amphitheatre as well as Mermaids tail, out to the sea. Very nice view.

Folkestone Coastal Park is a true gem! The breathtaking coastal views, tranquil atmosphere, and well-maintained paths make it the perfect place for a relaxing escape. The combination of greenery and sea is truly rejuvenating. Whether you're taking a leisurely stroll or enjoying a picnic with loved ones, this park offers something for everyone. The facilities are clean, and the kids play area is just icing on the cake. I can't recommend Folkestone Coastal Park enough – it's a must-visit for anyone seeking natural beauty and serenity.

We didn’t expect to see such a great views in the end of October. When I shared that pictures with friends they don’t believe it’s England:))

Kids absolutely love this place. Even after walking down the steepest road and climbing back up they always have the best adventure!

This park is a heavenly place for adults and children as well. Just next to the Folkstone beach it adds alot to its charm and beautiful scenery. Benches are there for adults to sit and relax. Adventurous and amazing swings here are highly loved by children. Visit once atleast then you will never stop going there. An oce creams and drinks’ shop is at the entrance of this park. The zigzag path that leads to this park from the top of the hill is unforgettable. Highly recommend. This is the my favourite park so far since I have explored Kent.

Used to be amazing, lovely setting and location. Parking is extortionate. Slowly but surely the play park is starting to tire and rot and sections are being removed, panelled off and seemingly aren't being fixed or replaced. There's a cool pirate ship which is reasonably new but the toddlers raised sand pit area has gone altogether which is a shame. There's a new toilet block though, I guess in case you don't want to walk to the other one 300 yards away.

Parking is incredibly expensive. I thought I'd take my kids down for the afternoon but parking for four hours was more than £13! The park itself is a fantastic place for kids, with so much on offer. Unfortunately the sand is now filthy and after playing in it for an hour, my children's hands were black and smelled awful. Great for a day out if you can afford it but not best if you live close by and would like to use it regularly.

An Great place for children to play and explore ,not to mention about the view ,not far from the park there is the sea with clear blue water. Since I discovered lower leas coastal park is my favourite place to go on warm days.

Lovely walk through the gardens, can take dogs too and can drop down onto the beach. Play area and sand pit for kids. Toilets and a great cafe too. Can get very busy at weekends during the summer months. But great walk.

well worth a visit, wheelchair friendly, toilets and ice cream parlour. Squirrels eat from your hand. Interesting wooden seating and a wonderful wooden ship. Great children’s adventure park and lots of seating / picnic areas for the family.

Had a wonderful walk in this park, that runs parallel to the sea front. Parked easily in the car park and ambled past some lovely flower beds - plenty of seating choices - and children's play area to the toilets at the other end. Sign said ice-cream 🍦, but I didn't have any room to investigate, sorry!

First time visiting the coastal park. We loved it and would definitely be back. Toilets and parking as well as cafe. Play equipment and the beach. Perfect day out.

Beautiful area and hikes around the coast. Quite warm on the day, so plenty of water was needed. Quite enjoyed our time. Really cute seating areas around the paths.

By far the best kids play area we have been to! Parking was a bit expensive but I'm sure we could have found something else if we new the area better. Kids loved it and the beach was a 2 minute walk away. We only had an hour here as it was a stop off before the drive home, so it would have been a really good day out with family and friends. We have already planned a visit back for later on in the year to explore the rest of the area 😀 👍
