The color and history of Turkey, recreated beautiful panels, paintings and wood carvings in the wonderful Turkish restaurant Asrendos in Folkestone, a delightful atmosphere that creates coziness. The restaurant is located in a central location in the city, at the same time it is very quiet. The Turks are known for their hospitality, kindness, professional service, excellent cuisine and memorable taste of all their national dishes, and the team of professionals who serve their clients in Aspendos fully fit into this national characteristic. Fast and excellent service, normal prices, excellent hygiene in the hall of the restaurant and compliance with strict cleaning measures in the toilets of the restaurant. A great way to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner with friends in this unique restaurant. I recommend!

This place is a little gem. Went here for the lunch menu which is super value for money. The food is great, lovely and tasty. The portion sizes are big and I promise you won't leave here hungry. The atmosphere is nice too with good decor. All staff were very friendly, attentive and efficient. I couldn't fault it and will definitely go here again.

I've been here quite a few times now and can not fault the food or service. The interior is stunning, especially being by the beach. The staff are always so attentive, welcoming and friendly at all the times I've been there. I love the complimentary appetisers that they give whilst we wait for the food. The bread is so soft and delicious! The portion sizes that they give are very generous. For the price, it is worth every penny! This is definitely a favourite restaurant in Folkestone 🤤🤤

Best food and customer service in Folkestone!!! After driving 4.5 hours to Folkestone and scrambling to find a place that would serve me, I was lucky to get a seat here!! The team here were very friendly and accommodating, the restaurant manager even gave me some complimentary olives and bread because he knew I was hungry. The food was amazing, I couldn’t finish it all as it was a big portion so saved the rest for lunch the next time. Thank you so much!!! I will definitely be returning

Great Turkish restaurant in Folkestone. 8 of us went on a Thursday night for a celebration, nothing was any trouble for the staff and they were very attentive. The food was very tasty and cooked to perfection, the portions were very generous.

Great service. Great food and some lovely views if you sit outside. The staff are very attentive and friendly. We choose this venue for family celebrations. Easy to get too as very close too Folkestone bus station. Very close to the leas and harbour for a nice walk and views. The food is absolutely lovely , very generous portions too.

Food was amazing. Service was good, but the atmosphere. The night we came there were about 20 people on a table shouting and talking so loud saying cheers, etc. If you want privacy and a quiet time, just make sure nobody loud will come. The service went from 5 stars to 4 as the workers didn't really do anything about it. But anyway, when it is nice and peaceful, the food is amazing. I've gone here lots of times and the food, it's just too good. Would highly recommend.

Excellent food and excellent service. We have always loved Aspendos, for the price, you get a very good portion, excellent, mouth watering and high quality food. I've been here many times and every time the experience has been amazing. We have already booked to have dinner again.

Some great Turkish food! We came down for few days from London and came to eat here with family. Service was top class and waiter/waitress were very attentive. Food was very good! The only critic I would have is for the liver starter- I think it was overcooked but other than that, lovely!

Without reservation they accepted us (we are a family of 11) on a Saturday. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Service was quick and professional, all the dishes we ordered was amazing and tasty, huge portions, reasonable prices. During our lunch they checked many times if everything was right. As Folkestone became a special place for us, definitely will return regularly- no question where we will go to have a lunch 😉 Thank you for your lovely service!

Visited on holiday the day before storm Eunice hit. Was a party going on downstairs which was quite loud but it just added to the lively fun atmosphere in my opinion. Food was good. V big portions so we probably over ordered really. Friendly staff

Their aubergine kebab was absolutely delicious and perfect. My wife loved it. Chicken shish was very big portion and very well presented. Their treat of baklava was very fresh with very light texture. The restaurant is very well decorated with the cooking area visible behind a screen. Most serving staff were wearing traditional clothing that adds to the warm ambience. Prices are relatively low and the service is perfect. We were particularly pleased with the manager that looks like he is from the Far East. He is very good at his job. We enjoyed our evening here so much that we came back next morning for breakfast. They do very nice Turkish breakfast. See photos.

Very clean. Staff were nice upto a point. I didn't expect to have to sit outside with a young child and disabled person in the cold to eat with the smokers! Especially when there were available tables inside the entire time we were there. This has put me off going back to the restaurant but the food is AMAZING so I would order for delivery instead. The outside area should be kept clean and tidy like the inside.

Just been here today. Absolutely phenomenal staff. The most courteous and hospitable staff I have ever come across. Really made me very welcome and looked after. The young lady today in gold waistcoat and the gentleman with a beard with a mask on at the front door. Well done to you both. Lovely food too! So where do I start ….. firstly the staff are one of the most friendliest I have encountered. We ordered off the lunch menu and two courses for £11.95 was almost to good to be true….. and I have to admit it was amazing, great food and great value. We had the filo cheese and cucumber dip for starters followed by chicken shish and lamb shish, both courses tasted amazing and where way more than what we could both eat … I will warn everyone that the chilli sauce was if not the hottest one of the hottest I have ever tried….. be carful with your first mouthful! We finished up with rice pudding and a Turkish coffee, both amazing. We will definitely be coming back again. 100% five start review

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. The food is jam packed with flavour and the service is great. The food is always delicious and the portion sizes are more than generous. When ordering the kebabs they always come very quickly and always piping hot.Whenever my family visit, we get the sharing platters, and we find that the sharing meal for two to three people is more than enough for four people, we still leave a little (you can always ask for a take-away box and take it home). The staff are always easy to get a hold of. Definitely one of or if not the best restaurant in the area.
