My daughter and her family just moved into the area. We were looking for a park to take our 10 month grand daughter to. She had so much fun.

This Park was probably at one time very nice however currently its kinda dumpy. There are areas boarded up, broken equipment, and does not look like any of the pictures posted. It's also not very toddler friendly, lots of open spaces for them to fall off of, and areas where they can not climb up due to access being a pole or ropes, ect.

My kids used to love this park, but we went in February 2022, and my kids didn't want to play. My daughter's told me that the inside of the structure was really dirty and gross, and that they didn't want to be in/on it. The rope section is also off limits, and that made my kiddos super sad, as it was their favorite section of the playground. The last time we were at this park was in 2019, and it was much nicer then. There were a LOT of families there when we went, it is quite a popular park, so many people definitely do like the park still!

Fun playground that even has a tire swing. There’s section for tots with bucket swings :)

This has been our neighborhood park for years-I even helped build the play structures. I see children of all ages play there all the time! I wish, though, that the structures were better maintained. We used to regularly stain & oil the wooden structures. Perhaps we should reorganize and do this, again. There are two different sections of play areas. There is one area for tots & another area for older children as well as a covered, multi- table eating area. The trees in the park are mature and provide quite a bit of shade.

This is such a cool park. Only gave it 4 stars because it needs updating. They have patched up parts of the castle but it could use a real glow up.

Excellent place for little kids to play. Ideal for kids at age 5 or lower. People who come there are also very nice to talk to. My daughter enjoys the park and it’s slides and swings.

Really creativily done. Park is clean and if you walk across you have a huge open area with a gigantic tree.

This Park used to be amazing but now the city of Folsom is not taking care of it. Many things are broken and not working. They replaced the amazing rubber tire swing with a smaller hard plastic one that my kids don't like as much. Last time we went here my kids wanted to leave after 10 minutes and had more fun on the trails across the street. Hopefully, they fix it soon. Other city's have much better parks and I hate that I have to drive outside of where I live to go to a park my kids like to play.

Great, except no bathroom. The bathrooms at the next park down were locked/closed already, and it wasn't even dark.

Such a great park for kids all ages! There are 3 castle parks here... Small Sand based park, made for younger kids, a medium park made for older toddler kids, ( with baby swings) and a larger one for older kids. ( One with regular swings, and a tire swing) Only reason for the 4 stars is bc there are a few ply wood boards in the larger park that looks like some type of blockage from something that might be broken. Otherwise, great park to visit!

This has a huge playground and a separate area for toddlers/babies. My two boys (ages 4 & 2) had a blast. There are plenty of picnic tables available and the trail was very close. I highly recommend.

One of my kids favorites with novelty appeal; has a fun tire swing, a sand pit for littles that like to dig with separated toddler play structure, plenty of shaded picnic tables, and great for playing "hot lava" (aka 'tag'). The drawbacks would be no bathrooms, poor parking options, and lacking on cool slides.

My kids have so much fun at this park. Lots of climbing, small and area, big kids swings, baby swings, tire swing, lots of climbable trees. Only downside is no bathrooms!! There are restrooms down the street outside the elementary school at the baseball diamonds which is only a 3-5 minute walk away but with multiple children in our family, it's too inconvenient to have to get everyone to stop playing so we can all walk down to the bathroom. It's too far to send a child by themselves or go with a child and leave the other kids unsupervised at the playground.

the play structure has been in need of repair for over a year now. generally lovely place for the kids with a mix of shade etc.. lack of toilets on site is something to be prepared for, you can head over to the school a short walk but make sure your kiddos are prepared

Awesome play structures, lots of trees for shade.......but no bathrooms?? Very surprised that this well maintained park in a nice neighborhood doesn't offer even one public bathroom.

This place was amazing 10 years ago sadly on my most recent visit it was extremely run down the wood is starting to dry rot in places and several of the fun climbing areas are closed off due to broken pieces. I really hope whoever is in charge of this once wonderful park gives it the renovation it deserves soon!

Did a birthday party here on a weekday. Used the grill. Little to no people. Calm and quiet place. Weekends are always packed with kids. My kids love this park. We come here 1-2 times a month even tho we live 30 minutes away.

Its a cool wooden park. My 4yr old had fun but there are no restrooms and no lights so when the sun goes down it it super dark. Something about it...other parks just seem more fun.

The only reason I give this park a 4 is that there are Portapotties instead of restrooms! My son loves "Castle Park". We just had his birthday there. Great covered area for sitting in the shade. A large play area for differing ages, which is nice for families too.

I love this place. It sparks the creative Ming, and you are free to explore and climb on the many patters and other features. The slides are great too. One of my favorite parks. 9/10.

I think this is a beautiful and lovely location but questionably structurally safe in some areas of the playground. As seen in many pictures posted, this playground is a wood structure which is has a castle like feel. However, there has to be regular scheduled maintenance. Part of the higher towers in the big kid playground are unsafe, the pole to slide down is wobbly. Screws are backing out of studs, etc. It is located in a beautiful scenic area and nice neighborhood. I am from south sac and it was a pleasant place to be in. Additionally there is no bathroom? I could have missed it but my fiancés cousins (1.5 yrs and 4yrs) were having a bathroom emergency and we could not find one. We loaded up and went to the nearest store then came back. It was an enjoyable time with a lot to do for the kids and adults, it would just be nice to get the unsafe areas removed or fixed. Thank you park services for all that you do!

This park is still amazing but is definitely in need of repair. Lots of pieces missing that made this an absolutely amazing playground are now missing or broken. Lots of money in Folsom let’s see some of the money come back revitalizing this park to its greatness. We’ve been coming here for 8 years and is definitely declined. Still clean and lots of fun but won’t be long until it’s not. Missing the big red rope /chain under the dragon and to rope ladders too where there is just a boarded up hole. Still lots of fun but let’s fix this park!
