I
have
never
felt
so
awkward
and
insulted
by
a
bartender
as
I
did
here.
The
man
in
question
(middle
aged
brunette
sporting
a
baseball
cap:
I
caught
your
slurring
and
spittle,
don't
worry)
asked
me
why
I
was
even
there.
I
had
been
sitting
in
my
seat
for
maybe
30
seconds
and
hadn't
decided
on
a
drink
yet,
so
I
requested
a
glass
of
water
while
I
made
my
decision.
He
mumbled
something
incoherent
and
gave
me
the
water,
then
said
I
looked
like
I
wasn't
a
big
drinker
and
didn't
belong
there
(Do
they
only
serve
alcoholics?).
So
I
left,
because
he
was
right.
The
place
was
super
empty,
with
only
a
few
regulars
floating
around
(they
seemed
to
have
assigned
seating).
They
was
an
elderly
man
who
greeted
me
as
I
entered,
telling
me
where
everyone
was
seated
at
the
time,
and
letting
me
know
where
I
could
sit
(What??).
Also:
on
my
way
in,
there
had
been
three
men
out
smoking
who
appeared
to
be
trashed
out
of
their
minds
who
kept
thanking
me
for
my
business
(friendly
enough).
They
cursed
me
for
leaving
as
I
left.
Classy.
Overall:
super
awkward.
Will
NOT
go
again.
Jerky
bartender.
Went
to
The
Press
Box
and
enjoyed
myself.
