I took my family out to eat this evening here at Salty's and we had a lovely time and great dinner. I had the Grouper, it was excellent. Everyone liked what they ordered. Was busy on a Thursday night. We had great service. Interesting atmosphere. There was salt water aquarium near the entrance of the restaurant with a few species of fish including one lionfish. Lots of menu choices. Come to Fond du lac Wisconsin and check out Salty's 😀

We came on a Saturday evening, so there was a wait. Difficult to get to the bar for a drink, but the wait was definitely worth it. Food was really good! Menu has a huge selection.

Steaks were so delicious and tender. Seafood was amazing. Fresh bread and salad was good. French onion soup was very good. Escargot in mushroom caps and plain was so delicious. Update: amazing food and amazing service! Try the tuna steak! Cajun is not spicy but just delicious! Still our favorite date night out in town! Crab cakes are delicious as well. Service is always very friendly and quick.

Excellent service! Julie is, as always, professional, patient, and does it all with a smile :) Angela is just as awesome :) and Nettie is the BEST bartender in all of Wisconsin :D the prices have remained steady, the quality of the food and service has not faltered. We like to go in the late afternoon/early evening to avoid a wait. The Supreme Platter is the best bargain, IMO, bc you get a great variety of seafood for a good price. The signature drink at Salty's is the Hurricane, and the first drink order is always Double Bubble. Salty's is an institution <3

Cozy place with OK food and drink. Decent ribeye steak and fried perch combination dinner. Friendly, patient wait staff provides great service with a smile. Cheesy seafood soup is fair. Will return in the future to sample the menu further.

The food was fantastic all around.and our server was great.the steamed mussels were great, and the oysters Rockefeller 😋 and some pretty cool fish to see. The only thing negative thing was they don't seat you if you whole party is not inside

Best place for seafood in the area! Prices were good, and the serving size is great. Service is good and even when they are busy they make sure to check to see if you have everything. They are normally busy so plan on a 30 min wait if you get there around 5:30pm on the weekends. Not sure about weekdays. The seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection.

If you like seafood, then this is the place for you! Way better than Red Lobster and it’s a local business! Food is phenomenal; love their seafood, salad bar and house bread. They have a fruity adult drink called “The Shipwreck” and it’s so good! Atmosphere is fun and service is friendly! A little pricey but so well worth it!!!!

Good food, though service was slow. There was plenty of waitstaff so I think they may be limited on the amount of cooks in the kitchen. We got the mussels & mozzeralla stick appetizers, I had the seafood pasta dinner & husband got the fish with shrimp dinner. All was good & resonably priced.

We had lunch at Salty's. Other than the old school cheesy decor it was a very nice experience. Our waitress so so nice. The place was very neat & clean. We started with the raw oysters. They were big, meaty and very mild flavor. I personally like more flavor in oysters. The award winning cheese seafood soup was delicious and so creamy. The seafood fettuccine with a wine cream sauce was very good also. We enjoyed ourselves.

BEST seafood in the entire state of Wisconsin! I drive over an hour for their delicious food! I am from Boston, so I know good seafood when I have it. Salty's is amazing!

I had scallop’s, twice baked potato, rice pilaf and salad . Rice pilaf tasted like it was from a box, salad was old as it had brown ends on iceberg lettuce. Scallops were tasty and twice baked potato appeared to come from package not freshly made. My friends salad had core and brown ends through out salad as well as her fried clams “she stated” she could tell were frozen not freshly battered. For the prices you pay, place is always packed why not make fresh?

Waitress was great. Drinks were great. The food was disgusting. Escargot were drowned in garlic butter and the steak… was it even beef? We didn’t eat any of it. Twice-baked potato were frozen and heated up. Disgusting. We will never go back.

I wish I live near by so that I could go there more often. The food was really really delicious. Our waitress was amazing, friendly & very happy when she saw me enjoying the food. Unfortunately, I forgot to take the pictures of all the dishes that I ordered. Because when the food was served, I immediately ate it. I even ordered the full order of scallop appetizer to take home after I ate the one I ordered at the restaurant. Deep in my mind, I also wanted to order my main course, lobster & prime rib, to go too but I didn't want my waitress to think that I am crazy.

Everything I could have hoped for, and more. Service was amazing and the food was awesome. Portion size was huge! Thank goodness for to-go boxes. Might've regretted getting an appetizer if it hadn't been so tasty. Then, the cheese soup seriously lived up to all the great reviews. We could've made a meal out of just the soup! Hubby had a stir fry (special) and I went with classic fried shrimp (they were HUGE, haha). Tonight was a lil splurge on our way to see all the holiday lights at Lakeside Park and Salty's made it so special.

Have eaten here several times and have not been disappointed yet. Plan on spending some bucks, but food is worth it. Staff very friendly and they know everything about the menu. Would recommend.
