My husband was having a mental health crisis and desperately wanted to speak with a psychiatrist. Made an appointment on February 2 and the soonest available appointment was on April 30. Was told to keep calling back because "there are cancellations all the time." Long story short, he did not get a sooner appointment. It took 3 grievances for them to 'address' my complaint. I can "rest assured" knowing they take my "concerns seriously," according to the letter they sent me. I recommend contacting the Department of Managed Health Care if you can't get a timely appointment. Maybe if they get enough complaints Kaiser will start taking mental health seriously.

I would rather not share my medical history with the world, but being told to just “get back on my medication” again after nearly a year of working hard to establish healthy coping mechanisms without depending on medication is really hard to hear. The lack is support I have received from Kaiser Behavioral Health, outside of medication, is disheartening.

Can't get service for my son at Kaiser. The youth behavior health is not up to standards. If you are in need don't even attempt to call. You will be scheduled an appointment for next week.

Kaiser services is not good. Every hospital in the south, just to get a normal appointment takes at least 2 months plus. Even more for speciality appointments such as gynecologist and others. I complain about other countries public health care appointments, being to slow and too long but Kaiser which is private is just as worst. For a private company that has 2 months lag in the their appointment is mind boggling and unacceptable. Not sure if I will renew my membership for next round.

Don't call here to make an apointment and expect help any time soon. The minimum wait for an E-visit is a month minimum. Let alone a face to face. Why do I even pay these people?

These psychiatrists are proof that you can do something for a long time and still be bad at it. You don’t need a medical degree to check things off a checklist, you just need reading literacy.

I like this place a lot & also Canyon Crest location, please keep patients even longer, they are good at taking away thier gun rights. This is the best way to prevent violence. My roommates friend; a mental patient came to my house & would close the door on my face(because he believed it was funny). That was extremely disrespectful for a door to be hitting my nose(at my own house) I reported him to this hospital so they need to take him in for more help. He was always complaining about the government not letting him purchase guns. Well yeah or course he shouldn't be able to purchase guns. Don't know why he would want a gun, he should be locked up in a mental asylum 24/7. I'm not sure if complaining to this hospital could do much but regardless they were extremely helpful over the phone & told me to call the police on him.

Terrible experience in the ER. My 73 yo husband was having chest pressure and hard time breathing. After an hour the triage nurse had him obtain an X-ray, labs, and ekg. I guess they must have been okay because we waited another 3 hours to be seen. Saw the PA for 10 minutes and she said okay to go home. Well we are headed back to another ER since he is much worse after 8 hours. Not a good system. I admit that it’s a ridiculously busy ER lacking staff and rooms.
