The
Forest
Park
Plaza
leaves
much
to
be
desired.
Be
careful
driving
through
the
parking
lot
there
are
potholes
just
about
everywhere.
Although
the
forest
park
plaza
leaves
much
to
be
desired
it
does
serve
a
purpose.
That
purpose
is
that
the
people
who
live
close
by
have
a
place
they
can
go
to
shop,
get
some
pizza
or
buy
some
lottery
tickets.
Family
Dollar,
Little
Cesar's,
Retail
Shop,
Pony
keg,
Bar,
Cell
phone
shop,
Car
repair
shop,
and
I'm
sure
other
stores
are
located
inside
the
Plaza.
Easily
noticeable
from
traffic
(accessible
to
public
transportation),
those
that
witnessed
this
piece
of
property
in
it's
prime
are
taken
aback
by
the
lack
of
care
this
property
has
received.
Quite
frankly,
it's
gone
down.
I've
shared
my
opinion
on
forest
park
in
other
reviews,
so
I
will
limit
my
careful
critiques.
I
do
wish,
that
the
city
officials
of
Forest
Park
would
do
more
to
restore
and
maintain
this
area
of
the
city.
Ways
the
forest
park
officials
could
do
that
is
by
enlisting
volunteers,
establish
a
summer
work
program
for
teens
where
they
help
to
beautify
the
neighborhood,
reach
out
to
investors
who
are
community
and
people
oriented
and
care
about
social
change.
Things
along
those
lines
would
help.
The
demographic
has
changed
entirely
in
this
area.
It
is
truly
a
melting
pot,
people
from
Central
America,
Nepali,
Asia,
various
countries
in
Africa,
Russia
all
share
this
neighborhood,
doing
more
to
build
community
seems
like
a
no
brainer.
This
area,
once
considered
the
business
district
deserves
to
be
vibrant
again.
This
area
deserves
to
have
businesses
that
meet
the
needs
of
the
entire
community,
training
programs,
entertainment,
recreation
etc.
The
biggest
questions
that
is
floating
around
in
the
mind
of
people
who
live
in
Forest
Park
or
frequent
the
area
is,
what
are
the
plans
for
forest
park?
What
is
going
on?
