OMG! This is one of the best restaurants in Forest Park (and the suburbs). I have so many great meals over the years thanks to Chef Paco and his team. This last dinner did not disappoint and was one of the best. Chef Paco is so sweet and sincere besides being an creative genius. The new restaurant is so well designed and comfortable. Easily 5 stars.

"Come in relax, enjoy my restaurant and above all, enjoy my food." What more can you say about Chef Paco and his homemade delicious moles? First bite and you're lost for words... sweet, savory, a hint of spice and then your taste buds start wondering, what is that? pumpkin, chile, watermelon, guava, chocolate who cares, keep eating. The steak fajitas "carne" and chicken "pollo" enchiladas are world class. Simple tastes, well prepped and presented. Sit outside in the courtyard, you won't be disappointed. Gracias chef! Muy delicioso.

Disgusting. I ordered this place and I ordered a good amount of food. Upon receiving the food the FLAN WAS MOLDY. I called and they offered to send more flan. I was not comfortable with eating any of the food. Staff was impolite and insisted the rest of the food was sanitary. Needless to say I threw away the food and it was a huge waste of time and money. Also lost my appetite. Would never go back. Stay away.

I can’t believe this place has decent reviews. I would give it zero stars if I could. I ordered delivery and it was awful. The enchiladas were disgusting, the guacamole was stringy, and to top it all off, they gave me MOLDY FLAN. I don’t understand this at all because you’d think flan would be fresh, and not sitting in a fridge long enough to get moldy. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

My wife and I came to check out the highly touted creative mole sauce inspired dishes by Chef Paco. We were not disappointed as the service was great and the food was even better. We ordered the fiesta mole plate that comes with 6 chicken & cheese enchiladas with very eloquent flavors of mole sauces. The sauces were all delicious and we had a couple of favorites that we really liked. This place is a nice change from what we’ve come to expect from a traditional Mexican restaurant. We also had the Jamaica margarita which was very tasty as well. Sitting on the patio while enjoying a nice meal in a beautiful neighborhood was a real treat.

everything about this place was phenomenal. i will def be back. the mole plate with several different moles could easily be shared two people and i have never seen such a great idea — i usually can’t choose which mole to get, and now don’t have to! every single one was so good. and my mom really can’t handle spicy food at all, and the chef made her dish totally mild which was very sweet. the fajitas were also so smokey and perfect.

I am grateful for this restaurant! The food is excellent. The owner/chef/staff are friendly, gracious and they are all having a good time. I've never felt rushed (in fact quite the opposite). At NRebozo they are supremely interested in your enjoyment!

(Translated by Google) This place is wonderful, the chef and owner has a divine personality and apart from being a great host, the food ... absolutely delicious the chile en nogada is as if it were in Puebla's original recipe. We have been living in Chicago for 4 years and looking for delicious food with original flavors, the churros have the flavors of Coyoacán from Mexico City. It really is a delight to go to this place 100% recommended, although I stay far away I have taken it as one of my favorites 💯💯👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 (Original) Este lugar es maravilloso, el chef y dueño tiene una personalidad divina y aparte de que es un gran anfitrión, la comida ... absolutamente deliciosa el chile en nogada es como si estuviera en Puebla receta original. Chef Paco is really proud of his place and food, and for good reason. They do their best for COVID-19 risk mitigations by limiting the number of tables they serve inside, and people were still lining up outside the door on a Wednesday evening because that's how much they want to eat here. Everything is made super fresh, the flavors are heavy and plentiful, there is a lot of spice, which I personally really love. The menu is clear on what to expect, particularly in regards to allergies. Unfortunately I couldn't try any of the mole because all of them are made with nuts, I'll have to come back when I am not seated with someone that has a serious nut allergy. There are many gluten free options as well. The margaritas were killer! Our meal overall was very enjoyable. A little pricey but it is definitely worth it.

This is a great place! I loved the food and the staff was amazing! They really make you feel like they are welcoming you to their dinner table: checking up on you, explaining their dishes, and are very attentive. I would absolutely recommend this place and will definitely be back ^_^

We tried several dishes and they were all delicious!! Everyone in the restarán was very attentive, including the chef whom you can tell is very passionate and proud about the food he prepares. Even my fiancé who doesn't like mole (their specialty) said it was very good. Our group had the tortilla soup, huitlacoche empanadas, fish tacos, enchiladas indígenas and camarones mixtecos, the 3 flanes and 3 Leches pastel.

NRebozo has been my favorite Mexican restaurant for ages, and the first place I recommend to anyone visiting Chicagoland. Chef Paco is a local legend, both in his animated and fun personality, as well as his amazing skills as a chef. Definitely try the fiesta mole enchiladas, as Chef Paco changes the mole sauces regularly and they are always unique and delicious.

I am sharing this mostly for the lack of professionalism for MY EXPERIENCE. I had high hopes to go try this place, I made a reservation online and got a confirmation. Then, I drove 1 hour to get there only to find out they were closed, and no one picked up calls. (This was a Friday evening, so I'm not sure what had happened) Anyway, my problem was that in 2023, with all technology, if they were not open, they could use platforms to update potential patrons ASAP. (And stop reservations from being confirmed). I hope to try their chiles en nogada and other dishes someday when I travel back to Chicago.

Chef Paco=A PHENOM! The kitchen truly comes alive under the masterful guidance of the warm and gracious Chef Paco, whose culinary talents are as impressive as his welcoming smile and wit! With every dish, a touch of passion and an abundance of skill combine to craft an unforgettable dining experience. Diners are transported to a world where culinary artistry intertwines with impeccable service! This is more than a meal; it's a symphony of flavors, a ballet of service, and an immersion into the extraordinary. Well done, cannot wait to return!

This place is one of those rare gems where you can take a chance and order anything on the menu and it is guaranteed to be good. Chef Paco always welcomes you like family. My wife had been craving a Chile en Nogada for a while so we went. As was to be expected it was very good. For appetizers we went with Chef Paco's recommendations and ordered the stuffed jalapeño pepper and the vegetarian Jamaica sope. I couldn't resist ordering his famous mole enchiladas ❤️. We ordered some drinks. My wife had a Tamarind Margarita and I had a Tamarind Michelada. Truly one of the best Micheladas I've ever had. After dinner my wife ordered a Carajillo because she had also never tried one before and she enjoyed it. We did not have a dessert because we were simply stuffed but I was curious about the Chocolate Jalapeño ice cream so I ordered it to go. Needless to say, it was also very delicious 😋. I can't recommend NRebozo enough. Try it for yourself.

Our recent visit to NRebozo left us impressed. The male and female bartenders are true artisans. What sets them apart is their willingness to customize drinks to your taste preferences, ensuring a personalized and delightful experience. Whether you're a fan of something sweet, sour, or adventurous, they are more than willing to concoct a delicious cocktail that perfectly suits your palate. Their attention to detail and dedication to creating unique beverages is awesome. Their friendly personalities add an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening. The food at NRebozo is also tasty. The chef's kindness and warmth shine through both the cuisine and interactions with guests. You can tell he truly cares for his customers. The bartenders' talent and the chef's personal touch make NRebozo a must-visit. It's a place where exceptional drinks meet delicious food, and where the staff's personalities enhance every aspect of the experience. We're looking forward to our next visit.

Delicious and authentic Mexican cuisine featuring remarkable varieties of mole sauce, paired with an impressive and imaginative cocktail menu. I recommend the fruit margarita made with tamarind juice. It is very good.

During our recent dinner at NRebozo, I had their special seafood enchiladas with a white chocolate mole sauce and coffee flan for dessert. It was truly one of the best meals I've had in ages, which is saying a lot since I tend to eat very well! So delicious... like mouth-watering, toe-curling, plate-licking delicious. Incredible. The service was also wonderful (the owner is always so charming!), and the atmosphere was pleasant - intimate, but not claustrophobic, and with tasteful décor. I'd highly recommend this for casual dining, a date night, or a small group dinner.

Not enough positive things to say about this place. Really a gem. The food was great and very creative. The Chef, Paco, is very friendly and you can tell he loves what he does. I am not normally a fan of mole, however with 6 different kinds to choose from, I had ones that I loved. Also, great options for vegetarians. The cocktails were great too, we had the Queen’s and pomegranate margaritas. The staff was kind, and very attentive as well.

New Rebozo is an awesome place to dine. The food is always, always a pure delight. Very Covid conscious. Safety is top of mind. For over 30 years Chef Paco has created dishes for the eye and the palette. He presents his meals with passion that you can taste. You will never leave without saying "Oh my God".

I am blown away at how delicious New Rebozos is! Chef Paco creates a warm (literally and figuratively) and inviting atmosphere, with excellent service! Everyone was so kind and I love the fact that Chef Paco was out there chatting with guests, serving tables, and clearing dishes! It's so heartwarming to see his passion when interacting with the customers! Food was authentic with a modern twist and the craft margarita I had was amazing! I HIGHLY recommend this place if you want a truly great restaurant experience, over the top delicious food, and want to help support a 30 year old business during these times of hardships. ❤❤❤❤❤

Omg! Chef Paco always delivered! The food is excellent...the fiesta mole is my favorite. And if you dine in, you have to try a margarita. Trust me...you can’t go wrong. Check my photos, they speak for themselves.

Wow, just wow. Great food and drinks and service. Chef Paco personally comes out and he's such a nice person and great chef. The food was excellent, fresh chips and salsa. They do have a patio out back if your interested in outdoor seating. Service was quick and not rushing you to leave when done. Parking was not hard to find out in the street and out wait was about 5 mins for a table inside. A must have is the festival mole with different sauces - so good. Dessert was excellent as well. My wife loved the Chile chocolate ice cream. We will return!

I saw some other reviewers mention they felt robbed. I must have used that same term multiple times while going through our meal. First, the vegetable and rice was plain white rice tossed with a bag of frozen mixed vegetables you can find at any big box grocery store. This is food a college kid might throw together in a dorm. The Enchiladas Indigenas listed that they were filled with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The vegetables were raw carrots and raw squash. I have never in my life been more disappointed by any food item from any restaurant. Now comes the real kicker, people are not kidding when they complain about the prices. We paid $6 for a side of guac. It came in a tiny plastic container you can see in my photo next to a 1/3 cup measure. The $4 cup of salsa came in the same sized container. My wife is the one who ordered and she initially thought they forgot them because they were wrapped in a small paper bag and she assumed it was too small to hold what we paid for. The mole enchiladas were very good, as was the side of black beans. But I felt insulted by the other items we paid good money for and we will never be ordering here again. I would be embarrassed to serve those items to guests in my home, I cannot believe this food came from a restaurant people appear to be raving about.

Absolutely “OMG” delicious and great experience! Chef Paco and his staff are absolutely amazing, so sweet, welcoming and pay attention to detail and their customers. I felt as if I was a family member from the service itself. Came here for a early birthday celebration and this was the perfect place. They have outdoor seating with plenty of heaters. The tables were spaced as best as they can be, all the staff had masks on, they sanitized the entire table and chairs when a table was cleared and hand sanitizer was available. They do have a QR code to pull up the menu and plenty of CDC signage. One of the most signage that was my favorite and that I have not seen at other restaurants is two things: 1) there is a message from Chef Paco as soon you pull up the menu “Mask must be worn at all times when not seated and when our staff is at your table. Remember wearing is caring.” 2) they have this information on the table, but also as soon as you pull up the QR code, they have a friendly reminder “ that each reservation has one behind it. Please, please be considerate of the time constraints per table due to our limited capacity. 1.5 hours for groups of up to 4 guests, 2 hours for groups of up to 6 guest, 2.5 for groups up to 7+.” I thought this was really creative/good way to make guest and employees stay safe as well as being mindful of others during the pandemic. As I mentioned I have not seen this said any other restaurant that I have been dining to during the pandemic. The food and drinks was “OMG” delicioso. There is not one drink or food that we tried that we didn’t enjoy. Such good flavors, cooked perfectly and plated beautifully. I recommend New Rebozo for drinks with friends, date night, girls night out, to celebrate something, just go grab dinner, any reason, you won’t regret it and you’ll have the “OMG” experience.

Five out of five stars in quality and speed of service, flavor, and COVID-19 readiness. We ordered the special sope with hibiscus, the chile en nogada, the steak fajitas, and churros. I recommend it all. The food was brought promptly and was all All the staff wore masks and shields. There was also a shield between our table and the next. So we felt extra safe.
