Good food and a parade to boot! This is a pricey spot, kind of expected being on the square. The serving size was medium but was very tasty. Service was a little disjointed but was more than good.
Whoa just realised how low the reviews for this place are and I totally DISAGREE. The food and service were fantastic and you can't really beat the view of the Torre and the Piazza it's basically right in front of it. The lasagna and the Strigoli pasta were really good and recommend giving those dishes a try. Thanks guys!
The restaurant situated in the middle of Sienna near the famous square. We had a decent typical Italian food lunch. One of the dish was slightly salty but overall it was a good meal, service is ok.
Great service, marvelous wine 🍷, speechless location. A must try if you visit Siena. A dinner with Siena tower view is an outstanding privilege Thanks for great hospitality
The food here was better than the other reviews lead us to believe. Ate lasagne and tagliatelle sausage chianti (red onion), and they were good. Service was fast and they have water sprayers to cool patrons outdoors. Value for money wasn’t great, but it’s a tourist area, and you’re paying for a great view and location.
Have tried many bars / restaurants on the Piazza del Campo and the quality of the food and service here is maybe the best on the Piazza. However its much more expensive than the other restaurants on the Piazza, which were already very expensive. So if you are prepared to spend more money than you would on other restaurants, its definitely worth it since everything is perfect.
Fine dining with outdoor seating and view of torre di mangia. Strong cocktails, really nice wine list. The Siena-style lasagna and braised chicken were excellent. Limited but solid vegetarian options for the vegetarian in our group. Situated on the piazza del campo with views of torre del mangia. Our waitress, Carolina, was excellent.
Chose this place because it was a convenient location before having to meet our tour group within half the hour. Really just had time for a drink, there was only 1 table, so we figured they'd have time to pour 2 drinks and a couple sodas. We opted to pay immediately so we could enjoy our drinks and leave as soon as we saw our tour guide. Observed that the 2 servers during our visit were talking amongst themselves and the bartender (at what seemed about our table at they kept looking our way) the whole time we were waiting... 15 minutes after we paid, we still had no drinks, and we saw our tour group lining up. We kindly asked if we could get the drinks to go so we did not get left behind, and one server claimed, "This is not a McDonald's." Needless to say, we left with only (3 of the 5) paid drinks as we were now needing to leave asap. We did not bother to wait for the 2 beers we paid for as initially, the bartender was pouring a beer in a cup with a dead fly in it and noticed we saw him. He poured it out ONLY because he got caught. I was livid and we had to leave already, so I was not able to deal with it.. this was about 20-25 minutes from the time we placed our order We did not feel welcomed. Being a tourist spot, prices were high, and we couldn't even give a review on the beers as we never received them There are plenty of other places to choose from other than this business with a nice view, better service, and soda/beer. If you decide to choose this restaurant, hopefully you get a better experience. They wasted our time, money, and unfortunately, it was the only negative experience to our beautiful visit in Italy
