This place is a rip off. 5 EUR for a flat white and beware of a 3 EUR table fee. The owner didn't want to return the 3 EUR even after asking for take away.
It looks so nice from the outside! But the patron ignored me, literally pretending I don’t exist, even though a nice Italian lady pointed out to him, I was waiting to order. Apparently, the owner takes the graffiti outside his shop to heart.
Coffee was delicious. Cute little shop. According to reviews other tourists had some trouble with cost. The coffee has a clear price listing on the wall. I am a tourist who read the price and gave the attendant my exact change for the price on the wall. I had no issue with the bar tender changing the price. The latte macchiato was delicious. He was kind to me and I enjoyed my morning latte at this spot.
All the awful things you read here about Bar Omnia are TRUE. We had one espresso before leaving Bologna which, according to their menu, costs €1.20. We were charged €2.70 though, probably because we were tourists and because the nasty owner just felt like it. Dirty looks from him for our using the bathroom after he ripped us off (clearly he wished he had charged us even more). Oh, and at the end you get a bill NOT showing what you actually bought, just the amount, and the cash register ID + time and date is cut with a scissor (!) to avoid tracking. Really, these are crooks. So many wonderful places to have a good (and reasonably priced) coffee in Italy so AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST.
I come here since 20 years. It is a nice place where have a nice and quite stop, far from the confusion of the closest crowded places. Here we can talk in a slow voice and be understood. Rare by these days in Bologna. Food is excellent, for a true italian breakast.
We visited this bistro hoping for a quick snack before our bus journey, but were met with blatant disrespect. The cashier/barkeeper's attitude was off-putting right from the start, but we brushed it off. However, things took a turn for the worse. As tourists with only basic Italian skills, we ordered in English. It quickly became apparent that this staff member saw our language barrier as an opportunity for deception. We ordered a simple pizza and some sandwiches. Despite our best efforts to understand the price, he rushed through it in Italian, making it intentionally difficult for us. Imagine our shock when, moments later, we realized we'd been charged an exorbitant 12€ for such basic items! To add insult to injury, when we finally got to taste our overpriced snacks, they were far from satisfying. The pizza was bland and the sandwiches were nothing special. It was a clear reminder that not only were we overcharged, but the quality of the food was not up to par either. I'm no stranger to travel, and this was a blatant scam unlike any we've encountered in Italy. I urge potential customers to steer clear or, at the very least, ensure you're fluent in Italian before stepping foot inside.
Mai pagato tanto in vita mia.
The drinks were fine, but the bartender was so Rude. We had to order 8 things to sit when 6 of us only wanted something. The juice cost us 6 euro. We would say he scammed us. Don’t come here, worst place ever.
Very bad cappuccino & got massively overcharged for it (3EUR). - DO NOT GO!!
9.40 euros for two coffes. They charge you 1.50 euros perperson, even for two small kids that did not order anything, one being a baby siiting in our knees. The Waiter eas really angry and disrespectful, it was even scary. Worst coffe shop we've ever been.
Un cappuccino e un mignon 4€: che dire? Si commenta da sé...
An ideal place if you’re looking to pay as if the coffee were served inside the Vatican, but with the hospitality of a military bunker during wartime. We ordered three very average coffees (honestly, kind of sad), and they charged us like they were flown in on a private jet from Colombia, roasted by Tibetan monks, and served in golden cups. Spoiler: they weren’t. But the real highlight? I asked where the bathroom was. The owner — with the warmth of an angry cactus — told me there wasn’t one. Excuse me, what? Am I a rock that doesn’t have bodily functions? Then, almost magically, the bathroom does exist, but he didn’t tell me where it was, nor did he give me the slightest impression I was allowed to use it. Only after I saw a lady go in did I follow her like Moses parting the Red Sea on the way to the Promised Land — or at least to a toilet. In summary: airport prices, prison hospitality, and a bathroom that, like happiness, exists but must be earned. I wouldn’t go back even if they offered me free coffee… Well, maybe — but only if they actually show me where the bathroom is this time.
I stopped in to this small corner cafe for a cappuccino on my way to the train around 8:15 on a weekday. There were few people there and I was served pleasantly and politely by what seemed to be a man and wife couple. The cappuccino was velvety smooth. Caramel and round versus bitter which is my preference. Tried to go back today (Saturday around the same time) and they were closed. This will be my weekday regular from now on.
Prezzi alti e servizio pessimo.
Beware of usury! The owner charged us 8,50 (!) for a small tramezzino !!!
A scammer who will always charge more than the original prices
Rip of was over changed. The sandwich was dry and a wast of money. Do not go there. Cross over the road. The others cafe this had great coffee and cheap.
