GALILEI VIP LOUNGE

A small lounge with a limited selection of salads, pastry and drinks. There were not many gluten-free options.

Basic lounge, quiet when I went 8am on Wednesday. The receptionist was extremely unprofessional, ignoring me when I wanted to check in, I waited for a while, she finally looked at me, and I had to request to check in (surely that’s her whole job?). The breakfast food was ok there were croissants, pancakes, bread, eggs, cheese, salamis, fruit and yoghurt. There was a coffee machine, a water machine and fridge full of soft drinks and beer. There were a couple of wines and one out two spirits. Quite a lot of seating.

It was clean, and the food was edible. Chairs were uncomfortable and there was only plastic cutlery.

As a twice weekly lounge traveler, confused by the reviews. It was clean, great drinks selection, quiet and extremely friendly staff.

The lounge isn’t so bad… staff are friendly and it’s clean. There’s a small selection of food and drinks so there could be more variety but the main problem is the flies. They were all over the toilet 😭

It’s 8:30 PM on a Saturday, the airport is packed to the brim with every square meter of the floor occupied, 10 more flights to departure yet this lounge closed at 8 PM. How do you NOT want to earn more money is beyond me. Considering the low overall quality of the lounge you start to wonder what in the heck is going on here. Just incomprehensible.

Atmosphere here was pretty nice, place is small so there might be not enough sitting place. WiFi didn’t work properly. Food options were pretty limited.

I found this lounge surprisingly poor/medium quality for such an important tourist destination (considering Florence airport is pretty much not existent). Food offer is limited and average quality. They don’t have high chairs for kids. Toilets and tables don’t get cleaned continuously. I have visited many lounges around the globe and this is possibly the worst.

Dreadful, the worst lounge I have ever visited. Like entering a 1970s hotel lounge with unsmiling staff and shocking food offering. If you are thinking of paying extra to visit, think again! If you are thinking of upgrading your flight out of Pisa for the added 'lounge experience' think again, save your money for somewhere else!

This is by far the”worst”lounge that I have ever been to! The welcoming is unfriendly, there is no service, the cleanliness is terrible. The food is disgraceful and there is no attention for detail. What I find the most concerning that the staff does simply not care! Super unfriendly and they should been send away.

The lounge is okay to rest for a bit and deink something. The food variety is not the best, most of it types of carbs (foccacia, bread, muffins etc.) but if you are really hungry you will find something to eat. There are only a few plugs so charging the devices can be tricky. I wouldn't pay to enter but with Priority Pass it's worth it, especially since the Airport is little and you have no place to sit at your gate.

Look, it's better than being wedged into the overcrowded tiny airport at peak times but if you are looking for a typical lounge experience where you are welcomed and enjoy good standards of food and drinks...this is not the place. On the upside, the staff are comically rude (with some exceptions) to the point where you feel that you might be on candid camera or in an episode of faulty towers. Food is as previously described; limited, cold, stale and uninspiring. Drinks are basic surroundings are ok but with mininmal powepoints etc. Worth it if you want to avoid the crowds but that's about it.

A very disappointing lounge. Not saying this to offend anybody, but just because I think whomever is in charge SHOULD do something about this. The food is not extraordinary at all, there’s no fresh oil and vinegar for the salads (instead you get some small bags), nothing that looks too fresh or interesting to eat (most of it very unhealthy and not appetizing). The hot chocolate is some kind of brown colored water. The capuccino tastes like black coffee with a tiny bit of milk. What’s worst is the cleaning level. I haven’t seen something like this in a long tine, maybe last time in Egypt. It’s extremely dirty and the armchairs are disgusting to sit on. The air con and the curtains - same. The toilet smells quite bad, although there’s a fragrance which tries to cover it. Not only that I don’t recommend it, but I suggest the company in charge of this lounge does something about this. It literally feels disgusting :(

not friendly lady at the reception, very limited offer and almost empty fridge (not refilling) but mostly- NOBODY CLEANED THE PLACE DURING MORE THAN HOUR WE WERE THERE. the place was a mess, dirty tables and chairs. still nice offer of beverages and tasty coffee, place would be nice if it was clean.

It was our first tinebin there on Thursday and it was nice and peaceful compared to ones we've been to previously. The food and drinks available were good also.

This is the lounge you wait in for 1000 years before they let you into hell. Genuinely must be up there for one of the worst lounges I’ve ever witnessed (first world problems eh). But seriously, dry stale looking pastry/biscuit type things. Flies all over the place, along the bread as you can see in the lovely photo. Beer keg broken. Fridge mostly empty and sandwiches that have been sitting there all day. Me of the most packed airports where people prefer to sit on the floor than pay to get into the lounge and I found out why, far too late. Don’t waste your time or money, this place is genuinely beyond grim. If you could give 0 stars I would, anything above that is too generous - hopefully this review saves you.

I had a delayed flight and some troubles with my plane so I landed in the Pisa airport and my flight wasn’t until 6 hours later. I found a lounge and in the front of the lounge it said it was full but I still went in and found a seat. I tried to find some food but after one bite, I almost threw up. I was already overwhelmed from my flight being cancelled. I placed my bags on the seats near me because I would be staying here until my plane arrives, but all of a sudden I was told to take my bags off the chair because “there is a line waiting to be seated.” You pay €35 per person, which is outrageous (I went with my family of 4). I tried to rest but it was chaotic and I could not put my leg anywhere, or else the lady would tell me to put my leg down. When I was also sitting down, there was an elderly couple that just wanted to come in and relax, but the receptionist threatened to call the police on the man, which breaks my heart. Worst experience, do not recommend coming here. (Flies everywhere near the buffet)

One of the worst lounges ever. Unfriendly service, bad food, plastic forks, knives and spoons. Never see anything like this before in a lounge

Spent nearly an hour here just to charge my phone- no other guests yet every table was full of dirty glasses, food (not sure where they acquired this food as there was nothing left when I arrived at 12:00 p.m on a Saturday) and general waste. Shame the absolute prop forward of a receptionist lady could not be bothered to emerge from her lair to clear any of the plates. Must have been too busy attending to the non-existent guests' needs. At least all the fruit flies had a nice time. I would rather spend an hour in Mariupol than visit this airport lounge ever again.

One part dated but ok, the other part dated and run down. Nothing has changed to this lounge in a decade. It would be so easy to freshen it up. It’s not clean either. Flies are at the buffet but also by the seats. Food used to be nice but has massively reduced in standard too. At least it wasn’t busy.
