It was ok really pricey, I got a boiled platter. Sorry it wasn't good but my cousin had a fried fish platter it looked good and she said" it was goo" Coleslaw is to die for!!!

My first time eating here today., order the medium catfish strip plate. Fish and hush puppies and coleslaw. When I took my first bite of the coleslaw my mouth went off like the 4th of July. Flavor was popping like fireworks in my mouth. I have never tasted coleslaw like this. It is the best anywhere in Mississippi. Awesome. The catfish was the best. Tea was perfect. Atmosphere was so cozy and comfortable. Staff were very friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone. You won’t go anywhere’s else after you dine here. 100% Satisfied

Best catfish ever. Light fine corn meal batter. My favorite the pickled green tomato. Omg you have got to stop if you are thinking about it.

Soooooooo…..I was wondering why they were only opened 3 days out of the week. I was HOPING it was because the food was so good they packed in the people over the weekend. Well, unfortunately, it is because the prices are absolutely insane for the quality, but most importantly, the amount of food for the dollar. I should have been suspicious when we pulled up Friday afternoon and there was room to park. The service was great, the food was mediocre and the prices per portion were disgraceful. We could have visited NUMEROUS restaurants in the New Orleans area and got more and better food for the same price or a few dollars more. I hate doing these kind of reviews, BUT I have to keep it real. We won’t be returning and hope that this gets the owners thinking a little bit. Mind you, I have owned a food truck, catering and brick and motor building in Wisconsin and we had better pricing and product. And I sourced it all from Louisiana as this is where I am from. Sorry but not so sorry Rayner’s, this is a result of greediness in my opinion. Best of luck in the future but I would rethink my portions or pricing. If you go there it’s on you. But I warned you.

Good home cooking. The fried green tomatoes are fabulous! Can also buy pickled spicy green tomatoes by the jar.

First time for me and I loved it! Ordered the 6 fried oyster plate with fries, coleslaw and hush puppies. Very delicious!! Wonderful waitress! Will be back!!

Have been going there for years food is good but lately the portions of catfish is not near as good a medium fillet is not a fillet it’s a strip off of a fillet about 3/4 of a in by 5 inches whole catfish about 8 inches long . Really need to fix this. A 10 I would throw back.

Fantastic as it was 7 years ago during my last visit to Hattiesburg.

I order a seafood platter when I got home it wasn't any Oyster's in my plate. I call back up there the lady said Ohhh we out of Oyster's. I feel when I was paying her she should have said that right away!! That's why I order the seafood platter for the Oyster's and it's more money!! I will never go back they lost a awesome customer.

Better not come here it was only catfish fillets that was ok .. hush puppies just taste like fried flour you wasted money

Very yummy food!! The fried pickles are so crunchy and so so good! Their hushpuppies are the best I have ever eaten so crunchy on the outside and soft and fluffy on inside! The service was outstanding. Can't wait for next visit for more hushpuppies💖

Not a full nightly menu, only seafood. Don’t expect to get butter with your hush puppies either, they don’t keep butter. No slice lemons for water, only lemon packs. Atmosphere great, waitress great. Kept checking on asking if we needed anything.

Well my husband and i didn't dine in. We ordered to go and when I got there it was only 4people dining in so I was a little nervous about my food. Seafood restaurant and Saturday evening it's not crowded and I also looked at the reviews, but I'm the type to see for myself and everyone's experience is not going to be the same. I'm soo glad I still ordered my food because were on the road in the truck most of the time and we're so tired of the truck stop food. So Thanks to your cook and staff.!!! We really enjoyed every bite

Waitress was phenomenal! Food was excellent. I don't care for fish most of the time, but tried the wife's dinner and that was damned good fish.

Too bad I hav to give one star... they should get none.... the food used to b good there... now it is way over priced and was cold and the people were rude..... Bet I don't waste my money there ever again

I've passed this place many times and never stopped by. I was celebrating my fiancé birthday with him, and he suggested this place. He said they were great. And my ole my he didn't lie. The food was wonderful. I had oysters and shrimp. He enjoyed the fish. I knew the Hushpuppies and corn bread had to be great considering there was a sign telling how much it was to purchase their batter. The staff was great. 10 out of 10, I do recommend.

It was good. Bone in catfish was a little small didn't get much meat off of it.. We will order the catfish strips next time. Didn't like that we had to pay extra $3 to share a platter. Just for a small plate to put my stuff on it. A little pricey.

Lovely little place with extremely friendly and great staff. My only complaint is the largest seafood platter i can get more food for my money elsewhere. It is expensive for what you get...other than that the food was delicious.

This place was terrible. It's old and prices are not that great. We were charged an extra plate for sharing and extra percent for using our credit card at the time. Platter is small so had zero leftover unlike other places we go to. Don't recommend because there is much better places to go to.

Great home style fried catfish, hushpuppies, and hand cut dries. Go early, they close at 7:30.

Everyone was very warm and friendly! Being Disabled iwas very comfortable enough to dine in. The Staff was so gracious and professional! I had a breathing problems at the time had to get carry out! Excellent food! you get a lot for your money ❤ So delicious 😋 money well spent 😋

Might just be the best fish house I have been to. Fair pricing, amazing customer service, hand made hush puppies and fries, hand battered fresh catfish. It's delicious and 10/10 would recommend to everyone that loves fish and seafood.
