Wow, and I mean WOW. When did Fort Bragg become heaven? I woke up to a "Yelp Elite" friend calling me asking me "if I would like to head down to Los Gallitos Mexican Restaurant for a quick lunch, and a drink or 2 to wash it down. I couldn't find any reason why not to head down to this "local" favorite. First off, the establishment is beyond clean, and the people working were more than friendly. Second: The food here was excellent, I went with the boneless wings (come in 5 different flavors), and queso-tacos. The queso-tacos were some, if not the best I have had in my life. I recommend that plate to anyone that is wanting to try something delicious. My friend who is a quote "food expert", but in my mind might be a better judge of drinks, and a good time 😂 really enjoyed himself and his "boneless" wings they put on the menu for him. My final word on this place is give it a try, and see what locals and tourists from near and far away rave about. Tell them " The Pudding Creek Trestle" sent you. Enjoy your Wednesday, and remember to Visit Noyo Harbor when done with this great restaurant. PS. The ladies working there are pretty nice on the eyes and well worth a drink, or two to admire them. #thepuddingcreektrestle #foodielife #fortbragg #mexicanfood #onlyfans My Home Is Fort Bragg California #onlyinfortbragg Only in Fort Bragg #onlyinmendocino Only in Mendocino #vivaLosG Ron's Restaurant Reviews

We stopped by to pick up some tacos to go after being at the beach all afternoon. We tried several different meat options, all in soft tacos. Starting with our favorite and ending with least favorite: chili verde, steak, marinated pork (somewhat sweet flavor), chicken, marinated beef (think taco seasoned ground beef but maybe a bit better than you make at home). Overall we were pretty happy for $3 tacos.

The food was excellent. Unfortunately they are understaffed. Her waiter was taking care of a group of 15 and pretty much forgot about us for most of the evening. The food was good and competitively priced. Although the service was not the best, I would eat her again.

Edit: in the below reply they managed to just frustrate me further. The LEAST of the issue was the dry chicken. The biggest issue was the fact that there was a PINCH of cheese and the tortilla was barely cooked. I downgraded the review from a four to a three star because of the condescending response. Would have easily been a 5-star review — awesome service, awesome margaritas, great atmosphere. BUT I got the single worst quesadilla of my life here. Undercooked, barely any cheese, chicken dry as the desert. It pains me to say you’re better off going to Taco Bell if you’re in a quesadilla mood. The wet burrito is good though and there are vegan options. Just stay away from the quesadilla at all costs. If quesadillas are your favorite like me then just prepare to be HEAVILY disappointed

Really beautiful atmosphere with great food. The marinated pork taco is amazing. Finished all the food before taking photos of the dishes 😄

We ordered the wet carnitas burrito and a torta de carne asada. The torta was really good, not too much bread and an appropriate amount of meat. It was in need of a spicy salsa, but the salsa that came with tortilla chips did the trick. The wet burrito was good, but if you’re trying for the first time, maybe ask for the sauce on the side so you can taste it first and add at your own discretion. We also enjoyed some drinks and will return to try the flautas, sopes, and tacos.

Easily the worst tasting Mexican food I have had in over a decade. The Carne Asada was disgusting and literally tasted like some 3 day old Beef Shawarma. Not sure what seasoning they're using in the Asada but it is actually foul. The chicken enchiladas were dry and flavorless. May as well been eating overcooked turkey with no sauce or seasoning. We ordered the nachos and it was the laziest and most basic thing I have ever seen. Basically no cheese, same disgusting Carne asada and a teaspoon of guac with a touch of sour cream. What a slap in the face. It's almost like they don't even care about the quality or appearance of their food...and this place was pretty busy which blew my mind. That all being said the service was awesome. The kid at the register made us feel very welcomed and the art was absolutely gorgeous. If only the food was as good as the art, we would be in good hands. I have eaten at the many Mexican restaurants in Fort Bragg, let alone across Mendocino County and this is by far the worst I have experienced. Terrible attention to detail, extremely dry food with lack of condiments and by far the worst Carne Asada I have ever tasted. Waste of 50$. Avoid if you care about your money or even more importantly, your appetite.

We did take out, Took it back to our room the food was great. And so were the margaritas to go.
