Decided to give this place a shot on the recommendation of The Pudding Creek Trestle, let me say this, I was highly impressed by the quality of the food. The menu here is pretty large with daily specials on the wall when you walk in. The food came out fast and delicious. I really love how they give you chips and salsa as you waited for your food. I will be back again for sure.

We were only in Fort Bragg for a day but we're so happy we decided to stop at La Palapa for lunch. Extremely impressed with the food. Girls had an Asada Supreme Quesadilla, an Asada Supreme Burrito and a Grilled Chicken Chimichanga. It was Tuesday so I opted for the Carnitas Taco Tuesday Plate Special. All were very filling and extremely satisfying. It was nice to get a tall bottle of Mexican Coke as well. Definitely some of the best Mexican fare I've had. A few blocks off the main road but worth it. You will not regret coming here!

Steak Ranchero was really good. Busy Saturday with a lot of locals. We got there just in time before the dinner rush. The line was out the door after we ordered. Highly recommend if you're in fort bragg and looking for some great Mexican food 😋

Everything we ordered tasted well made. They had a huge rush of walk-ins, phone orders, and to go orders. Every person working managed it well. The servers kept their cool and delivered great service. Our food came out in a timely manner, still hot and fresh. We were thoroughly impressed and well be back for more.

Place is small. Food is wonderful. Service is outstanding. Grilled cod tacos....mmmmmmmm

Authentic Mexican food off the main strip of Fort Bragg. It’s delicious, visually appealing and has large portions definitely a great value. The staff was very nice and friendly and accommodated us party of 6 even though their almost closing. We arrived around 7:35 they closed at 8 pm.

I order to go and the food was great. The inside has only a few tables, but appears clean and cozy. I ordered a California burrito with added cheese and a chili relleno burrito. The Cali burrito tasted great and the fries were well-cooked and not soggy. The cheese was a good choice and added some added flavor and creaminess. The chilli relleno burrito was also great, with chopped chili and lots of flavor. Recommended!

I love this kind of restaurant. Good food, large portions, friendly family atmosphere. It's just a little hole in the wall place, but it is clean and welcoming.
