My first personal experience with Impulse was attending the premier of “Unapologetically Us”. Ultimately I won’t be able to do my feelings justice as some things are felt and unable to be explained adequately with words. I needed some time to process this event and try to organize my thoughts. This was true art in my eyes. I felt the love, passion, attention to detail, and inclusiveness that the owners and staff have for dance. I felt as I watched that this was how the human family was meant to interact and inspire each other. This was how I experience what some call God or a higher power. The feelings I had while experiencing this art form were what life is all about. The music, cinematography, choreography, and skill of the dancers was great. This gave everyone an opportunity to be beautiful, celebrated, and together!! The performance, choreography, music, etc. was adapted to the skill level and personality of the dancers. I saw everyone and no one. Each individual soul had infinite depth and worth, yet each flowed harmoniously together as one whole. This event was an expression of joy I hope to have many more times in my life and is something that is hard for anything but true art to create. One word that keeps coming to mind about Impulse is power. Power to move others, physically, emotionally, spiritually. And when you’re powerful, you can change the world, one dancer at a time.

I've been a student for about two and a half months. It's been an incredible experience so far. Both of my instructors, Kira and Mo, are both kind and encouraging. The students are also wonderful. I'm taking ballet and jazz, and I'm doing things I never thought I would or could. This is definitely a place of acceptance and openness. There's never been a moment where I haven't felt welcome.

I love being a member at Impulse. The owner and instructors are dedicated to creating a supportive environment where fun comes first! This studio is so welcoming and everyone I've met here has been so kind. Impulse is a great place to become stronger, learn to be kinder to yourself, dance joyfully, and gain self confidence while learning a variety of skills from talented instructors. All levels of skill may find a home here :)

I’ve been dancing at impulse for a couple months now and really enjoy it! I’ve been learning a lot and honestly have no complaints! I feel like the class is just enough to push me outside of my comfort zone and skill level, but not too much where I’m completely lost. It’s a fun encouraging environment and I’d recommend it to someone wanting to try something new! Shoutout to Liz, she’s such a great instructor and is really good at breaking things down in a way that anyone can understand (I especially appreciate analogies).

I have been attending this dance studio for the past few months with my work group, and I look forward to coming every week. Nadia is an outstanding dance instructor who is also very personable. I have a lot of fun at the studio and feel energized when I leave. If you are looking for a fun and enjoyable place to dance, this is the place for you. Come and check it out!

I started dancing at Impulse in early Jan. 2023 after moving from Philly. I haven't taken a dance class in years, but the support from the instructors and other students has been outstanding. I feel so comfortable dancing and being myself at Impulse. The studio is clean, the staff is friendly, and the wealth of knowledge and talent they bring to the table is impressive. Don't sleep on Impulse! They are the real deal!

I started at Impulse a few months ago and I'm so happy I signed up for classes! I'm currently taking a jazz and a hip hop class. Each class is so fun and a great workout. I was nervous to get back into dancing because it had been a few years, but everyone here has been so kind and accepting. I would highly recommend Impulse to anyone who is looking for a welcoming community of people who love to dance 😊

I had not taken a dance class since becoming a mother over a decade ago when I signed up for Shelli's Be Bad hip hop fitness class. I wish I had adequate words to put to Shelli's magic, but I don't know how to describe it. She has that x-factor style, that je ne sais quoi that not only makes it a total delight to watch her dance, but makes you feel like you're a hot, 21 year old badee again, living it up at the club. There's something about how she sinks down fully into her own enjoyment of dance that it doesn't seem like she's there because it's a job. I live for attending her class now. When I first saw the whole class bend from the waist and slap their hands on the floor in unison in one of the songs, I almost teared up from that feeling of being in the middle of something awesome, and belonging there. I find myself dancing more at home, in the car, at the gym, because of feeling more confident at Impulse. ♥️
