I love to walk my dogs here. The loop is great for me in the morning. It is long enough to give my pups a decent walk(probably about 1.3 miles) there are plenty of things you can do as well including a nice skate park, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, hockey rink, basketball, pavilions for parties or cook outs, kids water area, dog park and so on. This is a wonderful spot to experience nature even the animals like to hang out here. Very serene and scenic. There are dog bags along the walk to help keep people reaponsible for cleaning up after their pets additionally.

I loved this Park! There were walking paths around a little lake. Beautiful bird sanctuary. Lots of room for activities. Skateboards, baseball, basketball, climbing wall for the children. Benches everywhere to sit and watch all the activities. Fossil areas. It was really special.

A great place for a short walk where the sidewalks aren't overrun by aggressive bicyclists. Plenty of grassy areas for sports and picnics. Also the large mound in the middle of the park provides a decent sledding hill in the winter.

Went for softball games, but the little siblings on the team loved the fishing pond nearby. Good viewing area for parents, though the dugouts do obstruct some viewing. Great park in a very nice community.

If you like unleashed dogs this is the place for you. No matter when I go for a run unleashed dogs, lawsuits waiting to happen. Typically by the water and up on the hill or by the ball fields. Why have a leash law if it's not enforced?

Seems to have everything here, great for all ages. Best skate park in the city I think. There is a kids waterfall on the backside for when it gets warmer. A good size lake that you can fish in or just feed the ducks. Outdoor hockey rink is set up next to the parking lot. There are baseball fields and vendor sales during games. Tennis courts are lit at night The golf course is across the street.

Loved our visit! The playground and skate park are next to each other. There's a gated off dog park area across the parking lot from the playground. There's also a mini "rink" for floor hockey, soccer etc. A baseball field nearby too, and lots of open grass area. If you go to the top of the hill in the middle of the park, there's a bench where you can sit and look at the entire area, which has lovely views! Also, the splash pad is awesome with little waterfalls and grassy areas nearby to set up a blanket/picnic.

Beautiful lake and walking trail, fun park for kids, several mediocre softball fields, nice incorporation of natural landscape, pavilions for picnics, mountain views. It’s a great park, but not quite as amenity-laden as nearby Twin Silos Park, a true 5-star park.

There are plenty of things you can do at this park, ranging from spending time at the dog park, skate park, tennis courts, baseball diamonds, basketball courts, sheltered picnic tables, and many other facilities. This is a wonderful spot to get a small taste of nature while still being in the city. There’s additionally a trail leading through the park with spectacular scenery as well as dog bags available along the pathway to help people pick up after their pets :)

It is a nice multiuse park, a dog park, baseball fields, basketball, skate, nice play ground, and yes a great winter tube/slide too (quit popular after snow dump. Plenty of parking and a large covered area for large group celebration. Various water bird visits its pond though out the year. Some nice houses lines the east and west side. The fossil creek trail run though it tie to other trails if you want longer connection.

Great place to take kids of all ages. Climbing wall, jungle gyms, slides, and a giant mammoth to climb on. The lake is nearby and there are paths to walk. Dog friendly. I believe there's a pavilion with tables and a public restroom.

favorite park in fort collins, very beautiful and lovely bird population. the only thing that would make it better is if there wasn’t children chasing the geese while their parents watch, also would be a plus if teenagers weren’t hitting golf balls in the pond trying to hit the birds. lovely place with absolutely disgusting people. do better fort collins

Would be a 5-star park…if the bathrooms weren’t so far from the playground. Why on earth would they put them on the opposite side of the tennis courts. If you have young children you have to pack up and RUN with them, or they won’t make it (especially if they are new to potty training). If they ever wise up and put even a portable toilet by the park, I would give it 5 stars.

I like walking here from dusk to dark. Little traffic at this time, and most times of year. And in the warmer months, great picnic and themed play areas for families with children if you don't want to leave the city. Lots of amenities (mostly on West side) including small lakes, sledding hill, paved trails (some packed dirt trails in/near area as well), multiple clean and well-lit shelters and restrooms, fields/courts for many sports, and mid-sized dog park. Some view of mountains over adjoining neighborhoods. Shady areas are sparse, but may improve as trees mature. Good access for Fossil Creek Trail.

Great big park with lots of activities to do. Love the dog park and all the birds. One word of caution is be careful at night around the restroom areas took my dog on a walk and was asked if I needed any services and the guy followed me all the way to my car.

My kids loved this park and said it’s their favorite park to visit! There is also a shaded seating area overlooking the ark so you can see your kids at all times.

Such a beautiful place to walk around. It has plenty of benches and rolling hills. Skateboard park, dog park and playground is the perfect place for everyone in the family.

Great place for the family, including your dogs. You do need to keep your dog in site and pay attention so they don't bother other people and keep them safe in their interactions with other dogs. Some people don't follow those rules and it impacts other people's ' & dog's enjoying the park.

One of the best parks in Fort Collins. There's something for everyone. I love walking my dogs here since there is a nice trail around the pond and a dog park. Also great for sledding since there's a huge hill with views of the mountains.

A gem in the City's park system, Fossil Creek has a series of dog friendly paved walking trails around a group of lakes with mountain views. The park includes a large skate board park and play areas with large fossil themed elements for kids to enjoy. A walk around the lakes in summer guarantees turtle viewing and a wide variety of water fowl, heron and migrating pelicans. Ample parking is provided in the very accessible neighborhood resource.

Fantastic park! One of the best parks I've ever visited. Great view of Longs Peak and the pond is an awesome place to watch a sunset. Its a hidden gem in Ft. Collins. Please pick up your trash, recycle when possible and don't litter. Let's not love it to death.
