You have just lost a devoted and loyal costumer. I have been coming to Genoa for I don’t even know how long, sometimes alone to grab a cup of coffee and sometimes with friend or family. Today I came in and got my usual cup of coffee and I was treated very poorly. The 2 girls serving and taking my order were snarky and rude and always looked at me like I did something wrong. It immediately made me not feel welcome and ruined my image of this place. Genoa has always been almost like a second home for me, but now i will be taking my service elsewhere. I will not be coming back anytime soon, at least until those 2 girls are gone or decide to not to ruin my day or anyone else’s.

Oh my God I love this place! Today I had the most delicious spicy chai latte with vanilla. The service is quick and friendly and it’s a really nice setting. It’s a terrific place to meet friends for socializing or a quick meal. Can’t wait to return!

First time here since the reopening. Ordered take-out (bagel breakfast sandwich). Disappointing experience - appears everything was microwaved and mostly tasteless. Bagel was hard and chewy though had grill marks? Had 3 bites then threw the rest away and ate something else at home. Won't be back any time soon even though I live around the corner. Service here always been great and I have no reason to suspect that's changed as the young lady greeted me with a big smile when I picked up the order, but plenty of better food options around

New favorite coffee shop in Fort Collins, Colorado. Great location for those who live close by. Take a walk, ride a bike and come enjoy a cup of joe or a glass of wine.

Genoa Coffee and Wine was a great place to start off the day! The drinks were good, albeit a little cold, but the food was excellent and service was top notch! Nicely decorated, and they were being good about navigating business and public safety well.

Always an enjoyable experience at Genoa. In my eyes they are the friendliest cafe in FoCo. (bring back the tiramisu latte please it's so goOD) 💚💛 Jill is an angel and makes the BEST lunches

Genoa reopened May 15! I absolutely love this place. it has amazing lattes and good food in a nice little spot. They have later open hours now until 9pm where they serve beer and wine. The staff is always super friendly and its definitely a great place to stip by for sure.

A pleasant coffee shop with nice outdoor seating. The coffee and lattes are good, and there is a good selection of pastries. The yogurt is pretty and very tasty.

Amazing food that is unique. I love working here on my laptop because of great wifi, great service, and extremely delicious coffee and food! A very clean place as well and the owners are great. Thanks for serving our community and I support badass local entrepreneurs! Glad you guys are in Fort Collins!

Have been here a number of times since it reopened. Everything I’ve had here has been great. Especially love that there is a variety of tea. The staff is always friendly. It’s a great spot that supports the local community. Only thing I’d love to see more of is healthy or veggie options without cheese. Definitely recommend coming here!

My wife and I were very happy to see that someone bought Genoa from the previous owners and they did not close the business. It is such a great business to have at the Rigden shopping center. Our only complaint is that the new owners have chosen to be closed on Sundays. Sunday was the day we usually visited Genoa. We think that is a huge mistake and will hurt them in the end. The Rigden Farm community is full of residents that walk the trails regularly and a Sunday is a perfect time to stop by for a coffee or breakfast. I understand that restaurants often close during one day of the week. Mondays or Tuesdays would make more sense for this type of business and the surrounding community. We hope they will reconsider this decision very soon.

Disappointing since the reopening! Great customer service but that’s about it. Both times I’ve tried, they’ve gotten the orders wrong. The food is clearly microwaved, French toast comes out hard as a rock and/or chewy. Overpriced for the amount of food- especially the quiche! Coffee was pretty good.

Since new ownership I have been extremely happy with the level of service and care they have for their customers. The bakery items available are absolutely perfect with a shot of espresso! I highly recommend this place for amazing food customer service and coffee! Love Trevor ❤️

Cozy vibe, surprisingly decent food and menu for a beverage place, and great staff. The closing staff 1/24/23 were awesome

Yummy coffee, don't expect a super sweet dessert latte. But it is yummy nonetheless. Cozy corners, great selection of wine as well

I was a regular here throughout 2017 due to proximity. Sadly, this cafe lacks a lot of the essentials of a great coffee shop. First and foremost is the wait. The line for this place is almost never more than two people deep, but you will still wait 10-20 minutes every single time just to get your order taken. There simply is not enough staff. I had more than one occasion where there was no line and I still had to wait nearly ten minutes to have my order taken. The part that always bugged me about this place is the atmosphere. Cafes tend to cater to a couple types of people--an individual working/studying or small groups looking to catch up. Genoa utter fails those who wish to work alone. It is almost as if the building is designed to be loud. They are also right in the middle of a neighborhood with lots of children--so you will often find yourself glaring at children after they decided to scream bloody murder and the parents did nothing about it. It would appear that this place was built for small groups who intend to have business meetings or catch up. But they fail there as well. There is so little comfortable seating that you will find it difficult to want to spend more than half an hour here. And if you are lucky enough to get one of the few comfortable seats, you will quickly realize how awkwardly placed they are. The coffee is decent and the food is reasonably priced (for Fort Collins). The best part of this place (as with most cafes) is the baristas. They genuinely try despite working for an extremely dysfunctional cafe in a building that does not allow the atmosphere necessary. Do yourself a favor and go to Harbinger or Bindle if you live in East Fort Collins.

Genoa Coffee and Wine is by far my favorite place to grab a coffee. The interior is beautiful, the drinks delicious, and I’ve never had a bad experience there. The coffee is far superior to the glorified sugar-milk that you might get served at a “coffee” shop elsewhere. This is because the coffee is not overly sweet, and the flavor complements the bitterness. Overall, this is probably the best coffee shop that I’ve found thus far in Fort Collins. My only qualm is that they started opening a bit later than what allows me to frequent the place, but I suppose that makes it more enjoyable when I can make it.

Love the vibe in this place. They have indoor and outdoor seating, plenty of parking. I’ve loved everything on the menu And I’ve been here several times. Unfortunately, I visited here today and ordered a veggie panini and after about 30 minutes of waiting, I asked the cashier if he knew about how much longer it would be for my sandwich. He said “I think she’s just finishing it up now so it should be out shortly” … some time later he reapproached me at my table to say “I’m really sorry but I messed up your sandwich so it’s gonna be a while longer”. I totally understand mistakes happen and sometimes things are slow, but I’m on my lunch break and I’ve now been here nearly 45 minutes and still no food. I’m beyond annoyed. I think it would have been appropriate to offer me a comped meal or a discount for next time or something?!? Again, I love this place and want to come back but this experience is making me feel the opposite ☹️ Update *** I appreciate the gesture of offering a free meal but I have reached out via the contact us on your website asking how I should go about getting a comped meal, but no response. It’s been several weeks. Not sure what else to do. Would appreciate you reaching out. Thank you.

Food is OK but I expect my entire meal to be in the bag when I've paid and it's "ready for pick up"..The cucumbers for my chicken salad, my side of fruit and my girlfriend's side of fruit were forgotten. Not worth driving back but thought I should let anyone who is reading this know to remember to always check your bag before driving all the way home. I did not and that was my mistake. BTW, the chicken salad isn't a very large portion and the cranberries don't really work with it because it tastes like it was made with salty canned chicken. No hate, just honesty.
