What a treat to learn this was here! I’ve only seen a similar Mother Earth visual (this one is entitled Thrive) by South African artist Daniel Popper in Tulum, Mexico. I had already planned a visit to Midnight Monday’s at Bodega, so my visit worked out perfectly as it’s right across the street - literally. Stop by. Unlike Tulum and I’m sure Las Vegas, there was absolutely no lines. I waited 30+ minutes in Tulum on any early morning for some shots but this was simple and we felt like we had the place all to ourselves even on a beautiful evening. People clearly aren’t aware of the spiritual gem sitting in Fort Lauderdale and a tribute to global/diverse figures. This figure stands as a symbol of hope and standing within her interior you can’t help but feel and appreciate the hope, beauty and feminine essence of women. I really like the feminine aspects and details of Daniels work. The opening of the chest gives me chills and reminds me of the soul of a people to believe, hope, give, love and be vulnerable. I hope you find this review helpful. If so, please give me a thumbs up. Thank you

Wow…she’s beautiful. What a beautiful installation of art. She’s so impressive sitting peacefully by the river behind her. When you are able to walk through her and the sights and sounds reflect the energy she brings to south Florida you then realize the wow factor. Daniel Popper has similar statues all over the world, I guess I just added finding them to my bucket list.

Stopped by at around 7pm Friday night. We are new to the area so did not know if there was parking nearby, we did see a sign that says valet right in front of the las olas building but the hubby decided to just let me out and take pics while he waited in the car. This art installation is soooo beautiful I can’t wait to see Daniel Popper’s future exhibits. I originally wanted to visit the Morton Arboretum exhibit in Chicago but was not able to, this is the next best thing. ❤️

This is our second visit to this incredible piece of art by Daniel Popper. It is just amazing! We were there yesterday, on a Sunday and it wasn't very crowded. The first time we went was a year ago, and there was a very long line of people waiting to take their pictures next to her. She is a great photo op from all angles. When you step into her chest cavity, you get chills. She is almost 30 feet tall. Thrive is located by the New River in the heart of Las Olas Fort Lauderdale. I wish there were benches around or near it so I could sit there and stare at her and drift off in my thoughts. She is fascinating. We found parking along the street.

This statue is amazing!! Sadly right now there is construction all around it but very little publicity of it helps keep it almost a “secret”!! I saw it on an early Sunday morning when I went to get tacos at bodega (good stuff btw) and there , across the street on the corner- hidden and surrounded by warning fence… this beauty! I didn’t know there were others around the world or that inside it had greenery- I guess they will fix it once the construction is over… my picture is from may2021 - hope it’s available to walk into when you visit 🙂

A must for great pictures. Also enjoy a nice brazilian inspired cafe right behind the art work.
