Unfortunately, it’s time for me to bid my Cressi mask adieu. I dropped by Underwater Unlimited to find a replacement before I head out on a trip. I was pleasantly surprised by the customer service. I was given helpful advice regarding how to choose the best mask fit for me, which led me to the Aqualung Look in black. In addition, I was given helpful advice regarding wetsuits, fins, and hooded vests. I felt the team genuinely wanted to help me find the right items for me. I unintentionally stayed 10 minutes or so after closing finalizing, yet I wasn’t rushed or guilted. Thank you very much for being courteous and helpful!

I’ve contacted Underwater Unlimited five times via phone, four times via email in order to have them simply offer me a replacement dive card for one they issued mw but is damaged. Although Francisco, is polite and nice on the phone, nobody has the authority to do anything without the owner present. The owner is never present, and nobody is calling me back, after repeated attempts to contact them. No one is responding to my emails to the company. I’d really like basic customer service and hopefully this review will help this company become more responsive to their customers. Update to response: Management could have simply called me back (5 min call) instead of spending so much time cataloging the numerous emails I’ve sent and parsing their phone call logs.

Hands down the best staff in the business. I was looking to get open water certified and I found UU on Google. I called and they let me know about an orientation that takes place before signing up for the class. This was the first sign I knew I was dealing with true professionals. I met with Javier and in that 45min orientation, I was sold this was the place I wanted to get certified with. The level of knowledge and passion Javi and his team has for Scuba is seen in the way they teach and approach the sport. I've had my fair share of academic instructors and professors, but Javi is by far the best instructor I have ever had..in any subject. He really helps you understand what you are getting into and how to avoid any accidents. I was so prepared once we started doing our pool and ocean dives. His training allowed me to dive with a sense of calmness, safety and confidence. 10/10 in every category. If you are looking to get certified, stop scrolling and just give these guys a call. I will doing many dives with this team and will eventually get all my scuba certs with Underwater Unlimited.

I just finished my Open Water certification and could not be happier with the experience. Charlie, Javi, and Alana are some of the funniest and most genuine people you will ever meet. They truly do love instructing new students and make learning about SCUBA exciting. UU also knows all of the great dive spots down here, and in the world, as Charlie has been on over 8,000 dives, which makes me feel honored to be taught by him and his group. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for painless SCUBA training sessions, great prices on gear/rentals, or people who just want some great company while on dives.

Instructors were very informed, nice, funny, and great teachers! I loved learning about all the opportunities I was opening up in my life with my scuba certification. I'm so excited to go traveling and not only get to explore the land but also the water. I highly recommend learning how to dive with Underwater Unlimited!

I can’t express how helpful and pleasant the staff at Underwater Unlimited was throughout my Open Water Certification. As a referral diver, I came in with a certain amount of paperwork and other administrative hurdles that had to be overcome. They handled it quickly and professionally, and worked with me to make sure I was prepared in every sense of the word for the dives. There was never a moment that I questioned if I was in good hands or if the staff was qualified; their knowledge and passion for the sport were very reassuring as a new diver. Underwater Unlimited made my first trip to Florida one that I won’t soon forget. Because of my time with them, I am a safer and more confident diver. I highly recommend them and their services.

I recently took my open water scuba diving certification course with Underwater Unlimited and had a great experience. Javi, Frank and the entire staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and safety-oriented. They made sure that we had a solid understanding of the equipment, procedures, and the ocean as a whole before we ever got in the water. I would definitely recommend UU to anyone who is interested in learning to scuba dive or taking their diving skills to the next level.

I completed my Open Water certification with Underwater Unlimited last spring. Charlie, Javi, and Alana made me feel comfortable, confident, knowledgeable, and excited about diving! I had such an amazing experience that I came back a few months later to complete my Advanced Open Water certification with them. They have the best dive gear in South Florida by far! Highly recommend!

I started my certification in Ohio and was planning to finish with a shop during vacation in Miami. During my certification period there were some severe weather issues but they went above and beyond to accommodate my limited time in Florida. I would highly recommend them based on this experience.
