When I am in Florida I love to visit Shooters Restaurants. My suggestion is to make reservations and I like to sit outdoors if seating is available (especially during the pandemic). You should note that when you make the reservation online. I was a little disappointed the waiters did not have on a Mask. The food was great. I had the shrimp and scallop with risotto. It was market price $30 and delicious. The portion was a little small (two shrimp and two scallop). My daughter had the Lobster roll and she was happy with her meal. I ordered the Mango punch for $13 (a little pricey) but it was good. We also had the Caribbean Flan and it was delicious.

We have eaten at the best places worldwide...Unfortunately we must have caught this place on a bad day... I guess. The host that seated us was fine. After that it went downhill a bit. Table wasn't properly cleaned. You would think as we move past a pandemic that would be a priority. The server tried but it was too late. The manager acted as if it it wasn't an issue which was concerning. Lastly the picture was their attempt at a Cobb salad where the salad dressing must have entered the witness protection program because the salad dressing was nowhere to be found...I was told it was on the bottom... really? You would think a, restaurant? With valet parking would be better. Go to Lester's diner. Clean tables good attitude and good food.

This place was definitely a vibe, the food was good 🤤the view was amazing with good background music. Definitely would recommend it for brunch day, date night, or family gathering. The view of the sunset was breathtaking. It’s a great spot to take pictures. The only reason I gave it four stars it’s because the check-in process was a kinda difficult the three girls that work at the front desk gave us an attitude it was so weird at first and also the bathroom was dirty. Our server was really nice and overall we enjoyed ourselves.

Shooters was a great experience. The entire back of the restaurant opens up so there’s a great breeze coming in off the dock to enjoy even if you’re sitting inside. Drinks were stiff and dinner was delicious. All the seafood was fresh. The lobster roll and beet salad were the highlights. The roll was soft and flaky and buttery, filled with delicious lobster chunks, and the salad had a medley of flavors and textures that complimented one another perfectly. We’ll be going again soon!

I love the ocean view. This place is really good and classy. you have to try their pudding plan! It’s sooo good. And if it’s your birthday you get a free dessert with the strawberry and chocolate. The only thing that I did not like when I went there is I still had to wait for 45 minutes to be seated even though I’ve already made a reservation. But they said that’s because it was raining before I arrived so they had to close the chairs outside, but thankfully it stop raining and we were able to get these chairs outside that has an amazing view. So I’m still giving this a five star.

Beautiful views in outside seating section. Decor is tasteful and not too distracting. I've had "coconut shrimp" at many places but I have to say this is probably in my top 3 based on taste. Every item was great and flavorful. If you don't like too much cheese then I'd recommend not getting the "$40 baked seafood pasta". If you do like cheese and seafood then order nothing else because you're in for a treat. Only issue we ran into was that the peas in the salad were really tough and did not taste like they were done. Overall a very nice place to dine and I would visit it again if ever in the area.

First time ever visiting this most talked about place. The place is beautiful! The passion fruit froze’ was decent. I ordered shrimp pasta and sushi. The sushi was fantastic but the pasta was way too salty I couldn’t eat it. Oh! let me not forget my favorite part of the menu was the pineapple upside down cake. The slice is big enough to feed 4 people and it was so delicious. I’d come back just for that cake yum 😋

Very nice place to have good time with friend or any type of celebration. The staff is very professional and kind. The menu is not very large but everything has very good quality. After dinner you can have a drink at the lounge area with views to the intercostal. It has valet parking service only for seven dollars!

My food rating is a 5 Star. But overall 4 Stars and I'll explain why. Firstly, Shooters has the BEST Calamari I've ever had. It is perfectly seasoned and fried to perfection. I really enjoyed the dipping sauce and the scallion garnish. The Godzilla sushi roll was very fresh and tasty, presented beautifully. Cajun shrimp pasta Alfredo was INCREDIBLE. Pasta was cooked perfectly, shrimp was tender and delicious. Our service was great ( new girl from Texas!) and we were seated outside. My complaint is the Water Taxi situation. It can be very noisy and disruptive, it brings all kinds of rift raft and seems like ever 5 minutes someone from the staff is yelling at boaters to "slow down" it realky does take away from the experience unfortunately. But bravo otherwise 👏

I went to for a last min birthday celebration brunch. It's obviously a special occasion kind of place. The mussels, The fried calamari and Oysters was a fresh starter and the quality is in the flavor and texture. The place was busy, but you can see why, because of the service you receive. Our waitress Sandie was beyond amazing! Needless to say everyone loved the food. We had a great experience with great atmosphere by the water. Absolutely recommend.

Beautiful restaurant inside and out. Service was good. Our waitress (Vicky, I think) was fantastic. Food was delicious. Vegetarian friendly but not vegan friendly. Outside patio is gorgeous and right on the intercoastal. It was hot but then they turned on the fans which made it very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

This might be my favorite restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale! Our server, Hector, was so sweet. He made great recommendations and was hilarious. The food was great! The Cajun pasta didn’t last but 2 minutes it was so good.

This is my second time visiting Shooters Waterfront. I was visiting Fort Lauderdale again & also brought my mother along for Mother’s Day. I love the vibe and ambiance here. Watching boats while eating lunch is a fun time. I highly recommend taking the Water Taxi to get here and back. For the food, I recommend the Calamari & whichever is the chef specialty for the day. They have really good soups and appetizers!

You have reputation of the view which never fails and you will have decent food. Shawn was a good server. The service was great. I think I may have counted six make up/ food/ dirt marks on the front and back of my menu… I felt like I needed to wash my hands! Bathroom was out of toilet paper, paper towels, water and soap all over the sink area …nothing new, except it wasn’t as busy as it usually is for Sunday brunch so the state of the restroom is inexcusable. It also isn’t appetizing while you’re waiting for your food and bussers are walking around with food in their empty bus bins that you can see into, and the bins are placed on the chairs where we sit while they clear the tables. Valet should’ve been complimentary if you’re eating there. The DJ repeated the same names for birthdays , I felt like we were playing a memory game of every birthday in the house ! We will be back for a quick bite if convenient but the value is declining at this establishment. You pay for the few and the decent food. The patio would have been nice if we had some fans as well.

There is a reason why Shooters has been around for so long. The food is absolutely delicious, the ambience is beautiful (can't go wrong with that location), and the service is a 10/10. I got my food within ten minutes .. every single order. I ordered the jumbo lump crab cake and bit into it before I could take a pic. The lentil soup was also delicious. I'll be back over and over again.

We had a great experience. The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the service was outstanding. The drinks were excellent and the food was cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this restaurant as one of the best in its class. It's definitely worth a visit!

We went for a special occasion. Valet parking was good value and easy in and out. The lollipop lamb chops were delicious and they had the best smoked fish dip I've ever had. I didn't have the nerve to sample oysters like my friends, but they couldn't get enough.

Awesome place on the water for chilled seafood, cocktails, great wine list. Loved the shrimp salad. Oysters were incredible. Super fresh and served with all the fixings. Our server was attentive and kind. There is also a dock for the water taxi on the patio, making this super accessible by boat. 100% reccomend and will be back!

The company I work for hosted our Christmas lunch here; the venue was gorgeous. Outstanding service - the staff is very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. Something I really appreciated was their choice of mocktails. I love seeing more restaurants incorporate nonalcoholic choices on their menu. I would love to return with my friends; maybe to host a birthday or just to hang out.

This place was super cute, with seating outside along the waterfront. The water taxi has a port here as well. Service was a tad slow, but that was just an exercise in relaxing and letting go and enjoying the ambiance and atmosphere. Everyone is laid back, and the drinks were pretty good. The fish and chips and fish tacos were really fresh and delicious, and the cheese & fruit board was way bigger than I expected and was quite good, with an ample serving of 4 cheeses, large bunches of grapes, blueberries, strawberries, breads, crackers, and even a honeycomb oozing with light colored honey. Highly recommend if you're looking for a laid back and delicious experience.

We were looking for a great place to have brunch and shooters did not disappoint at all. The service was exceptional from the front staff, to servers, waiters/tress and bartenders. The buffet selection was worth the value. Everything tasted so delicious, we all agreed that Shooters is a must visit when we're back in Fort Lauderdale. We went early on a Sunday since we could not get reservations but luckily we were seated right away. Initially we requested to be seated on the patio but it got too hot outside and we eventually moved to the bar seating. The view on the patio was calming and about five boats passed by and an hour's time. We left lamenting on the great experience.

This is the second time going for my birthday. First it was dinner and second brunch. The menu was to die for. They had waffles, eggs, sausages, ham slices, fruits, desserts and their bottomless mimosas were to die for. It can get a bit crowded on weekends so if your looking for something low key and private this would not be the place. The view is amazing tho, overlooking the water. Love love love it. Would definitely recommend.

We were a party of 8 with several people visiting from Belgium. Our outdoor table had a view of the intracoastal and boats going by. The food was delicious. Cocktails were delicious. The menu has something for everyone. I intended to take more pictures, but we were too busy catching up!

Shooters is beautiful with the ambiance of elegance. It's nice to have a view of the waterway and the yachts. The food was delicious and the service was fast and super friendly. This is a great date spot or hangout with friends. I highly recommend!

We had the best waiter! Nic, we love you! This was a great experience eating by the waterway. I’d definitely recommend this place for the food, ambiance and service. We had an issue outside with some bees and they quickly accommodated us inside with the same great views.

It was my friend's/church sister's birthday 🎉. The place was packed. Thank goodness she reserved her table a couple of weeks in advance. Everyone enjoyed their food 😋! I had a loaded salad 🥗 & shrimp 🍤. It was grrreat! I ended up eating it for 2 more days - big portion. I'm giving them 4 1/2 stars⭐ - our Server was very courteous, & even brought my friend a birthday dessert 🎂. Only one advice for the manager/owner, please keep it to a minimum, we are still in a pandemic. Overall, great food & service 👏!

Great service. Food was good. I got the swordfish which was the special. It was great. My wife got the scallops and shrimp. She said my meal was much better. I also got an Old Fashioned. It was just ok. If you do go, definitely get the flan.

It was good...But sitting was uncomfortable.Love the location Near water sitting was not very comfortable. Bathrooms were messed. Inside sitting was good but outside around the water it was not high end. But view was scenic and good for photographs.. Cocktail was quit good but the way of serving wasn't high end. You can enjoy the weather near water. Good for couples. Not a expensive place..$$ They've to concentrate on sitting and cleanliness. Rest everything was good. Staff was humble and friendly.

Everything was great. Starting with the hostesses, the food, the atmosphere. Our server Meredith went above and beyond to make sure we surprise our friend for her birthday!!! She was professional, attentive and knowleadgeable. Will definitely be back and we’ll ask for her!!! The views are amazing and loved the sushi roll Godzilla and the St Louis Ribs!

The restaurant is located down by the waterfront. It was beautifully decorated for the winter. The service was wonderful, the ambiance was absolutely gorgeous. The food was to die for. We had lamb chops which were very well seasoned and tender, coconut shrimp and snapper. For desert, I had the pineapple upside down cake which was the best I ever had, my girlfriend had the key lime baked Alaska which she said was delicious.

  • 5/5 Eric E. 1 year ago on Google
The location on the Intercoastal Way is great. The atmosphere is amazing. Staff are very friendly, efficient, & professional. I had one of the best lobster rolls that I've ever had here. The rest of my party enjoyed everything they had. Portions & prices were on par. Parking is free across the street in the garage during most days & hours. We just stumbled upon this restaurant while on vacation in the area, and we'll be back to it for sure in the future. Highly recommend.

My first time here for dinner. The atmosphere is lovely outside. I ordered the coconut shrimp, Shooters cheeseburger with fries and a Tito's lemonade. My daughter said the burger was very good, but the coconut shrimps I had was very bland. Wasn't given a flavor of coconut. The shrimp came with a mango sauce that was terrible. Some of my family members ordered the honey glazed chicken & was very satisfied. My cousin ordered steak & oysters. Sent the steak back because it was cold. I give this location 4 out of 10 My friends told me that Shooters is known for their brunch. The waitress we had was awesome, with great customer service skills. I'll be back to try their burch.

Room for Improvement at Shooters Restaurant During my recent visit to Shooters Restaurant, I had the opportunity to experience both the highs and lows of this waterfront dining establishment. The host exhibited an exemplary level of hospitality, ensuring our comfort by accommodating us with the best available table offering a stunning view. This thoughtfulness truly set a positive tone for our dining experience. Our server mirrored this level of service by being incredibly polite and attentive. However, his inability to make food recommendations did take away slightly from the overall service experience. Unfortunately, the food served did not quite match up to the impressive setting and service. The burgers lacked distinct flavor and left much to be desired. Similarly, the fish dish was dry and underwhelming in taste. The wings were dry and very sweet. The cabbage salad did not go qith the fish and the sauce it had. The sushi was ok. On a more positive note, the dessert was excellent. It was fresh, tasty, and provided a sweet ending to our meal. The restaurant's most remarkable attribute is undoubtedly its fantastic view. However, it's clear that Shooters could potentially attract many more patrons if their menu was revamped with more flavorful and enticing dishes. During our visit, half of the restaurant was unoccupied. This could possibly be due to the lack of a signature dish that would motivate guests to specifically choose this venue for dining. In summary, while Shooters Restaurant has the key elements of a successful establishment - a welcoming team, attentive service, and a fantastic location - there is room for significant improvement in their culinary offerings. With enhancements in this area, Shooters has the potential to greatly increase its clientele and create a more vibrant dining atmosphere. It's my hope that this constructive critique will prompt positive changes that will elevate the overall dining experience at Shooters.

This restaurant was a recommendation from a friend. I was solo but made reservations for a table and online only had 2+ so I said two. I got there and told them it was just me and she said I could sit at the bar. I don’t mind that but I really wanted a table but I could tell they didn’t want me taking a table so I just saw myself to the bar. The bartenders were super sweet and helpful with helping me figure what to order from the menu (I wanted everything! ) ended up with tuna tartarte for a starter and then the Szechuan (spelling) shrimp salad and omg the flavors of both were outstanding! Great location for a date night, business meeting or hey even a solo traveler who likes good food!

Service was very good at the beginning but then the waitress forgot about us. The food was extremely rich. Everything have tons of butter and very creamy. The seafood pasta was very rich and creamy. The clam chowder had bacon. The cashew crusted mahi suppose to come with sticky rice but it was regular white rice. The environment was very nice.

Stopped here while riding the water taxi. We didn’t have to wait even though it was Sunday brunch crowd. We had the delicious calamari, brunch buttermilk fried chicken, fish and chips (Mahi mahi) and the seafood omelette. Food was great and so was the service!

We went for the happy hour. The happy hour menu had great options. I had the fish dip and BIG cocktail shrimp. The hubs had not too sweet and not too saucy wings and calamari...I de-breaded the calamari and they were also big and substantial. The waterfront view is lovely. Lots of indoor/outdoor dining options. I'm partial to the hidden local gems but enjoyed this trendy popular location. The valet parking was only $7. See attached photos

This is definitely a hot spot, very popular. The restaurant is large, airy and the view of the intracoastal makes the visit worthwhile. If you cannot sit outside due to lack of availability, ask for a seat in the lower deck. I would recommend the guava chili wings appetizer and the glazed salmon entree. The seafood bake was flavorful but maybe ask for lighter on the cheese..that would have been our preference. They offer seasonal sorbets. We had the berry sorbet for a simple yet refreshing end to the meal.

The food was delicious, Kaylee was great. I went here for my birthday and it was a great experience. The bottomless mimosas and food was great. Our server Kaylee was so friendly, gave me a nice desert and sang for my birthday. She always had my glass full and was never more than a few minutes from coming back to the table. Overall Kaylee makes me want to come back. Such a great ambiance as well. I had to edit to add. Get the max and cheese and the fried chicken on the brunch menu. It was so good.
