If I could give this place a 0, I would. I'll start with the positives: the bar had good drinks, the food from the bar was also good and the view from our room was nice. However, there are too many negatives to outweigh the positives to give this place even a 2 star review. 1. The bathroom light in our room repeatedly went out and had to be fixed by maintenance the entire weekend. 2. The staff were not friendly in any way, except for the woman that worked the front desk of the coffee/snack area. After that, everyone that we came into contact with was extremely rude and not helpful. The bartender at the bar in the pool complained about making a drink that we ordered. 3. My wife is Type 1 Diabetic and her blood sugar was low, for those of you that know this turns into a life or death situation very quickly. I went to the front desk, asked for a simple Sprite and offered to pay, but I was refused and told that they could not sell me one. This is completely ridiculous and unnecessary for someone to refuse something so simple in the event of a medical emergency, I was infuriated. 4. On top of the Sprite situation, the closest place to walk to was 15 minutes away. There is 0 room service and there is not a single vending machine in sight. Why would the phones have a room service button if that is not something that is offered? If you aren't going to offer room service or have the lobby store open, why aren't there vending machines? 5. There were laundry bags left in our room, but then when we asked about the service the front desk worker, who also refused me the Sprite, said that it is not a service that they offer. 6. We called Sunday to extend our checkout to 1pm, we had 3 rooms total in the hotel and each time we called we received a different answer from the person on the phone. One caller said they received this extension for $0 till 1pm, one said the extension was free until 12pm and every hour after was $25, the last one said that the extension was free until 11:30 and then $25 after that. To build onto that, there is no communication between the front desk and the maid staff as they knocked on our door multiple times to ask when we were getting out. I'd have rather them told us we were not able to extend and that we would have to get out. I typically have good stays at Hiltons, and as someone who travels to the area frequently, I will NEVER stay here again after how my family and I were treated. I do not know how a hotel functions with this level of incompetence and lack of professionalism. The front desk worker who prevented me from helping my wife and risked her health because "he can't do that" should be fired. I would recommend taking your money and spending it at any other hotel in South Florida.

Where do I even begin. I would first like to say that our check in time was at 4 pm which is stated on the website. Around 3:15 pm we were told that our room would be ready before 4 pm. When 4 pm hit, with no word on how our room was doing, we went to the front desk again. We were then told it would only be a few minutes after 4 pm and then we would get our room. We ended up waiting until 5:30 pm before getting our room. We sat on the floor, with our luggage for 1.5 hours. It was ridiculous. On top of that, one of the two rooms we booked was completely dirty; there were peanuts and wrappers littering the ground. This took extra time to be switched. As well, we never once received new towels, and when we asked, it took two hours to get any at all. At 8 am, one morning, we were awoken by someone entering our room. We are two young girls, and we were incredibly scared to have someone entering our bedroom. Turns out this was housekeeping, however, entering a room without knocking or without a sign encouraging entry, it just not acceptable. On top of all of this, they double charged us Also, our bathroom door was off its hinges. Moreover, we will not be staying here again.

The location of this hotel is really nice, some of the rooms and the pool are right along the Waterway. The pool was warm and a definite plus. As lifetime diamond members, we were upgraded to a great room in the east wing. The restaurant and bar were very nice, and they had some awesome drinks on Happy Hour...think Espresso Martini 😀. My only problem, unfortunately, was the front desk. They added charges to our bill that were supposed to be covered by our daily credit. They did take them off, but we had to stand in line and request that they be removed. It just shouldn't happen in the first place. I would still recommend this hotel if you are headed out on a cruise, or just want a relaxing room on the water.

The hotel itself is nice. The service though is not Hilton level. At the pool I asked for more towels 3 guys where standing guard and got nasty when I asked. I asked for more shampoo the hotel kept me going in loops to get some. My son asked for spoons the lobby gave him one and refused more. A stranger had to stand up for him. Very petty. Some staff are really nice but you feel like management is telling them to be very petty and conserve. This is not the Hilton experience.

This place isn’t a four star hotel, don’t be fooled by the pictures. 1) It’s just a port of call for cruisers, and the resort caters to the type. 2) Pool chairs are all taken by 9 am by people putting towels down and going off. Management indicated (manager on duty is Niko) there is nothing they will do about it, quote by the front desk Kelvin “you are on your own out there”. 3) Doesn’t matter what room you select ahead of time, we were assigned a handicapped room and the shower and bathroom was just drenched with water and towels all of the time. We had a regular King room when we selected. 4) construction - the place is in shambles and you have to go through construction zones and boarded up hallways to get to your room if in any of the wings. 5) be ready to pay for 4$ iced coffees with no lids, and wait in line 20-30 minutes for a beer by the pool bar. We ended up going to the spa and Marriott beach resort for meals, spa and pool. This place is quite frankly a waste of money. Enter canned management reply about taking concerns seriously:

Overall, a solid 4 star hotel. The bed area was clean and the bathroom was okay. I did spot some hair on the toilet seat. It was easily cleaned off but still, you'd expect to not spot any hair on the toilet seat. The shower was amazing and the sink worked as it should. The huge bathroom mirror was clean and it lights up the bathroom very well. The bed was very comfy. The room's AC was excellent but it was loud it turns on. The TV does it's job. The hotel employees are very friendly and super helpful. The outside is great. The pool is a nice place to cool off. The only downside is the quality of the boxes sandwiches in the hotel. I would NOT recommend it. Even if you're super hungry. SAVE your money and just get something from a few blocks away. The sandwiches are not good especially for the price. Paid $20 for the sandwich, chips and drink combo. There are places to eat. You can walk 15 minutes to restaurants near by or just drive there. Quite convenient! Overall, the hotel and hotel rooms are a solid 4 out of 5.

My husband and I had a wonderful time and a positive experience at this hotel. We had a tower room which was very clean and well maintained. The view from our room out to the marina was beautiful. All staff members we encountered were courteous and helpful. The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from several restaurants and shops which was very nice and convenient. The hotel is also on the water taxi stop so it was nice to be able to access the water taxi from the hotel. I would stay here again and recommend to friends and family! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

I'll start with the good stuff. The room was clean upon arrival. The pool area was nice and also clean. The view overlooking the marina was beautiful. The hotel was in walking distance to the convention center. Now the bad stuff. There was only one functioning elevator in the whole hotel building that we stayed in. Unfortunately it was the service elevator. Both guest elevators were out of service. We had to walk from one end of the building to the other in order to take the elevator. That is NOT A GOOD DAY when someone has a torn meniscus and they are trying to get around. At the very least the hotel should of notified us so that we could have been given a room that was better for my physical condition. The rooms are in need of some repairs. The shower handle was in disrepair and the carpet needs to be cleaned. It was filthy. Prices for just a cup of coffee were so outrageous that the $15 per day benefit really doesn't do much.

They charged an extra 30$+tax per day for services they only put on a piece of paper in the room that said 'for 30$ a day you can take advantage of shuttles to the beach, 20$ food and drink credit.'. Not you are being charged for this stuff even if you don't use it .. I didn't even receive waters every day in the room. 3 nights ..101$... And this was on top of the amount I was charged for the room. So a 3 night stay was supposed to be almost 600$ was almost 900$ instead. I feel scammed and taken advantage of for sure.

The rooms were nice and clean. They seemed to be recently renovated. That was the extend of my positive thoughts on the hotel. The room service scenario is so very poor. All I wanted was a bagel and a pot of coffee delivered to the room. You call room service and they direct you to the QR code. Fine I went through to order online and they have no options to order coffee under the breakfast menu. No coffee! So I have to get dressed and walk to the lobby coffee shop if I want coffee with my room service. Defeats the purpose. In Addition if you ever want anything or have questions you have to walk to the front desk- you can not call up there because no one will answer. When you do talk to someone at the front desk they are unfriendly and of no help whatsoever. There has been trash left outside our room on the ground for a couple of days before it was picked up. We were at the restaurant one night where they seemed understaffed because it took us over an hour for our food. The hotel is clean and updated but you really are stuck and on your own. Customer service and amenities are nil.

Got to the hotel and they didn’t had the room I requested. They gave me a completely different room without the view, as I requested. Couldn’t order to my room from the app for the entire stay cause the web app wouldn’t allow me. You call to the front desk from the room phone and nobody answers. You call to the room service phone, nobody answers… Tried to get a Diet Coke, and they didn’t have any in the hotel. Tried to get seltzer… they didn’t have any… horrible from the beginning. Room was dirty. Hairs in the bathroom sink. Hand towel stained with lipstick. There’s bugs in the bathroom too. The suitcase holder was broken. A screw from the thing was missing. Couldn’t use it. DO NOT eat at the hotel, I repeat DO NOT eat at the hotel. Food price is doubled for similar dishes around the area and it is really bad quality food… All they offer are apologies… but what do I do with that? Guys… apologizing does not solve the problem… really bad bad stay at this hotel. Never coming back nor recommending it.

Welcome at reception terrific. HOWEVER.. resort daily fee at $30 is compulsory ???? While it may be good value you need to understand that it is use it or lose it regardless of whether beach shuttle, beach towels, 2 bottles of water or $20 food credit is used. We paid in full for our room via Celebrity Cruises as our travel agent. Not explained at booking or at reception check in ☹️ Room in good order very clean, linen and towels wonderful. Looking forward to a good sleep ready for the cruise shuttle in the morning. ( best value option as uber $35 estimate for 2 of us ) Quality of bar snack good …..though pricey once tax and service added to a £/$ ☹️exchange rate.

I had a horrible experience at this Hilton. I was there for a wedding of a family member. From the check in things were ridiculous. I was told that a hold for the whole amount of my stay was going to have to be done on my card. I was never told this nor have I ever experienced this any other time I have stayed at a hotel. I was also then hit with an additional $75.00 for plus a $30.00 resort fee. I have no idea what that entailed. Then on the way to the room that I was assigned it smelled like sour sitting water. There were sandbags in the hall and construction going on. Then the room had a broken toilet that would not flush. I had to have maintenance up 3 times and it still was not completely fixed. Then the power went out. There was no cable and no phone. This took place while getting ready for a wedding. Then after I complained and only after i was assigned a new room. So then I had to move rooms and missed some of the events prior to the wedding because I was moving. Then the elevators were not working. There was no power and only one seemed to come all the way down to the lobby. Then there was a sliding scale of prices. Each day it seems I paid more and more. This Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina was horrible. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. They ruined what otherwise should have been a great experience and have offered nothing to compensate or even apologize. JUST AWFUL!!!

The hotel is extremely over priced for the property. You’re basically paying for the pool area and the entrance of the hotel. The room itself is very outdated. I felt very uncomfortable sleeping in the bed so I went out and got my own linen to be on the safe side and sanitized the whole room myself. The breakfast is buffet style it was okay and there wasn’t many options. But I at least appreciate that it was free. I’m regards to parking you can either do valet or self park. It’s like $5 cheaper to self park. The staff themselves were very friendly. I would personally never stay at this hotel again.

I gave this a 2 star review for a couple reasons. the day we arrived the only lunch option was served was a make shift setup in the ballrooms. I assume this was due to the rain, which is fine, but the service just wasn’t great. we ordered a cesar salad and fish tacos (came with 2) and it came to $70. I assume this is why they offer the $20 f&b credit, because the breakfast also came to $75. No water bottles were supplied any day like advertised. tough to justify the $30/day resort fee as I would consider this a bare minimum resort. not in the most convenient location if you like to walk places, so definitely take that into consideration. Overall, the hotel is self was okay, fairly clean, and decent rooms. Just certainly not worth the money, there are better options out there.

It’s a Hilton hotel. What else needs to be said? However, my niece and her friend were staying in a different part of the hotel where the parking lot is located and we’re stuck in the elevator for 20 minutes or so and I didn’t get to see that side of the the hotel. The area where my room was is awesome. I think that I was under the rain shower for at least an hour. The staff are extremely friendly, and accommodating. Everyone from valet to house keeping are top notch. Because of the renovations I couldn’t find a parking space one night and the valet ( I don’t want to say his name so he doesn’t get in trouble) parked my car in valet parking. I was charged for self parking which is what I paid for. The people here are awesome. If I had to complain about something it would be that they are WAY to good at taking care of their guests. Well done everyone!

I'm a Hilton honors member and this hotel is okay. The rooms could use some touch-ups and I wasn't necessarily thrilled with the layout -- on the small side, my opinion. However, service was top notch. Nick at check-in was so professional and was even able to add a night easily, despite a huge tournament happening at the same time and me not having luck calling reservations. Then Chris, one of the servers at the restaurant. He was great. We almost ordered the first night but changed our minds. The second time I came, he was so patient and even gave an extra perk. We came back later that evening for another meal and he remembered us and got us our meal and things quickly. The hotel is across the street at the convention center which is an active construction site but it is close. Also, there are some active upgrades to the hotel too, so it takes away from the usual Hilton experience. If we had to stay here again, okay, but not the first preference.

This Hotel was very resort like, food was good, location was great. About 13 minutes from the airport and 6 minutes from the convention center. Food is walking distance (10-20 minutes). Walgreens nearby. Staff was very nice. Fixed any issues within a reasonable time. I would stay here again for sure! Only downfall was the elevator was not working the entire weekend, there for not accessible for those in wheelchairs.

I was here for a convention at the convention center across the way. I really enjoyed this hotel. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom has a nice walk-in shower. The coffee maker is hidden in a drawer below the TV. I saw another comment state there isn’t one. It’s there, you just have to look. I sent the hotel a few messages through the app and they were very responsive. I had pizza in the restaurant one night and it was delicious! Drinks are a little overpriced, but that’s normal for Hilton. I loved the view of the cruise ships from the room. It was cool seeing all the yachts lined up next to the hotel. I’d stay here if I was looking for a personal trip.

Given my tendency to stay in Hilton hotels and it's proximity to the Broward County Convention Center, I stayed here. Situated on a marina, it seemed like an easy decision until I arrived. At any one time there was one person at the front desk, regardless of size of the line forming. Staff was nice but clearly overwhelmed due to short staffing. It appears that the hotel was recently renovated... poorly. Lots of shoddy work and loose fixtures. Our room had a prominent mildew smell as well. The "marina view" we paid extra for faced bushes and trees with a glimpse of some boats on the right side. I had a package shipped here, which I strongly recommend against. Security staff doubles as mail couriers and takes awhile to find and deliver packages. Still got charged for the service of course. As a diamond member I didn't get any waters, because I was there for a conference which still dumbfounds me. Looking past all that, the nearby elevator didn't work, so you had to walk a very long way to the elevator at the end of the building if you didn't want to huff your luggage up the stairs. Certainly will not be coming back.

One of the nicest rooms I’ve ever stayed in. We were scheduled for a regular room and got upgraded to a king corner suite. Our view of the marina and wraparound deck were amazing. My only complaint was the lack of places to eat. The only restaurant on site was a small bar w limited choices. Also no breakfast options to speak. They were hosting a hot breakfast in one of the salons, but it was super expensive. That didn’t stop us from absolutely loving this hotel. Would definitely come back.

The physical hotel itself was nice and clean. However, the front desk staff were incompetent. I was checked in by someone who was in training with no supervision. After letting him know I drove my own car to the hotel, I had to remind him at the end to give me the parking pass + tell me where to park. He said to park across the street (pay to park parking lot and not connected to the Hilton property) which sounded weird to me so I made sure by asking him “Across the street?” And he replied saying yes. I thought it was for hotel guests/non guests and that it would be fine since I had the Hilton parking pass. A few hours later I return to my car to find a parking ticket. I let the front desk know and one of the managers said she couldn’t pay the ticket even though I got it because of their fault, but that she would credit me the parking fee for 2 nights. I asked if I had to show anything that would corroborate what she told me and she said no. When I go to check out in the next few days, the parking fee was on my balance ($80, $40 per day). I let the employee that was checking me out, Kevin, know of the situation and what the manager said she would do and there was no proof of the manager crediting me the parking fee on the system. This was already ridiculous to me because I specifically asked the manager if I had to show anything that the parking was credited, and she said no, but there was no notes on the system of same. Kevin was rude and offered no help at all. He advised he would take off one night’s parking fee and the other one, the manager would call me later in the day and we would get it figured out. Kevin went to the back, and came back outside again to tell me “Actually never mind, you’re going to have to pay both nights”. At this point, I was furious because a few minutes prior, he advised he would credit at least one night’s fee and the other one, the manager would call me (which was still ridiculous). I told him I wasn’t going to pay 2 nights fee + a parking ticket and that I was getting told 3 different things from Hilton employees and all he said not verbatim was, “this is the final balance, you will have to pay both night’s parking fee”. I asked to speak to the other manager on duty (Briana), and she was nice enough to take off all the fees. She was super nice and helpful. Briana is the only one with a brain at this Hilton location. If you’re checking in and a person who’s name tag says “Trainee”, ask for someone else to check you in! I wouldn’t stay here again.

Stayed 7 nights in the King intra coastal room with a balcony. The hotel and room was clean The view was beautiful. The bed was so comfortable. The staff was great, always willing to help with anything you needed. The grounds were well kept and someone was always there setting up furniture or maintaining the ground. The Water Taxi was just out the front door and a short distance down the street. We used the taxi several times each day. Other restaurants and store just down the street. We had a wonderful time and would stay here again.

Nice staff. Overall my 3 night stay was decent. My room view was spectacular. They upgraded me to a balcony view which was very kind. The food menu is limited and it was OK- nothing special and they need more options and need to update it on the website- a little misleading. Didn’t try the breakfast but appreciated that they had it anyway. But lunch /dinner was only available to order at the pool bar and it wasn’t much. Mostly bar food. Pool was nice and towels conveniently available. Valet and construction were definitely inconvenient . Pricing a little too high when you can just park your own car same distance but it’s a bigger mission to find a spot. Big construction deal downstairs in lobby but they have it decently managed temporarily. Room was humid, fridge small but worked. TV great- but remote stopped working for a while- had to unplug and take out batteries and restart it all. They do need a microwave in the rooms. I had cold leftovers and it wasn’t great. Ice machine on my floor did not work- not even a sign was displayed- had to go up or down a floor each time to get ice which was annoying. There was drunk people in the lobby and an ambulance came- one lady started talking to me in the elevator asking me if I was her nanny- and it looked like she was with hotel staff - not sure if they were helping her or what. She was obliterated and it would’ve been appreciated if the staff with her maybe handled her better or told her I was NOT the nanny after she asked 5 times. Thought she was going to maybe attack me from behind in the elevator. Very awkward and uncomfortable. But this wasn’t the hotels fault ultimately. No judgment but there was some rowdy crowds walking in and out of the hotel daily. Appreciated the room view and the kindness of the staff ultimately.

So my wife and I checked in about midnight on a Friday. The line was short, the staff was nice, got our card for the room... We reserved a king-size bed, a marina-facing, with a balcony. We walked into a room with two beds facing a freeway. I went down to the front desk and asked what the mix-up was about, "We're overbooked. Try again in the morning and see if we can get your requested room.' No problem, it was late went to bed around 2 am, then woke up to the construction that was being performed outside the window, the one facing the freeway... I have brushed off again when I requested the room I reserved over a month and a half ago. We checked out, made a few inquiries regarding a complimentary or discount on the room. The manager has still yet to return any phone calls.

We made a reservation to stay with our travel agent through Southwest vacations. We specifically chose this location because of the beautiful views of the marina. The room we booked was supposed to be a king size bed, high floor and view of the marina. The day before check-in we called the hotel to let them know due to the lateness of our flight we would not be arriving until around midnight. When we arrived at the hotel a little before midnight we were told that due to our late arrival they didn’t have the room type of that we booked. We were given a low level floor and no view of the marina. We were told that there was no manager on duty and that we could see someone about it tomorrow. We were offered no compensation as we did not stay in the room type we paid for. The next morning we were told that they could put us in a higher level floor with a view of the marina as booked but we had to move all of our stuff out of the room, check out, and that our new room would not be ready until about 4 o’clock. Again, we were not offered anything for our inconvenience and we did not have a room all day to change in or to use the pool facilities. When we changed to the second room, we did have a beautiful view of the harbor. However we were at the end of the hallway right next to the construction on the hotel. There was also a dog in the room next to us barking loudly all night. Also, unless you request housekeeping each day, they only visit every other. The line at the front desk was no less than six people deep each day with 1 to 2 desk clerks on duty, which made things very inconvenient when you had to wait in line for your two free water bottles a day where to ask a question about something in the area. The hotel advertisers that they have a free beach shuttle. The shuttle leaves at 9 o’clock in the morning and 1 o’clock anyway. The first shuttle back is 1:30 in the afternoon. However, after waiting for a ride back, we finally called the hotel front desk to find out where the shuttle was as it was 10 minutes late. Then explain that it’s a third-party car serviced at rent a shuttle and that they would send a shuttle and it would be about 20 minutes before they arrived even after it was already 10 minutes late. The only good thing about this hotel is the view of the marina and that’s if you’re lucky enough to have a room with a high enough view. Terrible customer service!

The restaurants left us dubious, all they had in the hotel was a Greek restaurant and a very limited snack bar by the pool for a couple hours a day. We are not Greek and we do not like Greek food did not even know how to pronounce stuff on the menu, so it was very disappointing. Breakfast was even worse it was a buffet for $30 a person a cup of coffee was $5. Normally these services for folks to stay in the hotels are free but not the case here. The buffet was like any typical Motel 6 Buffet you might get. Nothing special about it actually, I never ate it because it looked so nasty. The rooms, could have used a little TLC. The tiki bar which the platform is still there for is no longer there. In the ad it shows that it is there which was kind of disappointing because we were looking forward to it. Apparently they have no plans to rebuild it once torn down they decided to just leave the platform. In retrospect all the porters were excellent they were on you like flies on poop. You never carried a suitcase you never loaded anything they walked into your room and unloaded you. I found it very refreshing. They certainly could have used a few more cashiers at check-in because the lines were extremely long which seems ridiculous to me at a hotel of this caliber there were empty spots open but there were no people running them. The store located inside the hotel (blue ocean )is outrageous in prices. If you expect to get your $20 credit per day off there forget it it's not owned by the company. A toothbrush and a tube of toothpaste was $18.

My family and I stayed at this hotel twice, once the day before a cruise and once after the cruise. The 2 star review is considering the cost that we paid for the hotel. The room that we stayed in the first night had several hand rails in the shower. On each side of the hand rail there is a cover that covers the screws into the wall. Several of the covers had detached and were left hanging on the rail as shown in the photo. On the second room, the shampoo was out before we even used it. At $400 / night, I should not have encountered either of those issues. Additionally, neither room had towel bars next to the sink. The sliding door was loud in the first room. The first room had one queen bed shoved all the way into the corner so that walls were touching 2 out of the 4 sides (second room was fine). On floor 21 or 22, the door leading to the ice machine was stuck and had to be gently body slammed to open. As for the pros, the bedding was comfortable and it had a decent view on the higher floors. We stayed at the hotel because it was close to the cruise terminal, but it's probably still too far to walk if you have a lot of luggage. So you'll probably end up taking a car anyway. At which point, being 1/2 mile away or 4 miles away won't really matter. And you might as well stay at a place that gives you better value for your money and is well maintained. Also, you need to walk at least half a mile to get good food.

Got in 3 hours before normal check-in, for $25 I was able to get a room immediately. That's a win. Then I asked how to get to the pool bar, she pointed towards the exit and no pool bar! Lady selling drinks under a tent (she was good tho). Pool bar gone. Pool full of kids, zero relaxing. Walked town to the main channel corner, with the tent lady drink, and sat watching the crazy boat traffic. Repeat like 3 times and then dinner at 15th st. Fisheries which was great. In the morning, the two items available in the gym were broke (out of 5) and the line for coffee or anything else at 8 am was literally 45 minutes. Great location but will not stay here again.

It takes a bit to get me to rate this low, but I was left with no choice unfortunately. Having traveled quite often to every mid to upscale hotels I decided to try this Hilton out because of its convenience for our cruise. The customer service was by far the worst I’d ever experienced in all my years of dealing with hotels and traveling. Small town run down motels have better customer service than this Hilton. They truly need to revamp the entire theory and style of customer service here or the new Disney hotel will absolutely crush them within a year or two once opened.

I think the issue with this hotel is customer service and this LATE CHECK IN FEE NONSENSE. They wanted to charge us $25 for wanting to check in around 3pm even though the room was ready. I could say more but I won’t. Customer service here makes you feel like some random number. Hotel outside area is lovely. Room was nice but the bathroom needs some remodelling. View of the river is great, comfortable bedding, nice remodel of the bedroom. Loved the outside balcony.

hotel is nice and clean, however room cleaning service works upon request. Employees are nice but somehow you don’t feel like Hilton, I don’t but something is missing. Even though our stay was great, room view was amazing, rooms are updated and food is good.

Firstly,my husband is a Diamond member and used his points for myself and a friend to get away for one night. The hotel us under construction but still pretty! However..to our shock,we had to pay $35 for parking(seriously?) And an extra $75 for hotel fees,incidentals,etc.. $20 for shuttle service. Just seems like SO many extras. Will not go back. Staff was pleasant but at check in,we were charged $25 for noon time check in and clerk was rude.

Rooms are pretty hot with the full in room AC units. Service was pretty solid. The breakfast is huge, service at breakfast is good to go. Service at the restaurant was awesome, food is not all that great, in my opinion. Limited menu, super limited. Location is AWESOME.

I stay at this property quite often for work and I really enjoy it. The pool area is gorgeous and the rooms are nice, some of the rooms have been recently remodeled. The rooms are always clean and it is very close to the cruise ship terminal if you are going on a cruise, you can walk across the bridge and be at the beach in 20 to 30 minutes or you can go the other direction and have an abundance of food options within just a few minutes. The only downside is the price of food at the hotel, I normally have to venture off Because even just getting a burger fry and some Diet Coke is over $40 which is ridiculous when you can get it right down the street for less than half of that, that’s really only the negative thing I have to say

Nice Hotel very clean and beautiful dining restaurant. Although… be sure to lock away any items in your room! I forgot two bracelets in my room after check… I got a text confirmation and a telephone stating that they had retrieved my bracelets. When I went back the following day to pick them up, they magically disappeared again. Housekeeping is not to be trusted. Be careful with your personal items.

We came here with a group of disabled Veterans from all over the state for our annual lobster dives on 8/14. The hotel is awesome! Everything is new and clean. The staff is professional and friendly. You can't beat the location either :)

Beware of the $20 food/beverage voucher for the Sea & Olive Restaurant. They will ask you for your room number at hotel to run your voucher for and will then ask you for a credit card to pay right then. It ended up that I got the hotel to honor the voucher and promised all was settled. The next day, I see a charge on my credit card. I called the hotel and spoke with Tia ( a manager) who stated she would research and call me back. No return phone call. I left a message for a manager ( Mr Ricky) at Sea & Olive. Still no return call. I have contacted my bank who will open a case for the charge.

Excellent location. Most of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, but some lacked any personality and were very short. The rooms were almost perfect, but the shower was in need of repairs. The faucet covers were all broken off, and the towels provided were clearly past their prime. They were worn thin in places and smelled awful. Having said that, the room itself was outstanding and the balcony view was beautiful. Biggest con: The food in the lobby was RIDICULOUSLY priced. My wife and I purchased two premade cold sandwiches in plastic clam shells, 2 bags of potato chips and two bottled waters, and it was $51.00!! I get that we’re in a major ocean city at a port, but everyone, and I mean everyone we talked to agreed the prices were completely out of hand. It would be easier to give a suggested gratuity of 22% on something like a muffin if the hotel would offer a more reasonable price. So do yourself a favor and bring snacks and soft drinks. You’ll need to take out a second mortgage if you purchase their food or drinks. Restaurant and bar on second level were quite nice. Would definitely stay here again, but would most certainly come more prepared

I can’t say enough good things about this Hotel. I felt like it was so clean. We stayed here during the international boat show. It’s very convenient location. The convention center is only a few steps away from the front lobby. Water Taxi stop #4 is in the right in front. There was a fantastic breakfast buffet included with our stay. With the lights and yachts the view is amazing day and night. Now for the negatives. No coffee maker. There is a coffee shop but when I want coffee I don’t want to get dressed, walk downstairs and wait in line for it. Also, short on other’s amenities such there was 2 travel size bars of soap, and travel size shampoo and conditioner. No body lotion, shower gel or shower cap. Not 1 cup in the whole room to use for when I brush my teeth.

Had looked so forward to staying here prior to our cruise for a couple days. What struck us first was how expensive couple of snacks and sodas were, in addition to the staff member being somewhat snotty. Then our room was cold and I called and asked for help figuring out the thermostat. The gal on the other and told me she was sending an engineer. Needless to say no one ever appeared. The next morning. I asked the front desk about getting it fixed and he laughed at me and said they don’t have heat that in Florida. It doesn’t get cold enough for it, I am formed in my Florida native, and I certainly use it. I asked if they could send up a couple extra blankets and he said they would. They did not.My egg whites arrived for breakfast after that, and they were runny and in a cardboard box. In addition, the coffee was below average at best. Since this was a Hilton hotel expected better and more particularly at the price we paid. Yes it is convenient to the port, but that is about it.

Check in was a breeze. They had our room ready at 11AM which was amazing! The room was clean and looked like it was recently remodeled which was nice, but it was pretty small, the walkway into the room is pretty narrow so just keep that in mind. The pool was clean and had plenty of seating for guests. They also provide pool towels and water. The elevator in the main building was working so thankfully we did not have to walk far to get to our room. They do have a cafe in the lobby if you want to purchase coffee or snacks as well as an onsite restaurant. I do wish they would move the location of the dumpster, as it is at the entrance of the self-park parking lot. Every time we walked by to our car, it smelled awful. We stayed here for a conference which was fully paid for, but based on the high price of the room per night and the additional fees to park on site, I do not think it's worth the price.

Clean rooms and good house keeping. Not a great location, lot of construction and not close to the beach. Hotel is missing multiple small things that can be easily fixed to improve guest experience. I checked in with a group, no one greeted any of us. Front desk took lot of time to check-in each guest. They seemed to be under trained. We were not offered a bottle of water and none provided in the room. Meeting rooms were really cold. I have stayed in multiple Hilton properties over years. This one is definitely not my favorite.

Not much special about this hotel. Stayed here for a business trip and the main positives I can say are most of the staff were polite, and their meeting areas were clean and roomy. Otherwise the room was small, fridge in room did not work (which was pretty inconvenient for a 5 night stay), not much of a “view” (blocked by trees). There is a loud recording of birds by the pool that was just outside my balcony, and could be heard all hours of the night (and day) about every 7-10 mins. Pool bar menu is limited and grossly overpriced. At least one of the elevators was non functioning and we were told we could take the stairs (with multiple pieces of luggage) to the third floor room after a long day of travel. Asked for extra wash cloths 2 nights in a row and never got them. Rooms very basic and room/bathroom did not feel the cleanest. Lobby was flooded with people and luggage most mornings, mainly people waiting to board cruise ships. Hotel did not seem to be in the greatest/safest area

This hotel is beautiful. I was in a room facing the Marina so the views were incredible. If you can, request a room overlooking the Marina, you won't be disappointed. The room was very clean and the staff were very welcoming and nice. My stay was brief but I look forward to returning. I will definitely be booking here again in the future.

Wonderful experience over all. We only have two complaints. The restaurant on the second floor was actually hard to find and get to AND The breakfast buffet cost my wife and I $85. Seriously? The Hilton has to charge that much for a simple breakfast?

This is the second time that I have stayed this Hilton Marina in Fort Lauderdale. The hotel is just beautiful. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The room itself was very clean and has amazing views of the bay and downtown Fort Lauderdale. The hotel is only about 10 minutes from Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport. Fort Lauderdale is only a 10 min drive. The hotel is also very close many shops and dining. You also receive a $20 food/beverage credit daily which comes off the daily resort fee. The pool area is a great place to enjoy the sun and pool. There is also an outdoor bar with great cocktails and food. I highly recommend this Hilton if you are planning on taking a trip to Fort Lauderdale.

Definitely the worst service you can ever get from a Hotel, the management of this location is a shame to the good reputation of Hilton Hotels. I can't even describe how disappointed I am about my stay, to start I called this morning around 10:00am to the guess services representative to request for new towels she told me she was going to send someone, I waited for like one hour and no-one came with the towels I took shower and used part of my other clothes to used as towels, after that I went downstairs and explained to the front desk person what happen and the guy told me that he was gonna make sure someone cleaned my room and leave new towels for me. I just came now 10:30pm my room is not clean and there is no towels in the room, I called again to the guess services representative and she left me in hold, 10min after I hang-up and called back again for 3 times and no one answered my calls, the 4th time the same person answered and told me "yes wait until I find the manager for you" and put me on hold again. At this point I was so upset about the treatment I was receiving and when I finally got to connect with the manager she told me that there were no one who can help me with my room at this time. That I have to wait until tomorrow (the day my reservation ends) I asked her If It was possible to at least get some clean towels and she told me that she was going to send someone with the towels, 20 min later still waiting for the towels to take a shower after a long day of work. I had never received such a bad service before in any Hilton Hotels. I wish I could do no stars

Friendly, eager to help staff. Text communication with concierge. Well stocked snack/food bar in lobby. Clean and welcoming. Multiple restaurants within walking distance. Complimentary bottled water at front desk. Nice pool area out back by the docked charter boats. Would definitely stay here again!!

We have been here for 9 days of a 10-day stay. I would never ever stay here again. The staff is awesome but they are overworked and underpaid and short on numbers. We have never had anyone answer a phone call for any service. We were promised two bottles of water daily. That happened once. Upon arrival. Room service has never worked. Advertised but nonexistent. The pool area is far too small for a hotel this size. No hot tub. No pool showers. Often run out of towels. Nearby construction is noisy. Hotels should forewarn guests. The grounds are often littered and trash receptacles are nearly always full or overflowing. This is not a Hilton-quality property. I feel for the staff who work so hard and for unsuspecting travelers who arrive to an understaffed front desk the wait in line for long periods of time to get checked in. We are deeply disappointed by our stay here. Again, we applaud the great frontline people who work here. They are so kind and caring but so overwhelmed. And underpaid. No smart TVs in 2022. No Golf Channel on TV menu. Our room clock radio is vintage 1980 and does not work. A leak in a corner of our room has been reported several times. The tired carpet is now soaked with water. You can do so much better than this place. It is overpriced and underwhelming.More Date of stay: March 2022

We were very happy with our experience at the hotel, the staff were very personable and helpful, especially the maid service women. The location of the hotel was very helpful for us as it was close to shopping, the cruise ship and the beach. The only issue we had is that the beds were very hard, otherwise the rooms, environment and pool area were great.

A good property for a family stay. I stayed here to attend an office meeting at a nearby arena. Had a satisfying time. The place has a pool, gym, multiple eating joints. Reception people are helpful and prompt for your needs. The outside sitting deck is overlooking the marina with private yachts, which is were we sat late in the evening. It’s not a 5 star property and they are not charging you for it. Keep that in mind and you will be happy. Will recommend.

Needed a place to stay for the night since my flight out was cancelled. It was the neatest looking for it's location and price. It is an older hotel but remodeled nicely. I'm grateful I didn't have a car though. Overnight parking ranged from $22-44 for valet! They also charge a $30 resort fee but you can get 2 free bottles of water by asking at the front desk and $20 off food in their bar/restaurant or in the little shop/coffee stand in the lobby.

One of the best parts of my stay is Kenny, the bartender/server at the pool bar! I work for an airline, so I stay at this hotel a lot. Kenny is always friendly, and takes great care of me and the other guests. His memory is impeccable, and its amazing how he always smiles no matter what. He is such a hard worker, yet always finds the time to visit and joke around. Kenny has a true gift of making each guest feel like a friend. If you get the chance, I highly recommend you stop in and visit Kenny for a drink, or a meal at the pool bar!

The hotel is fine. Clean and nicely appointed rooms. Staff is courteous. However, I do not understand how you are unable to purchase a soda after 10 pm on their property. The lobby cafe is closed, room service is closed and they don’t have a drink machine on property. I was told by front desk to walk across the street to Walgreens. This makes no sense to me. I’m a Hilton Honors member and stay at many Hilton’s throughout the year. I won’t be staying at this one again.

This hotel did not meet my expectations. The room was dirty. The bathroom was dirty. I couldn’t wait to get home. After viewing the room, I refused to eat breakfast at this location as the room concerned me. Hilton, you need to do better. I expected more!!!! The customer is the only reason I put 2 stars because other than that, it would have been no stars. The young lady upfront was nice.

West Villa is older but decent. No major complaints. No tub which I don't use anyway. Happy for the shower and the adjustable night light on the bathroom mirror. The elevator is old....very old. Room service - food is expensive, and ok. Had the burger, I would recommend going out instead. Not sure I'll be returning because of the cost and value.

The price was ok, but does not seem like a real Hilton. I expect better. Food was ok and both of their locations, but wait staff were both awesome! Food way over priced. Front desk was also great. Elevators not working, ac not working. It was a bit of a mess. Our bath doors did no good- you could everything someone else was doing. I love my husband but come on.

Great place to stay, pool is nice except for all the trash other guests leave behind instead of picking up after themselves. Kids running around was another issue and loud inappropriate neighbors. Had to call front desk to come ask them to stop with the loud xxx noise. Beautiful hotel but restaurant food was over priced and restaurant was just a banquet room with table and chairs. Some workers were very nice and some were very rude. Room didn't have remote had ask for one, shower over flowed until my son unclogged the drain his self. Pool temperature was like taking a bath, too hot! Guest playing music that had foul language in it around other guests children. Women wearing thong bathing suits and barely had anything on. Every day we would go by pool area it smelled like raw hamburger meat. Got days it was very strong. Only a 5 minute walk to convention center.

PROS - Decent basic room (in west wing) - We had a nice view. - Near convention Center. - Helpfull front desk manager, he assisted us without having to ask for it. CONS - Cockroach 🪳 in our room, looking at the reviews, it seemed we weren't the only one. Was sitting on the toilet when it appeared on the toilet seat between my legs! - Housekeeping didn't clean our room during our stay. We had to ask for new towels. - Restaurant & Room Service closes at 10 pm. So bring your own food & drinks when you come in late. - No minibar available during our stay. There is a mini fridge in the room and tea/coffee machine. - No one picks up the phone when you try to call front desk. - Staff seems to know little about the hotel. No one knew where the ballroom was located, although it's situated on the ground floor of the hotel. - Couldn't close shower door. It was too heavy to open and close. So, left it open. Result: the bathroom floor gets all wet. IMPORTANT We didn't stay in the main building. To easily get to our room, we needed to take the stairs, because the elevator was broken. Otherwise, we had to take the elevator in the main building and then walk for a while, from 1 building to the other. If you have physical problems, make sure you mention this during your booking.

Have stayed at this hotel many times in the past and always enjoyed it. They claim they are remodeling the TiKi bar but is is entirely gone and was told not rebuilding it. They have a temporary bar setup outside. Service was terrible in the restaurant downstairs and was never told they had another restaurant upstairs. Good location to cruise port. Probably won't stay here any longer unless improvements.

We needed a stay before our flight out of Fort Lauderdale airport. Very convenient location with good parking. Not too far from beach. Room was small but ok for price. There was a very laid back relaxing cabana bar pool side. Good service with average food. Views of the harbor and boats. The hotel had a small fitness room. The lobby had a nicely stocked coffee/snack shop with very friendly service. For a stop over this place met our needs.

This hotel is a joke! Not only did my husband and I get DOUBLE charged but the manager Jason assured me he would take care of it (only after calling me a liar on the phone) but he refunded our original prepaid amount and left us with a higher bill even though he assured us he would take off the bill at the desk not what we prepaid. Why not double check that we paid in full before arriving? Had I not checked my bank statements they would’ve gotten away with this. Not only that but they said we had a king bed, it was a full or Queen MAX. There’s nothing you can eat or drink after 10pm. This hotel is horrible and your whole stay they harass you to book a hotel at another location. We only stayed because it was close to the convention center but next year best believe I’ll stay far and drive than stay here again.

At first glance, I was excited to stay here. Rooms were nice, but several of us had issues with AC, elevators breaking down, and heavy humidity throughout the building. The only view was of a crane from my room. I understand Florida but I was disappointed.

The room lack certain amenities that are simple fixes such as cups/glasses in the rooms. They charge $40 for parking and the area flooded and they did not assist you with getting your vehicle. Overall bad management on their part, find another Hilton property to go to.

An absolute mess from the beginning to end. The “water view high floor” had a terrible view of a busy highway but because water sits behind it it’s considered water view. False advertising. I was informed the hotel was valet only and valet explained there was a self park option but that Hilton did not want to give up the self park passes. Horrible front desk with the nastiest attitude but lo and behold they produced those self parking passes that were allegedly said to not exist. Bathroom door consisted of a busted barn door that didn’t close all the way, no privacy. Checking out I was told that the system was down for auditing purposes and a receipt would be provided later. Still charged valet, thank goodness I kept the self parking pass with receipt number. If they fail to issue refund it will be a consumer dispute. I will never be back.
