I had a wonderful stay at Sun Tower Hotel and Suites. I cannot recommend this place any more highly. Great quiet location directly on the sand just north of Birch State Park. A Courteous professional attentive friendly staff took great care of me. The hotel’s own Sand Bar restaurant/bar kept me well fed with delicious food from a great staff right on the beach. All rooms are ocean front with balconies directly on the beach. My room was spacious, beautiful, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. This small yet full service hotel has parking, a lobby shop, a pool, a restaurant/bar, a beach attendant with private loungers, umbrellas and beach towels. I am writing this review while we are still here. This place is a little golden nugget among high rises. Directly on the beach, the additional resort fee includes beach loungers with umbrella, kayaks, & paddle boards. A sweet building probably from the 60’s, it retains the old school charm while being completely renovated and comfortable! Sweet little pool area! We stayed in the perfect room - #304. At the end of the hallway, so our window-view out the back is the pool courtyard, and our front slider opens to a small but adequate balcony looking head-on at the ocean. Could not be more beach front that this! Our suite contains a living area with kitchenette, breakfast area & sitting area with comfy sofa. King bedroom & bath are perfect. If you are looking for high-end resort glitz, this is not your place. But quaint, clean, updated, spacious rooms, this is a deal!! Restaurant is open for all 3 meals with delish food! The yellow resort next door has a little coffee shop if you need your espresso fix, otherwise this place has it all!!

Updated: Christine M, one of the two owners, said she apologized for the inconvenience and was going to refund me one night. Because we went through a 3rd party, I had to call the 3rd party. I spoke with the 3rd party and they told me that Christine said she won't do the full refund. Christine lied to my face just to make me happy and did not provide me with the refund. What a scam. Don't go to this hotel. What a horrible way to do business Original Post: This place is just horrible. I'm almost 100% sure they bribed people to get the current rating they have. They have roaches the size of my fist and termites all over the place. This place is not taken care of at all. The front desk (Allie) said shell contact me on multiple occasions but never did. We had to call 6 times to get 4 towels, which took almost 5 hours. The wifi doesn't work at all. They told me they allow late check outs, but that was a lie. My in laws asked for an additional hour but Ally hung up on them. If you're looking for a bug infested, high theft location by the beach, with rude management, then this is the place for you!

This hotel is a hidden gem! Allie and the staff were excellent. Oceanfront suite is a mini apartment! Beautiful view of the beach and ocean. Highly recommend!! Plus, the Sandbar Grill that attached to the hotel is amazing, also the best staff! Everyone is so friendly here! We will most definitely be back! Go see Jackie, Kat, Bianca, and Milan!

Great place to stay right on the beach. Total of 18 rooms in the hotel so you can more personal service. Small pool and a pretty good restaurant that adjoined the hotel. 15 per day to park your car. Great views of the ocean from any room.

We haven't even been here yet and I am impressed with the service. We will be staying here next week. Lyric was on the desk when I called. She was amazing at finding us a room in the system and making us feel like we were a friend coming to visit her in her own home. Thank you. We are looking forward to our stay and meeting you. Our 1st company trip and it was amazing because of this place! Beautiful beautiful beautiful!!! Everyone were so nice and the rooms are amazing. Plus all the rooms are ocean view so you can’t get any better than that! Also, we were able to walk right on to the sand and not cross a street to get to the beach. We lucked out on this place and we will be back for our next company trip! Thank you to the staff - you all were great!

Not going to lie, this place was awesome! We were pleasantly surprised to see how much the staff of the hotel and the restaurant cared about its guests. And the food was delicious! You just don't get that with some of the bigger chains in my opinion. And to be right on the water, without the crowd and noise was perfect. Beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas all included in your stay, all we had to carry down was a book to read. We will definitely be coming back to stay here again. If you go, ask for Jackie at the restaurant, she is amazing!

I’m not one to write reviews unless the service is really really great.. or really really bad. This place is amazing! I have to give them the 5 stars they deserve! I just got home from a 5 day stay there with my daughter and we will 100% be back. We both dropped tears leaving because this week felt like “home”. The staff is amazing. From the front desk, to house keeping, to the staff at the sandbar. Rob, the owners father, also works there. He was the sweetest man and checked in with my daughter and I daily. They treat you as if you are their own family. Truly an amazing place all around. Beautiful view, great rooms. We will probably make this place an “annual trip”.

My mom has stayed here multiple times over the past 5 years. She’s raved about it and joked it’s her “apartment”. The employee at the front desk knew her by name. I finally made the trip and I understand! It’s a true GEM! It has a boutique feel, is clean, and with great food. It’s a smaller hotel with a quiet and relaxing vibe. I highly recommend this hotel!

The Sun Tower Hotel & Suites is my favorite place to be in Florida. It's right on the beach, small and intimate. The hotel has a great restaurant with outdoor seating and umbrellas, right on the beach. The service is excellent. The rooms are quiet and very comfortable. The parking is inexpensive. This is the place to stay, relax, and enjoy the east coast.

Wonderful, small and quiet setting on the beach. Rooms with beach view. Front desk staff super friendly and helpful. The little restaurant there on site, the Sandbar Grille, was fabulous! The food was delicious and the staff and service was superb. No wonder the locals go there frequently!!

Sun Tower Hotel & Suites is truly a hidden gem! No regrets, no complaints, not a single negative thing that comes to mind during the stay. The property is right on the beach, every room/suite is oceanfront! That's the first selling point out of many more. Beach chairs and umbrellas are set up and ready for use early in the morning. If you are a sunrise person, the staff will proactively set up the chairs and umbrellas ahead of time without any hesitation so that you can peacefully enjoy the sunrise. The heated pool was a perfect way to relax and end the day. The staff was kind to bend the rules and let the guests enjoy the pool even during after hours. The property is steps away from the beach, which of course meant beautiful views! The patio was quite spacious and the perfect way to relax and sip on margaritas while watching the waves crash! You must visit the restaurant on-site: Sandbar Grille - delicious food, friendly and courteous staff, and again it's right on the beach so a phenomenal view! The property's cleanliness is maintained, rooms are up-to-date and well-furnished. Parking is available and on the property. The staff ensures that your vehicle will have a parking spot no matter what time of the day or night you arrive. Last, but definitely not the least, the staff at Sun Tower. Special shout out to the friendliest staff EVER: Amanda, Allie, Nick, Josh, Christine, plus housekeeping and Sandbar Grille staff. Before even making the reservation, the phenomenal customer service by the staff on the phone made the decision to choose Sun Tower so simple and easy. Nick and Josh were extremely attentive and patient in answering all the questions prior to finalizing reservations. Needless to say, no disappointments upon checking-in. Greeted with a warm welcome by Allie, and how endearing it was when Allie personally dropped by to say bye as she wouldn't be there at check-out! Amanda, the front-desk manager, helped make the reservations and applied the discount available at that time. Who doesn't like discounts?! Speaking of which, making amendments to your reservation is very simple and hassle-free. You can rest assured that if you book directly through Sun Tower, the staff will facilitate any changes you need to make. The staff at Sun Tower really do believe in treating their guests like family, Sun Tower and their staff really make their guests feel at home during their stay. THANK YOU SO SO VERY MUCH!! Fort Lauderdale was quite a pleasant experience and it wouldn't have been possible without Sun Tower.

Did not stay at the hotel. Only visited for the bar and grill. But the hotel looks amazing. Very clean property and beautiful landscape. Can't beat the location too. Right on the beach ⛱️ 😎

Stood there’s for 4 day very nice scenery Sad to say taught we was getting bites buy sand Fleas in the room but just came home from there hotel n found out it was bed bugs bites Now my clothes is invested with bed bugs n my vehicle And got a 5months old baby Now gonna have to go to the hospital Cause me and my wife and. Baby gots bites from. Bed bugs from there hotle

Look no further than this hotel for your next vacation! It is perfect for my sister and me. Quiet beach, wonderful on-site restaurant, and literally just steps before your feet hit the sand and ocean. Golf cart shuttles are free and friendly. Not sure I’ll ever book a condo again because at Sun Tower you have daily cleaning, complimentary beach towels and bath products, and true concierge services if needed. Shout out to Devon in the restaurant who spent time telling us about great places to go. Betty at the front desk was a hoot and told us what to do as well as what not to do! And a special shout out to Dylan. You took our stay from 4 stars to 5! Had so much fun talking and laughing with him. He’s the best!

I can't say enough nice things about this place. They have the wow factor. We were greeted with such kindness and hospitality by Allie and Dylan, the room smelled so clean and fresh when we walked in, I later learned we had Natalie to thank for the amazing cleaning job of our room, and finally the view.....take your breath away. The beach was literally steps away from our room. Was a perfect location and gave my son and I a wonderful get away for our family vacation. This place is a 10! We will definitely be back💛

We only stayed one night before getting on a cruise, but this place is great! The location is amazing, just steps to the beach. The only complaint is that we felt like we were going to fall through the floor of the shower.

Second time staying. It’s definitely time for them to think about replacing the horrible bumpy and lumpy mattresses. When you sit on the bed, you kinda sink right down into a cavern that has been carved out by guests over the years. Other than that, it’s a no frills, wonderful hotel with an unbeatable location.

The couch that folded out to a bed was old & broken. Got a cot & brace broke on it. Had to use couch cushions to sit the cot on where it broke. Other than that room was clean. Had beautiful view of the ocean & sunrise. Enjoyed my stay there

Avoid Junior Suite 103! I spent a couple of days at the Sun Tower Hotel, before flying home to the UK. The hotel location on the beach, and the rooms and facilities are all good - but the doors both onto the corridor and onto the deck are so ill-fitting that room insulation is non existent....... I booked 2 nights into a junior suite / room 103, which has a larger sea-view terrace - it is also next to the kitchen and restaurant I was woken both nights at exactly 04:20 by the noise of 2 kitchen stewards creating the weirdest, loudest, repetitive squeaking noise, as they scraped down the floors and kitchen appliances. The second night I walked into the kitchen and complained, and to be fair they did stop what they were doing. The issue here is the insulation - a door that fitted into its frame, and the inclusion of a second internal door, inside the suite, would go a very long way to improve the noise insulation, of a room which is being sold at a premium because of the large deck onto the beach..... Suite 101 and 102 would not be affected by this noise problem. There were plenty of plusses, the beach location, and the comfy bed and large deck were great, and the little beach cafe was excellent, serving up good quality, simple dishes from 09:00 through until 21:00.

This place is beautiful! First time here and we absolutely love this hotel! Staff is very nice and friendly, very accommodating to your needs and just all around awesome people! Most places we have been the staff pretty rude! We will definitely be back in the near future! Food at the sand bar and grill downstairs is excellent as well! We’ve eaten there more then anywhere else!

Loved this place. You walk out the back, right onto the beach. People were great and friendly. Loved our King suite with balcony and full ceiling to floor windows with a fantastic view of the ocean. We will definitely go back.

Stayed there last week it was absolutely amazing!!! From check in to checking out , it went so amazing and smooth, so accommodating, super clean and organized and everyone so friendly and sweet !!! I also got engaged during my stay on the first night there and the next morning at the sand bar we were treated to mimosas to celebrate on them!! I really felt like we were home and knew everyone forever !!! It was one of the nicest stay and I cannot recommend this hotel enough!!! I thankyou all at sun towers for the best week of our lives!!!!

We just returned from yet another trip to sunny Florida and stayed at our go to Hotel (The Sun Tower Suites). We have been coming here for years and this Hotel has been consistently fantastic. The rooms are always clean and the view never disappoints, it's amazing, with sweeping ocean views. The staff is always friendly and attentive especially the GM Christine! The food at the Hotel's Sand Bar Grill is fresh and delicious. It's busy for a reason...This Hotel is well run, I hope they never change the management. Great job to all the staff. Always a pleasure visiting the Sun Tower!!!

Wonderful stay at the Sun Tower. The boutique hotel is in a great location. The rooms were clean, beautiful and the view does not disappoint. I loved that it was not a big hotel so that areas were not overcrowded. The beach and pool area were beautiful. The food at the restraunt was very good and right on the beach. Would definitely come back.

Hotel sitting on a sandy beach. Clean comfortable and amazing staff. Lewis and others made you feel right at home. Our room had an amazing view of the oceanfront cozy balcony with chairs and small table perfect for watching the waves crash and enjoying a cold drink.

My fiancé and I recently stayed at the hotel for about a week and we had a very pleasant experience. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and provide exceptional customer service. The housekeeping is outstanding and the best from any hotel I stayed at. The man that puts the chairs and umbrellas on the beach is very friendly and provides great service. I would definitely stay at the hotel again.

My daughter and I spent 5 days here and we will definitely return. The hotel is very clean and updated. I cant say enough wonderful things about the service from the front desk to the Sandbar Grill where the food is consistently enjoyable. Beautiful hotel, right off the beach with gorgeous ocean views. The toiletries (soap/shampoo) provided could be better, but the rooms are clean & comfortable and the location is ideal. There is a lovely restaraunt on the first floor with good Flatbreads. Very covid friendly as the suites are garden style. Just bring your own soap/shampoo and you're set!

We had the best stay here! Definitely has old Florida vibes. We enjoyed that the hotel was smaller and most of the time we had the pool to ourselves.

We eat at the restaurant every few months. Quite good. The menu is dependable and the ocean view is great during the late afternoon and evening.

Just a true gem hidden right in the middle of the busiest beachfront of Lauderdale by the sea! Recently renovated rooms, right on the beach! Every room has beachfront views!!

Sun Tower is a very clean hotel! The gentleman Leon on the beach is very friendly and quick to help to put umbrellas and chairs up for you.

My sister and I stayed at SunTower for six nights and it was wonderful....All 24 rooms have direct Ocean Views!! The staff was wonderful (thanks Victoria!!)...And the Sand Dollar Grill was so convenient.....We will definitely be back! Don't be afraid -- go ahead and book it--YOU won't b disappointed!

Visited the Sandbar Grill. Great happy hour service on the beach. 3 of us shared appetizers and drinks. They do not serve liquor but have "mocktails" served with wine based alcohol. Very delightful and so worth the visit!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL place to stay— right on the beach in Fort Lauderdale. Highly recommend getting the suite that opens up to the beach. This room is perfection!! We will definitely be back!
