My husband and I go here every chance we get! Not only is the food absolutely amazing but it always feels like home to us. The owner is obsessed with making sure his guests are happy and comfortable. Both of the owners have a formal education on wine and food, they are both from Italy so you will only get the authentic Italian foods. They have an amazing wine list and will always recommend a pairing with your meal. Aside from all of this, what I love most is how I feel when I leave the restaurant. There are many places you can eat but the experience and Service we receive in this restaurant keeps us coming back. This is a perfect spot for a romantic dinner, dinner with friends, family meal. They have plenty of vegetarian options too. Don't miss a chance to make this your go to just like we have! You will fall in love with La Dolce Vita

Due to a recommendation from a friend, my girlfriend and I had dinner last night at La Dolce Vita in Fort Lauderdale. The service was phenomenal and it stood out from the moment we arrived. As we approached the doorway, one of the gentleman at the restaurant opened the door for us and escorted us to our table where he then continued to untucked our chairs for us and hand us menus. The excellent service and ambiance really gives this place an upscale feel. We ordered the soup of the day which was an onion soup and the insalata adriatica for appetizers which were both awesome. Then for our main courses we ordered the Garganelli Alla Bolognese and the Chitarrina La Dolce Vita. Both of these meals were absolutely delicious and had a very fresh taste. After we finished our meals we were both stuffed and so we informed our server that we would skip dessert. About 5 minutes later he returned with a fresh slice of tiramisu and insisted that we try it on the house. Wow! Overall, we had an amazing experience and will be sure to both return and recommend this place to our friends and family.

What can you say...these people LOVE food and their customers. How great it is when you read reviews as you cross alligator alley and your mouth waters as you move through all the great comments on the homemade pasta, the truffle dishes, the specials, people just raving about the entire experience. This team of professionals gets it, from the moment I walked through the door I was back in little Italy NY. The atmosphere is great, quiet, low key, beautiful surroundings. The service impeccable, sweet, and attentive. And the food....not since my wife's grandmas homemade Italian dishes have I tasted food like this..just amazing. We had the gnocchi with black truffle, the ravioli with wild mushrooms and black truffle finishing with Tiramisu, wow, and pistachio crusted tartufo. My mouth is still watering!

I come here once a year, every year for 6 years while on vacation. This place is always fantastic. The owners are authentic Italian and they keep the traditions from home alive. The place parking close by and costs 2 dollars to park there. The restaurant is nice and elegant inside, with dimmed lighting. They also have a patio to enjoy the warm Florida nights. The staff is all professional and mostly Italian. Very welcoming and polite. The service is quick, even during busy times. You can call in advance and make a reservation. Make sure you try the burratta cheese, arugula salad, lasagna and truffle ravioli. It is absolutely delicious. The coffee is also perfect and the lemon Cake and tirimisu is also so delicious. This place is consistently amazing every time we go.

In a nice area withe several small strip malls. Good place to park and walk around. Have to pay for street parking. We went early, so it wasn't very busy. Some tables on the sidewalk, but it was a little hot - everyone was inside. Pastas are homemade - seems to be their specialty - they do have salmon, chicken, veal as well. Fairly priced. Nice fresh bread to start. We had the beef ravioli and spaghetti special - 3 meat sauce. Both were excellent. Right size portion - not too small. Cooked perfectly al dente. Food arrived fast. Servers were excellent. Atmosphere was nice. Surprising how many restaurants are still old school with payment - no portable machines. Highly recommended. Will visit every time I'm in the area.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Ft Lauderdale! For an evening it feels like being transported to Italy. Everything is amazing.... the ambiance, the food, the wine list, the service, the presentation. Fabio and his staff make you feel like family. So when my friend and I decided to throw a Bridal luncheon for my niece, of course this was the only choice. Everything exceeded our expectations and those of our guests. Fabio was hands on choosing the menu and the wines. He offered a prosecco as guests arrived. He worked with us on presentation and seating arrangements. It was perfect! Everyone had a fabulous time and are still talking about the food, wine and service. What made it even more special was having the restaurant all to ourselves for a private party. Thank you to everyone at La Dolce Vita for a memorable afternoon!

If you love real Italian cooking, La Dolce Vita is a must! We were welcomed with a warm greeting and had excellent service. Thank you Christian! The dinner menu had plenty of choices and they also had some specials of the day. We enjoyed the burrata and prosciutto salad, mushroom risotto, grilled branzino, and veal chop in truffle sauce. Every portion was more than generous, so we shared the salad and risotto. The burrata was the best we’ve had. The branzino was cooked to perfection, tender, flaky with the skin grilled so crispy that you want to eat it all. It was covered with thinly sliced zucchini that not only kept it moist during cooking but made for a beautiful presentation. And the veal chop!!!...oh my! Cooked perfectly, surrounded with a wild mushroom black truffle sauce and roasted potatoes that were creamy and crispy on the outside. They have a well priced wine list with a nice variety of Italian wines. We like full bodied wines, so we enjoyed a Barolo. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a meal there. Don’t forget to save a little room for dessert...homemade tiramisu. You will not regret it!

From the moment we walked in, the experience was extremely Italian. The main waiter was hugging and kissing his regulars while making everyone else feel at home. The bread was freshly baked, and the pasta was phenomenal. We had the gnocchi and lasagna, and it was easily the best meal we had while in Florida. Very authentic flavors!!

Absolutely fresh food, very high end service and kind waiters. Amazing wine selection, quaint interior and outdoor seating. Very reasonable prices especially with such top end ingredients. This place has everything you want in a true Italian cuisine restaurant -- no frilly dishes, no gimmicks, just straight up quality.

I have to admit I was a little sad when my buddy chose to go here instead of Cafe Martorano’s around the corner. That immediately changed after tasting the magnificent octopus and eggplant. One of my friends had the mushroom ravioli with black truffle oil and Parmesan which was absolutely delicious but my veal chop was the winner of the night. If you’re looking for a quieter authentic delicious Italian restaurant this is the place to be. If you want loud and fun and delicious the other place is great as well.

This was our first visit to La Dolce Vita and it was the most delightful dining experience we have had in a long time!! Fabio is an amazing host and made my husband and I feel like family with his warm hospitality and excellent service. Our grilled octopus appetizer was perfectly cooked, charred and tender. The homemade spaghetti was simply delicious both in our seafood dish and in the Cacio e Pepe, which brought me right back to Rome! The portions are very ample, so we had no room for dessert this visit. If you want to experience the feel of an authentic Italian restaurant, a place for delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to go! We will definitely be back again and again.

Our first time there. the service was extraordinary! Like going into Nonna's kitchen! Everyone from the manager to the waitress assistant was very nice and efficient. Prices are good which is a miracle in today's market. Now, to the food: Fantástica! The best pasta I have had in years! Just don't tell my wife. We four all tried each others' food and there were no losers there. Just pieces of a cooking paradise. If we had ten stars, Dolce Vita would get them

We came across this restaurant just looking for a real good Italian restaurant! I am Italian and usually prefer just eating at my family’s for dinner, but they are in NJ and I relocated to Fort Lauderdale! Finally found the spot be! It’s a quaint Italian restaurant that is authentic and delicious! Feels like you are in Italy for a moment. We ordered the polenta appetizer and it was heaven in the mouth! Perfecto! I order the special bolognese and my husband ordered the spaghetti with a cream sauce and Italian sausage with truffle. I highly recommend this place. It is clear that all the pasta is housemade! So fresh! Its very personal and the staff is amazing! Thank you Dolce Vita! We will be back with friends! So happy I finally found my favorite Italian here in Fort Lauderdale! Prego! Xoxo coming back for the Branzino special it looked amazing and the table next to me loved it! You cant get anything wrong there! I am sorry I did not take pics because I was too involved with my eating!!!!!!

My boyfriend and I enjoyed a beautiful and delicious dinner here this week for our anniversary. The environment was intimate and welcoming. The owners are two knowledgeable, kind Italians whom made it a priority to provide A++++ service and treat you like family. I appreciate the authenticity of the food and service which made me feel like I was back in Rome for a moment. Thank you for bringing a little piece of Italy to Fort Lauderdale! We will be back not only due to the quality of the food (which was top notch) but the quality of service. I highly recommend this wonderful restarant.

The most welcoming atmosphere. Real and genuine people. I felt like I was having a Sunday dinner with family. Raviolis were special. Thank you for the experience and restoring my roots and my understanding of where I come from. Nice to know that still exists today.
