Such an awesome place. One of the best in Ft. Lauderdale. Relaxing, clean looking environment with 2 pool tables and a ping pong table. Owner and bartenders are real nice, and set a great vibe. Product is strong too!

This place is such a vibe! My first time here I didn’t know what to expect, and I loved it! I make a point to come every week. Shane is the best kava tender!! The place is super clean and the kava is so good. My go to is the lemon drop kratom shot. They have video games, a ping pong table, and a billiards room. Throughout the week they host different events as well. If you’re looking for a new Kava spot don’t even hesitate to check this place out, you won’t regret it!

One of my favorite places to go outside of my home. You really can't go wrong with any of the items on their menu. My favorites are the empanadas, meat-lovers pizza (vegan), muffins and the Kratom. I'm glad to know that every time I visit, I'm supporting a passionate vegan business owner that cares about the community. I love this place so much, that I some times spend 10 hours just listening to the music and working on my laptop. I also recommend checking out their Open Mic nights. I performed my music here for the first time in public. Leaves & Roots will always have a place in my life story because of that experience.

Leaves and Roots is a superior kava lounge with excellent products. The kava and Kratom drinks are always on point, there are 2 beautiful pool tables and a ping-pong table ready to be used, in top notch condition. Leaves and Roots sound system has you feeling the beauty of whatever is playing when you’re getting a good bula on. The place is very clean, and the people, kava tenders, and owner Mark are always helpful and fun. There is a new manager at Leaves and Roots, Fayna. She is really bringing the place to life, and don’t miss the open mic at Leaves and Roots, quality performances and the karaoke is amazing as well. First time I went was for open mic night in November of 2022 and I was blown away not only by the layout but also the tremendous menu options. There is an abundance of drinks to choose from with a wide variety of food options (vegan-friendly). Both the drinks and food were delicious but what made the experience phenomenal for me was the high level of service. Since that first time, I’ve gone back quite a few times and am lucky to have had top notch service from Shane, Sebastian, Abdul, Fayna, Dayna and Kira. Lucky to call them friends as well. The rotation of kava tenders is top notch and enhances the experience. Probably what further adds to the experience are the options to play pool, ping pong, video games or watch movies on one of their 2 large flat screens. There is no short of ways to amuse yourself at Leaves. Thank you to everyone for making Leaves a colossal force in the community. Highly recommend!

Really is the best Kava Bar in south Florida hands down. They run open mic night every other Thursday turns into a bar. The really cool thing about the place besides the decoration is the people from customers to staff. It is down to earth as can be. Anyone can open mic, and everyone will love your performance. It is awesome environment at place in part of town you would not expect. Extremely clean and open plenty of room to fill maybe 100 people. However, the pandemic restricts things and masks are required which I agree. Better safe then sorry. Beautiful art can be found near by. I have been going here for 8 years now. Every day... If I could.

Leaves and Roots is a top notch kava / kratom bar. The drinks are great but what really makes the difference is the amazing staff. Kyra, Shane and Sebastian are all extremely friendly and engaging. They add to a welcoming and chill vibe of the community the bar is home to.

This place is amazing they have 2 pool tables, game room area and a ping pong table. Shane was my bartender and made some amazing Kratom drinks and set off a great vibe. Shane also was very educated about all of the drinks she made for my friends and I. The music was also amazing.

Love to come here after a long day of work or go there to finish work. Nice chill place, pets are allowed, happy hour 4-7 with discounted drinks, the only kava bar in the area i know that serves vegan bites (any bites). And my fav point is that they have a ping-pong table! Hibiscus kratom tea is delicious and staff is super friendly!

It's a hipster type of atmosphere. The regular kava is smooth and not so strong, good for who is new to the kava scene. The Kava Shots are good and strong is you like that. The Kratom on tap is clean and favored well. The food is typical bar food but it was done to perfection, was never overdone. Overall it's pretty chill.

It was a little intimidating at first because the crowd seemed to be mostly regulars which made it feel like I arrived at a party I wasn't invited to. But the bartender was welcoming and accommodating. I initially intended to get a vegan pizza to go but decided to sit for a while, ultimately caught a vibe, had a great conversation, and enjoyed the atmosphere.

Dog friendly, excellent staff. The Kratom actually hits and they dont water it down with ice. Kratom teas and very delicious and you can have them add in different custom flavoring for 20 cents. Two pool tables in the back room with blue tooth access to speaker. Vegan options are pricy but thats to be expected with any Vegan options. Kratom teas are 8 for small and 14 for large i believe. It is also VERY VERY CLEAN with two bathrooms aswell. They always have events going on. Poker on Wednesday and free pool on Tuesdays. They also have a nintendo 64 with games and a nintendo switch with plenty of controllers with mario kart and smash brawls. Ive hopped around to most of the kava bars around and found this one to be the overall best, Excellent spot.

I Love the vibes created by the staff at this place. They truly make the place come alive. My favorite kava tender is Shane. They always have a welcoming energy and i always have fun seeing the community they create.

Awesome place! Great kava, kratom and vegan food for a decent price. Nice seating, video games, pool, ping pong and a poker table! Just left Karaoke with Kyra on Wednesday and had a great time.

Great place with a great vibe! Pet friendly, movie nights, pool, ping pong... central, non-descript location on the outside and big and fun and nice and clean inside. It's a a mixed crowd with hipsters, yuppie and lgbtq+. They have the bar, tables, and couches along the wall so you can chill. We went for pride, they had entertainment and a dj that night, it was great... I highly recommend!

To be honest guys… I cheated on you with black klover kava the other day…. And what I found was…. Is Leaves and roots kava bar rocks! This is the best kava bar in all of south Florida. I love this kava bar. All premium quality daily brewed kavas and kratoms are top notch. Some of the product at other bars makes me feel not so good and Ive never had this experience at Leaves. Sebastian always provides excellent service and makes delicious cocktails. The event nights are so fun and its always a good wholesome crowd attending! Really love the chill and laid-back vibe of this place. There is a refreshingly eclectic crowd here that are all very easy going. This atmosphere is largely encouraged by the friendly and welcoming staff here. In particular, Casey Connor, is a stand out (although they are all wonderful). Casey always makes you feel like he is genuinely happy to see you by greeting you with a warm hello and pleasant conversation. I also really appreciate the high quality Kava that is served here. Too often, at other establishments the clientele are served watered down or low potency root. Not here! They really know what they're doing here. Very glad I found this amazing little place. They can definitely consider me a regular now.

I can say a lot about this place; but, I'll start off by calling out a staff member by the name of Casey (forgive me if I spell the name wrong). From the moment you walk in you'll be greeted by Casey (if he's on that shift) and he gives you a very welcoming and homecoming vibe. Cassie makes ordering very comfortable if its your first time. Just wanted to give a special shout out to Casey but all the Kavatenders at Leaves are awesome! Drinks are fairly priced and they have lots of things for you to do like a pool room with two pool tables, a game to play video games, board games and a ping pong table. The whole place is pretty awesome and I love seeing it get more recognition. 10/10

This is my favorite kava bar in Fort Lauderdale! The peach mango kratom was delicious and gave me a nice buzz. Craig the bartender is very friendly and gave me excellent service. I like to come for their open mic too!

Friendly atmosphere, great wifi, prices are very much in line with tea shops I frequent. Place was very cozy with an inside and outside seating. Happy hour 4-7 M-F, Sat 11-2, Sunday all day. parking is limited out front but parking around the area is only a short walk away. Murals surround this area and this location is covered in them. Events are frequent here. And I plan to frequent whenever I'm in the area.

Everything about this kava bar is spectacular. Amazing beverages, super strong relaxing effects! As far as vegan food goest, theirs is perfection. The bartenders are friendly, relatable, and seem to really love their jobs. The owner is really cool to hang out with. The atmosphere is perfect for enjoying the euphoric drinks they provide. When I was first recommended to come here, I tried their piña colada kava bowl, and I was instantly enjoying it. Not just because I am a fan of piña colada but having it in its kava form is simply amazing. I am grateful my friend told me about the place since he knows I am vegan and perfect place to visit after work.

In town for visit and looked them up. Super friendly people. Very relaxing atmosphere. Good drinks and conversation. We felt welcome as soon as we sat down. The bartender was great he offered us samples without us having to ask because we where not familiar with there menu. Definitely would suggest stopping. We will return for sure!

My brother actually introduced me to this Kava bar months ago, since then I've been multiple times. It's always a great vibe and people who work there are always pleasant. They have a arcade room and also do Yoga as well on certain days. Definitely should check it out if you haven't been before.

The Kava.. this was my first time trying this plant/drink still and I am not like a veteran marijuana smoker so I get high very easily.. So, when I say that my drink my one bowl of kava had me super relaxed and just feeling almost spaced out lol That's what it did for me so, like I believe if I wanted to achieve a very similar High to marijuana.. I might need two bowls but also I'm a bigger person.. And my first experience was for open mic night I really enjoyed that I love live music! I enjoyed it and it was a nice experience.. I will go back..

Honestly LOVE this place. They are pet friendly, and they always love on our pupper. The atmosphere is even better, and the vibes...the BEST. Kurya is INCREDIBLE and always knows my order lol. She never forgets. She is one of the kindest humans I ever have had the pleasure of meeting. My husband and I go there weekly and we couldn't love it more. Everyone there is so friendly and we have met some awesome people and have had some great conversations. They have a ping pong table, pool table, games, and a couch if you're just looking to hang out and chill as well as some table and spots at the bar. It is a fantastic place and I highly suggest you take a visit

Extensive menu selection of drinks and vegan snack items. Favorite drink is the hibiscus dragonfruit, gets you feeling super relaxed and happy. The rewards system is really nice helps out when you come often. Also the kava is great quality! Definitely recomend this place!!

Love this kava and kratom spot. The bartenders are great and make you feel like family, as any good kava bar should. Big space with TWO full size pool tables in back, and a ping pong table in front and a video game room. Parking is kind of limited, otherwise one of my fav kava bars
