On January 19, 2022, at 12:13 pm I had to worse experience at Planet Fitness ever! After noticing a billing issue on my account for this month I called and asked to speak with the general manager “Shauna” twice and she never came to the phone or returned my call. So, I came to the location to see if this can be resolved in person. As I arrived, I asked to speak with Shauna, and she was there so I proceeded to tell her the situation she interrupted me and got an attitude and put her hands in my face and said, “save it”. (You can view your cameras to view this). Afterwards I was astounded and upset that a “general manager” would handle themselves in this manner. She stated she would pass me on to my district manager who was next to her, and I said okay that’s fine. After speaking with Daniel, the district manager, he handled my issue and I proceed to inform him that she was extremely rude and put her hands in my face. Additionally, I asked him is this is type of “ghetto trash you hire?”. He stated do not say that I stated okay that fare. He asked I can cancel your membership now or proceed with your refund? Then later stated, I cannot let that go I have to cancel your membership. However, he never addressed her on how unprofessional, rude, and ghetto she acted with a member that she has never had an encountered with. I do not believe you should have this type of people working at your establishment. She shouldn’t be employed at Planet Fitness! I have never been treated like this ever in any establishment in my life. This is about being unprofessional and having no respect for members. Please have the owner contact me so that I can discuss further.

I have been a member of planet fitness since 2018, and I've got to say this one was the absolute worst! The tanning bed was literally falling apart, they over charged for eyewear and the GIRL who checked me in barely spoke English...9 bulbs out! The bottom you can barely even stand on! What a shame! Who the hell did y'all pay for those good reviews?

The facility wasn't up to normal standards I have seen in other Planet Fitness'. The massage chairs were not working properly. Nobody there cleaned the equipment they had just used. I wanted to tan and when I didn't have my eye protection one of the young ladies was very rude. When I explained my home gym has temp stickers, she snapped at me and told me I could buy a pair. When I apologized because my hoke gym provides it, she snapped back with a "not here". I am used to a different level of professionalism and I guess if I go back, at least I know what to expect.

They only have standing tan bed for you to know. The gym is pretty much small compared to others ones, it’s crowded. They have a few stairs only and really nothing to hang out to stretch. I recommend this place just letting you know what to expect

I was surprised at the quantity and quality of the equipment at this gym. The space itself is huge with high ceilings. Lots of Smith machines, lots of benches and (still a line for both tho) and TONS of cardio machines of every type. Also, lots and lots of Life Fitness machines, all in working order. The 30 minute express workout section is very cool and I have never seen anything like it anywhere. The bathrooms were being cleaned while I was there and looked clean and smelled nice. More important, I noticed the clientele being consistent at wiping down machines after they were used!! It's definitely a crowded gym, and the parking lot and plaza are relatively ratchet, but the price cannot be beat.

I decided to drop into this location the other day and have to say this is the worst Planet Fitness I have been to. There was no one at the main desk to check me in- so after waiting I just walked in. Safety concern! The whole entire time I worked out I did not see a single person wipe down any equipment after using it. I was there for about 2 hours and I was the only person wiping down my own equipment- so clearly there are no staff members reinforcing the clean after you use policy. When I asked to use the hydro massage chairs the girl laughed at me and said “those have been out of order for months….”. Will not be returning to this location.

Of all my travels, this PF has been the best! Shout out to the friendliest, most hilarious and accommodating staff Erick, Ayanna and Sharon! The gym was well-equipped, functioning equipment, and clean. I accomplished my workout goal, relaxed in the Black Card Spa and had some great laughs. This PF does not have the small combination lockers, so bring your own lock for the lockers.

Elijah is amazing wow gets 5 stars from me. Impeccable service. I love staff that is both friendly and knowledgeable! He helped resolve my issue with ease when I came in to sign up. I was a previous member so there were some issues trying to renew. Also the PF app was down on my phone and I was so frustrated with it not to mention when I called the location another staff member was blowing me off (by this I mean not actively listening to my concerns and rushing me) so I decided to come in person to have this handled and I’m happy I did. Elijah immediately greeted me and made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. He also gave me the correct information I was looking for where as previously when I was on the phone with the previous staff member, did not. Elijah answered all of my questions confidently and politely which is most important. Don’t you hate when someone answers your questions in a demeaning tone? In return I was left feeling confident that I chose the perfect home location and excited to come in. Thank you! The bathrooms are extremely clean, Elijah ensures proper sanitization on all the equipment especially the massage chairs. Overall I am grateful I decided not to judge the location over my phone interaction with one staff member. Elijah turned my hesitations around 180. So if you have any reservations just go see Elijah! I am already telling my friends to switch here!

Tried out this location. Friendly staff. Clean equipment. Bring your own locks for the locker room. The Black Card Area is small, but clean. It has massage chairs, tanning beds, and hydro beds - no Total Fitness machine like at my home location. This is not a 24-hour location. Did I mention it is clean?! I will definitely come back when I’m in the area.

I won’t recommend anyone getting a membership with them. They make canceling it so hard. There’s no option to cancel on the app you can’t transfer to a closer location unless you done 3 months with them. They want me to write a letter because I can’t make it to a location I accidentally selected. If I can put no stars I will. Contact 24hr fitness way more amenity cancellation isn’t hard and the workers aren’t rude!!!

Went in to see the place and evaluate for membership. The gym and facilities are clean and well maintained. The environment is great and the staff is attentive. Maria gave me a comprehensive tour and made me feel right at home showing and explaining all of the amenities, various rooms, and incredible inventory of equipment. Plus, it’s in a great spot and wasn’t too crowded at 5:45pm. The best part is that dropping weight and grunting are prohibited and there is a loud alarm that sounds if anyone does that.

I've been coming to this gym since 2018 and it is so well kept that it looks like it just opened! Everything is wiped down by the caring patrons and deep cleaned by awesome employees like Trevan! All the employees are awesome and this is made sure by the best GM Shauna who takes all your concerns seriously while investing time and leadership skills in her employees! Thank you Shauna and Trevan! I've been going to gyms for over 20 years ! This has been my favorite and best bang for your buck! Tanning, massage open almost all hours for under 25 dollars! And clean!

It’s an amazing place to come the people are friendly and very Helpful, also funny. The environment is always kept clean and there are no reckless activity around the gym. This is highly recommended for anyone and I will continue to come here and work out some more.

OH MY GOSH! This establishment is outstanding. Everyone was so helpful in my signing up process. It was so easy as 1 2 3. Shauna was very helpful and she kept a smile on her face. Amazing individual hope to see her level up and also one of the associates cam walked me around and also showed me how to use some of the machines. A dedicated associate put a tear in my eye 🥲. IT WAS GREAT!!!!

Brand new machines and they’re motivating me even more!! This is by far one of my favorite locations in Broward County. S/O to the staff too, the cleanliness is appreciated 💯

Visiting from California, very small on a fitness, we're definitely not busy for 2:00 p.m. on a Saturday. Very bright guy in the front desk, staff member was walking around cleaning whole time we were here, all the machines were functioning, no issues whatsoever, lots of parking. Good facility. This side facility might be great for me., Not sure since we don't live here, it might get really packed on me weekday at 5:00 p.m. what kind of chicks. But overall if I live here I'd come to this gym.

I'm a member of this gym and I must say that Basil is awesome, he's always there at the gym when ever i come to working out he always here with a smile. I see him helping the costumers very well. He love what he do. I must say that i am happy with his service. Keep up the great work Basil. I work in costumer service myself and I know what it take to provide great service. Congratulations Planet Fitness for a good staff member.

As a Black Card Member($25 mo) I put up with broken hydro tables and A/C out for 8 weeks Yesterday, after waiting 10 mins for someone to turn on the hydro table, I walked down to see the manager and asked her to put it on. I went back up to the table. It did not go on. She did nothing. They need to get better systems like an intercom to the front desk I gave up and went back to the regulator $10 mo membership. Equipment is New. Worth it for $10 a month.

So I've been a member of this gym for 3 weeks now, so far so good. Four suggestions the paper towel machines need more attention a lot of times you go and either they are empty or don't work, ladies bathroom definitely needs more cleaning, don't wait to long to fix machines there's been an elliptical out of service for the past 2 weeks and last but not least the windows that are on the side of 27th st where the legs machine are needs to be cover (blinds) is impossible to workout w/ the sun hitting your face so bad. I want to mention Santana has been so nice and understanding w/ me. She's getting me ready for my wedding! Anyways these are small details that can be fixed to obtain a 5 star review.

I think it would be nice if they had more free Weights.They're very limited in this area.Other than that the gym is clean and well-kept.

Shauna the general manager was amazing. She was very helpful and very polite to all my needs. She’s very knowledgeable of the everything that pertains to the gym. She has excellent customer service and also the trainer Santana was very helpful and she knows everything about muscle growth and recovery. Can’t wait to join the Planet fitness Family. 😄

I adore this fitness center! People are courteous, and my machines always work. The personnel is excellent. Nicole and Damien are amiable and constantly smiling.

My Favorite Planet Fitness in The South near Miami, mostly because of the Sunlight which many of the others don't have, it's invigorating.. I'd like to hear a myriad of other types of music especially Roots Reggae and not as much except 'hip pop' as there are lots of different folks coming including Natives, How about some PoW Wow music and a Lil Rock every now and then too. Music is the Vibrational Medicine for building a better person from the inside out.. ... 😉

I'd been having issues with the app for the past couple weeks while traveling. After repeated failed attempts, one particular staff member at this location went above and beyond to help rectify the issue. Her name was Karen, and she was the complete opposite of the stereotypical "Karen." The entire staff at this place is great, the gym is clean, and for as long as I'm around Fort Lauderdale, I will be coming to this particular gym. Thanks again Karen. You're the best!

I workout 5 days a week religiously, by far this planet fitness has been the most convenient and CLEANEST one I’ve attended. Bathrooms ALWAYS smell fresh and NEVER crowded when I go. Can’t say the same for the Lauderhill location…..just unbelievable that place . I’ll be sticking to this location. Love it. 🤌🏽

Been coming here for over 2 years. Started off not knowing anything about the gym and now I’m a gym rat. This is one of the best PFs in the world. It’s a place where if you are new to the gym they make you feel very welcome and if you are experienced it’s still a great place to workout in. The stuff are some of the best people I know. They are willing to help you with anything you need. All the people that come here are the best and so kind as well.

I love this gym! People are polite, I always get my machines. The staff is great. Nicole and Damien always smiling and personable.

This gym is new, clean, and provides all the needed sanitizers for a safe workout. The times I visit the crowd is light.

This Planet Fitness is one of the best. The experience is always pleasant, staff is friendly and bathrooms are super clean. Definitely coming back.

This was my first time working out at a Planet Fitness and had a great experience t thanks to Sonia at the front counter. She was very welcoming, explained all the equipment available and made the check in process quick and easy. The facility was clean and well staffed and had everything I needed to get in a great workout.

Everytime I walk into this gym the young ladies working have the worst attitude, it's so sad that I have been only coming to this gym for a week and each time it's the same issue. The little girls they hire for the front have the worse attitude. The young guys are friendly and respectful. What is wrong with being a decent human and saying things politely? I swear they hire young girls on the basis of how nasty they can be with the customer.

I got the membership in order to use the showers as I am traveling a lot it’s relatively clean. The only thing that is a drawback for me is the insane amount of noise from the music. People that work there are friendly and helpful. The workout area is excellent and I have been to three of them in the area where I am right now and they’re consistent across the board.

For the most part, this gym stays clean. I go Tue to Fri since they are open 24hrs those days. They replaced a lot of their machines, which is nice.

I am a long time Planet Fitness member. This location has one of the best selections of fitness equipment of any Planet Fitness I have ever visited. However the location and clientele make for a less than excellent experience. It is located in an economically depressed area and the crime in the area seems substantial (I have seen police arresting people in the parking lot on multiple occasions). Many of the gym patrons are aggressive in their manners. Few people seem to clean their gym equipment after usage. However I have also encountered several nice and considerate patrons as well. Overall the place gets a mixed review.

I have the PF Black card and go to different locations often. This one is older with well used equipment but they keep it pretty clean. The staff is really nice and always helpful. Not bad for a quick workout

What a great start! General manager Lonyi was quick to assist me and get everything done in less than 10 minutes! Very professional and customer oriented! Great start!

I've been coming consistently for 10 months, and I'm satisfied with the location and the variety of options ad well and the cleanliness 😌 staff is nice and friendly. For the most part, if you're coming to do what you're supposed to, then it definitely gets the job done. Would recommend 👌🏽

Great clean place. Not only can you work out but you can use the massage chair or the hydro massage chair and also tan. I love it there and the price is cheap. The people who work there are always running around cleaning the machines, floor etc. Everyone who works there is super friendly. Great staff!! The General Manager SHAUNA is awesome. Always greets me when I come in asking how I am and ALWAYS has a smile on her face. Probably the best GM I've ever met in any business. Shauna makes you feel like you're' at home. Shauna is also very knowledgeable and helpful. The best!!

I haven't been in the gym in a for a while. There was an employee here by the name of Andy or Andrew and he showed me great customer service. He gave me a tour of the new hydro massage chair and even gave me a suggestion of different exercises. Marlene was a also a great host and warm inviting smile. As I left the gym I was greeted by Vandre who's lasting impression made me want to come back and workout again. This is an amazing staff by far at planet fitness! Will come again :-)

This is by far the cleanest location Ive been to so far! The staff is on top of wiping down the machines every hour. Peter is awesome and makes sure everything is pristine while he is there. The showers are always clean and the water is hot! I love this location and have made it my new home gym. If youre in the area I recommend coming to this location over the rest.

Really great team members at he front desk! Very helpful and informative! They helped me easily get started, I am a planet fitness member, just new to this location. Lordes showed me around, and answered all of my questions. Very patient being that I was new. The team was helpful I got my lock stuck a couple times, they even gave me a tutorial. I haven’t used combination locks since middle school. No worries, this team definitely had my back. I’m glad to have such great people at my home gym! 5 STARS! THANK YOU ALL!

Uerrell was very pleasant and thorough. Very polite young man. He gave me a tour and help set me up with the app and explained everything I needed to know. I signed up as a black card member. I couldn’t have been more happier to start my fitness goal in a good environment with a respected atmosphere.

I love my planet fitness. Daniela especially. Always has a great smile and greats everyone with so much positive energy. She’s such a great asset to this brand. She’s an absolute team player and for sure a leader.

This club is amazing! The management,Keith and Shauna, and their staff are uber friendly, courteous, and polite. The floor area is always clean as well as then bathrooms. I always see people cleaning. I left LA Fitness across the street after 15 years; that place is a dump compared to PF. Who cares if this place opened up after they initially promised…that’s construction for you! Glad to see this place is up and running.

Such a nice, clean place and very friendly and positive environment. The staff are super awesome, too. I felt very welcomed! I finally found the gym that fits my needs and made me feel comfortable.

I want to let the location know of how great the service at the front desk was today (4/26/2023) around noon. The staff member at the front desk got a call about a very irate customer. She explained everything to the customer so well and professional and she held her composure on this customer who was quite hostile. The staff member really explained so well what she can do for them and that she wanted to help them very much. She spent so much of her time to try and Deescalate this issue which she did do. She is a rockstar! And people like her should always be at the front desk.

What a great experience. My first time here and Maria really helped me with getting my gear together, Mimi helped me get signed in and up to date, and Jeremy made sure to show me the proper way of keeping the equipment clean. Everyone is so nice and professional happy to call this gym home.

I just visited this location to cancel my membership . A assistant manager named Mariah would rather work out while she was on the clock than do her job. Very poor management. She told me to wait 30 mins for her to finish her workout. Than she would help me. After I said I can’t wait for her to be done. She looked at me and just walked away.
