    Now I enjoy LA fitness as much as the next hard working middle class citizen. However at this establishment I simply could not. After only 20 minutes I decided to leave , the staff especially one guy named Henry were too much of a pain. Therefore I would recommend the termination of Henry’s contract and have him fired like our lord and savior Donald trump does “Your fired!”

    Been going to this location for yrs. Though i was out for a bit I was so thrilled to see new equipments and addition of a junkyard with TRX, ropes, kettlebells etc. This location has a heared pool and zoomba classes, cycling classes and basketball court as well. The gym is always spot on clean with dozens of antibacterial sprays for everyone ti feel safe. The manager Henry and his staff is courteous, knowledgeable if you have questions and always professional. I highly recommend this location it's not my hometown gym but by far my favorite.

    This gym is absolute garbage. Equipment is rusty. Roof has visible leaks and reeks. Andres (the manager?) welcomes you if you have a free day pass asking you for a 5 star review if you want to get in. Absolutely unacceptable. I would give them -5 if I could

    The gym layout is fantastic. It has an excellent infrastructure including a swimming pool with changing rooms. The weight machines are pretty good and the parking lot is ample. I really like myself at this location when in Fort Lauderdale.

    I arrive Saturday at the gym at 6:30 and was denied entrance to the club even though the gym closes at seven. I called and asked why the door was locked and they told me that they close the doors because they close at seven and they don’t want to chase people around. I told them I understand that the gym closes at seven and I’m fine with that, but they still would not let me in. I have been many times to the Fort Lauderdale location and have never been denied entrance-they have just said you know we close in 30 minutes right? Tell me a 30 minute workout is better than no workout.

    The place needs maintenance big time. All of the pads are ripped soaked with sweat and disgusting. Ceiling leaks for months. Black mold growing on the ceiling tiles that they just replace when it falls apart. Hot tub is always disgusting. Half the treadmill belts are loose. Daily cleaning is great but they need some real fixes. But now today they’ve decided the one upgrade they’re going to make is see-through shower curtains! The last thing I needed to see this morning was two guys banging in the showers. Please make it stop

    yesterday December 14th at 8 pm I went to the gym with my brother and mom, they are both visiting and wanted me to come join them. they both have had memberships for more that 15 years. I have my gym but they really wanted me to come.....I have been to a few different locations before and it has never been an issue weather they have guest benefits or not the front desk has always been nice and willing to help. as soon as we arrived the front lady desk (short hair) was snotty and rude. saying that they don't have guest benefits and that if I want to come I have to pay $20 when we all know they have free passes behind them and they constantly hand them away. the manager was rude as well....we explained I am not planning to join because I have my own gym....he suggested to upgrade their membership. mind this they have never have had that benefit and in all locations I have been able to go at least once with the available guest passes. even if you google the place they advertise 2 free guest passes. absolutely ridiculous I go maybe once a year or even less. do not go to this location not worth it

    I have been a member of LA fitness for several years and today I had the worst experience of my life. I have been harassed by one the personal trainers Mill ,at Cypress Creek Station. He was extremely unprofessional and rude to me. Today I was training as usually with my free weights, when he all of a sudden claimed the weights that I was using, stating that I am in wrong spot and he wants to use them..I suggested him to go and pick up some other weights, since they have a lot more and l am using them but he started to shout on me that he needs these weights right now. I told him that he can have them in a few minutes when I am done but he just kept shouting. It was extremely humiliating for me, everyone was looking at me. I went to speak to the manager, Harry, who didn’t seem to bother much. He just doesn’t care about the loyal clients and he accepts his employees being rude and shouting to guests. My whole day was ruined and I will be canceling my membership and my family’s memberships. This is unacceptable, please do yourself a favor and avoid this place.They just care to take your money , and hoping for some extra revenue. Not to mention that is an extremely dirty gym , the mattresses and the bathroom are filthy, but who cares….The manager and his stuff is busy being rude and unprofessional. No wonder why this gym has so many, countless bad reviews. Well deserved.

    I have telling them to clean the air ducts, air filters in the ceiling and nobody does anything. The air vents are covered with black mold, and they are inhaling all that. It is incredible nobody cares and everyone there has the " i just work here" attitude.

    A few nights ago I went to the LA Fitness on Andrews Ave. When I arrived I was putting my clothes in a locker and after my things were inside I saw a live roach!! I moved my stuff to another locker and killed the roach... when I returned before the gym closed and I opened the locker guess what? YES, another LIVE roach running around in my locker... this is GROSS... I'm hoping that no other roaches went into my gym bag, etc. The hot tub is covered in black mold as shown in the pictures, the chair near the hot tub/pool for members who need assistance is all rusted. Also, while in the sauna the janitor was literally sitting INSIDE the sauna for about 25-30 minutes while he should be doing his job, no wonder why the gym is going downhill. While talking to another member he said that when he opened a curtain to a shower he saw the janitor just standing inside the shower, basically trying to hide and kill time. The facility needs to hire better quality employees and take action to correct what their members are complaining about instead of sitting at their desk playing on their iphones and pushing the responsibilty to someone else.

    Woman sitting down on the calf machine talking on the phone for a long time. I asked how many sets she had; first ignored me. Asked again, showed me 3 fingers. I asked if I could jump in; she said no while still on the phone and starting doing it still talking on the phone. Went to front desk and Natalia Ramos went there and said she does not have to share because of COVID, she not even mentioned the phone. The manager came and said the same thing. This is not the first time and the manager and people who work there (which are all on their phones most of the time) back up bad behavior of people at the gym. LA fitness was never worried about COVID, they opened up in the middle of the pandemic and they do not even have alcohol sprays there anymore and barely have spots to wipe the machine. No masks for a very long time. And they still use the excuse, which probably is the same on why they never went back to the hours closing at 11 instead of 10 just to make more money. This gym very very often have groups of 4 or 5 people around many weights and machine just talking, yelling and laughing while not allowing anyone else to jump in. AC on the back machine are is filled with fungus and smells bad. This is a hazard. If you go there don’t waist your time complaining if you experience any of this because they do not care at all.

    If I could give negative stars I would. Had the worst experience at this location. The sales manager Andres Sanso is unprofessional, sneaky, inconvenient and a liar. He withheld information about plans, pushing on me the plan that was most convenient for HIS commission. Then when questioned, he was rude and sneaky. When I decided to cancel within the recession period, he deliberately shuts down the screen so I can't see what he is doing. He owned me a refund of $294 ($359 - $65 = $294) and only processed $166 (told to me by the trainer later on, as when I called corporate they withheld this information). During enrollment, two classes were given "free" by the VP of that location. Which were never really free as I paid initiation fee during a promotional period advertised all over the gym, *free initiation fee until 01/15. FOUR monthly personal training classes are $260. On the app, before cancelation also stated that I had 3 paid classes available for the month, that sums up to $65 used and I expect my full amount of $294 to be refunded. Sneaky Andres has no work ethics and should know better than to mess with people's money. Later, after speaking to corporate they claimed there are $49 and $50 fees. Fine. And still their refund is inaccurate, $164. As I was with corporate on the phone, the agent named Hatti couldn't find the details of my contract. Which I thought was extremely odd. The contract was based on $65/class, and now there is no info on that. Perhaps altered by Andres when he shut the screen off during cancelation?!? Andres S has also harassed me because of my name change, WHICH IS NONE OF HIS BUSINESS! AND HAS ALSO SPOKEN BAD OF MY CHARACTER TO MY TRAINER! In a phone call the trainer questioned my name after being shown my personal profile and told I was a liar, which the name change was used as an argument to defame me. A nice defamation lawsuit will be in the works if this is not resolved accurately and promptly. Canceling all ties to any LA Fitness, expecting my refund for training services not rendered and refund for the monthly membership to be canceled immediately. Hiring unexperienced, unprofessional young boys to do big jobs is giving you a bad name LaFitness. AFTER TRYING TO RESOLVE THIS MATTER THROUGH CORPORATE, I HAVE BEEN PUSHED ASIDE AND THE SAID TRAINER QUESTIONED. WITH THAT BEING SAID, I BELIEVE IT IS SAFE TO SAY THAT I MIGHT NEVER SEE MY FULL REFUND AND THE TRAINER MIGHT GET FIRED. ALL THE TRAINER DID WAS TRY TO BE SUPPORTIVE AND TEND TO MY NEEDS. THE SAID MANAGER FELT OFFENDED AND HAD TO GET PERSONAL. I HONESTLY HOPE THAT THEY REALIZE THAT PEOPLE HAVE FEELINGS, NEEDS AND WANTS. WE ARE NOT MONEY MACHINES. IF ANYTHING, FIRE THE DISRESPECTFUL LYING MANAGER. AND I SUGGEST THE TRAINER GET A LAWYER BEFORE THEY DO HIM WRONG FOR BEING HONEST. I Still hope to get my full refund. Regardless of fees, this has been such a disappointment that I don't want to leave one single cent of mine on their hands. Redeem yourselves from the embarrassment and just refund me the full amount for BOTH memberships canceled. With that being said, I requested cancelation of my monthly membership through corporate with Hatti and never got a cancelation email. Let's see if they at least followed that request accurately.

    This gym is a joke. First they close the kids club with no notice whatsoever to the members, then re-open it because they see how many members cancel their membership after that. Then barely have the kids club open or cut the hours short than what the website and store hours actually say? The staff is horrible. Nothing but kids working there having no idea what theyre doing. Such a waste of money. Highly recommend not wasting your time at this location.

    I stopped at this LA location for the first time today in a while. I was in town, visiting my sister and asked her to join me for a workout. When we got there the lady at the front desk refused to let my sister in even though they have guest passes laying around at the front gate (they even have a tent for them). We've been LA members for several years now and we've never been treated this way. They were really disrespectful and I could tell that they didn't really care. Awful place and customer service, I would not recommend it.

    I have been telling these people to clean the air ducts for weeks! I even got a call from the Main Corporate Office saying they will. They have not done anything about it. I'm joining another club. That is black mold that we are inhaling there. NOT GOOD

    Best LA Fitness around, i’ve been coming to this specific location for years and have never had a complaint. The staff is very professional and welcoming, Henry the general manager is the absolute best, he’s always willing to help and is constantly keeping the gym well kept. Due to covid people are somewhat skeptical of going to a public gym but they provide sprays and keep the gym extremely clean. Overall definitely recommend

    Another pathetic group of gym members that do not deserve memberships. Dumbells are scattered all over the gym....half of them are missing and the other half are in the wrong spot. Management just laughs at the concept of keeping things picked up and educating members on putting things away. I spent so much time looking for weights....I just gave up and left. Besides that this location has the potential to be one of the best in Florida....

    Absolutely love the layout of this particular gym. But it’s really the team that makes it even better, from the front desk smiley face, GM-Henry, who’s very interactive with his members and their guests, to the helpful & resourceful trainers and maintenance workers. Area cleanliness to equipment maintenance at this location is primarily properly maintained, which is vital pre, during and post pandemic. The environment is just a great one, conducive for an awesome workout session. Love it! Keep up the great work guys!

    This club is great the atmosphere is amazing! It’s never too busy so that’s what I love. Andres the General Manager helped me with getting a membership, I’m so excited to start working out. And I love that I can bring 2 guests with me, have access to all the amenities, and that I can visit any LA fitness near me. All of the staff is very friendly and there to help you with anything so don’t be afraid to talk to any of them.

    This location is by far one of the best that I have been to. The cohesive and convenient layout of the equipment makes my workouts so much more time-efficient. Aside from the equipment, the staff is exceptional. Andres, the general manager, is an evident leader and I don’t think I have ever been working out and did not see one of the staff members cleaning. Also, I get a protein smoothie everyday at the juice bar and the owner, Robert, is so personable and welcoming. I love the positive environment and look forward to continuing my fitness journey with this gym.

    The physical trainer JB is completely unprofessional and tries to gaslight and pressurize you into signing up for a training plan. If not, he acts childish saying he'll understand if I don't sign up if it means it will take food off my table. I cancelled my membership and took it elsewhere. And based on other reviews on other forums, it looks like this is a common pattern for these trainers where they are Dr. Jekyll when providing the "free" health assessment and Mr. Hyde when trying to sell their training programs.

    Don't sign up here. They lie about cancellation policy. They say its a requirement that the general manager be there and can only do it in person when GM is present. I called two other locations and they indicated this is a straight up lie.

    One of the less attractive, clean and organized locations in the area. Could be much better. I feel as if the quality and experience of LA Fitness facilities have declined all over in the last 5-7 years.

    One the cleanest La Fitnesses around. Great staff that are extremely informed about all the different machines. The trainers there know a bunch of different styles of training and are very adaptable which I love. Especially since I had a bad experience with my trainer before. They really helped me grow and the Personal training director, Maria was very helpful and gave me a lot of tips and tricks I never knew about. Thank you for helping me finally find my gym.

    We’ve been in this gym for over 10 years. Always good people but what stands more is the managing: Henry is been taking care of this LA Fitness very well. Always taking care of the equipment, maintaining very clean, and super organized. During HARD times, he has proved not only the dedication to his position but he cares about clients, and that’s hard to find. Keep the good work !

    This is by far the best La Fitness location. Henry Williams the GM has always been so welcoming and professional. He is often seen picking up weights and is always so personable. I won’t go to any other La Fitness location because the staff and members are always so nice.

    Gym has a good atmosphere. Decent amount of free weights and machines. Great turf area for box jumps/ tire flips/ lunges/ functional fitness. People (staff and other gym goers) are friendly. Equipment is well maintained. Gym and change rooms are always kept clean. I’ve been going here for about two years, and continue to love working out here

    This gym is one of the nicest and most friendly gym that I have ever been a member of. The facility is kept in great condition and the staff continues to exceed my expectations. I feel comfortable and very happy coming here every day to get a great workout. The general Manager “Henry” is very professional and helpful. I would recommend this gym to any person with any level of lifting experience.

    I’ve been coming to this gym since they reopened after the pandemic. I love this gym because of how clean and organized it is. If I have every had an issue Henry has always been able to help and solve my issue. This gym has a warm and welcoming environment. The best LA Fitness in my opinion!

    They don’t open the club on time on the weekends. August 27 and September 9. No one opened up. Waited 15 minutes. No show. Messy. Bad management. Previous manager use to have the club and dumbbell section in order. Now the weights are all over the place. Not well run.

    Management needs to step up. Maintenance is either great or non existing. There is one guy that must be related to Management. he Pushes a garbage can around and picks up paper with a pair of tongs. That's it. Have never seen him bend over. All other Maintenance workers work twice as hard. Over two years now.

    Decent gym but you literally can’t go at night. I pay 30 something a month for a gym that literally has more people in it than pieces of equipment. Will be looking to move soon as my new schedule requires me to be able to use the gym during the evening/night. I’m not kidding when I tell you that they allow more people in the gym then there is actual equipment. If you’re new in the area and looking for a gym I would look elsewhere

    The General Manager Jerry at this location is unprofessional and not customer/client centric. I visited last month to cancel my membership and was still charged, I called to resolve the issue and was scolded saying I needed to speak or the Operations Manager to process (Not my fault the employee there didn’t advise). Jerry still refused to cancel my membership.

    This location is more spacious than the other ones. It nice but some of the equipments are just so rusted up. They also have only one of the favorite machines like the rear deltoid and pec dec machines.

    ANDRES WAS VERY HELPFUL. Gave me a tour of this place , the place was very clean, friendly staff ,and I fell in love. I love how all the classes are included . Discount on my smoothie and I can bring any two guest with me at any location. I love how this place has a sauna. Hopefully one day they can add the steam room like the other locations! You should come here and check it out if you want to join a healthier lifestyle 😁

    Good luck ever canceling your membership to LA Fitness. You can either download a form and mail it to their headquarters in California, which can take at least a week, and which means you could be charged for another month, or you can take time off of work as you need to physically go into an LA Fitness location during work hours, M-F, 9a-5pm. God help you in ever being able to cancel.

    I went to the gym for the first time and it has very good facilities and I felt very well taken care of at the front desk with the staff. With some girls called Maria Del Mar and Natalia, the women treated me very well and made me make a very good impression of the gym. Definitely I will get a membership in this gym.

    I really enjoy coming to this gym. I am a major fan of Carisia's spin class. She is such an amazing person and her class is so much fun; you are basically dancing on your bike the whole time there, well at least I am :). I come out drenched in sweat! Also, the community vibe within the room is great, everyone is really cool and you literally walk out energized. In addition to spin, I do training sessions with Tatiana, who is awesome. Every session she challenges my body more and more and every session we are doing something completely different which I can replicate when I'm on the floor working out on my own. I am definitely noticing the change in my strength and my body composition. :)

    I’ve been coming to this gym for quite sometime now and everything is fine except the sauna. I don’t understand how the employees don’t check each day to make sure it’s working. I come early in the morning right at opening and by the time I’m ready to go in, it’s not on or hot. Leaving now in the middle of the day and again it’s not on. Went to tell a manager and they look at you with a dumb look asking if the timer is on. Yes the timer is on but did you even check to see it was working? The poor cleaning lady is trying to figure it out while I’m helping her until I gave up. As I was leaving I said it still wasn’t working and she couldn’t figure it out and the lady at the front didn’t say anything. This generation of work ethic is hopeless. Let’s hope someone with higher management power sees this and fixes it. It’s as simple as checking it each day to make sure it’s on.

    Club is always clean and the staff is super friendly! The GM Henry always goes out of his way to make sure his club is clean and that the weights are are where they’re supposed to be. Definitely the best LA Fitness that I’ve been to so far and would rather make the 30min drive just to get here. Would definitely give 6*s if able to!

    After reading the other reviews about how rude the gym's management is by nagging people about re-racking the weights and not yelling in the gym and having some decent to decorum I knew I had to visit this gym. I was not disappointed. This gym is the cleanest and most organized LA Fitness I've been to and I've been to at least 10 in South Florida. Every weight was where it was supposed to be and this about the 5pm rush hour. The floors were spotless. I shall return even though I will pass by another LA Fitness to get here.

    This LA Fitness has a very friendly sociable staff and instructors. I frequent many of the different LA Fitness's in Broward and I can say hands down the one in Ft Lauderdale off of Andrews has the best manager!
