After being stuck in my house for the last 10 days, I finally got out to go get breakfast. The cutest little food truck is parked permanently right around the corner from my condo and I've been there quite a few times before. They are open for breakfast and lunch only, and located a stones throw from Wine Garden and Archibald's Bakery on Breakers Ave, off A1A at the beach. Today I ordered two iced coffees, and the most beautiful egg croissant, appropriately called the Bella. A fluffy, super fresh croissant, scrambled eggs, avocado, parmesan flakes, sprinkled with everything seasoning, topped with perfectly crisped bacon and side of fresh strawberries. It was heavenly. The iced coffee is so delicious that I ordered two, it's a perfectly brewed Bustello, with a frozen block of coffee ice, so as not to water down the drink. After not having coffee for 10 days, I definitely enjoyed it even more than usual. The food truck is run by a brother and sister, the NICEST people, and my breakfast as always was perfect. Last time I was there I had the most beautiful salad with a bunch of fresh toppings. It was prettier than a picture and I didn't feel like uggghhhh, a salad for lunch. 😂 They recently changed their hours, now open 6 am to 12pm-ish because it's just so darn hot this summer. Which works out great for me as now I can stop on my way to work. This place is definitely a hidden gem!!

The food is delicious and fast. I got this BLT bagel and added eggs and bacon and a large mimosa. It was just under $30. They added a little umbrella which was a nice surprise when I opened the to-go box. You can also get it to dine outside and sit in comfy lounge chairs under tables with umbrellas. Definitely a very enjoyable casual breakfast/brunch! Enjoy!

This man makes the best chicken sandwich in the history of mankind, the fries are delectable, and the coffee he uses is the best a man can get his hands on. Based on my experience here, I am sure that everything he makes is about as good as one can get. I strongly recommend The Plaza Bistro to everyone in Ft. Lauderdale and anyone visiting who doesn't know about it. It truly is a gem of a restaurant and Gunnar the owner is a really awesome dude and excellent cook.

Perfect food-truck-style dining with a great little patio and seating. Expect four or five items offered covering most of the dietary preferences. I had an open faced croissant breakfast sandwich and my husband had a parfait bowl; both were solid without being pretentious or overly complicated. A mimosa and unlimited coffee made it a perfect brunch in beautiful Spring weather.

What a wonderful spot, we just spontaneously stopped for coffee, they have this incredible iced coffee, they put a coffee ice cube in so as it melts it does not dilute! Try the Kili, perfect light breakfast. Christina and Gunnar are the perfect hosts, wonderful morning here at this family place

Best breakfast place in the area. Glad that we found that hidden gem. Food is fresh, delicious and healthy. The patio is very nice and music is perfect. Service is fast, efficient and very friendly. We will be back.

This is the best find in Ft. Lauderdale. Gunner makes an amazing plate and mimosa! And definitely don’t skip the iced coffee!! 10x better than you’ll get at the nearby popular chain. The food, the atmosphere, Gunner..all added to the charm and deliciousness of this cute outdoor spot! Hands down a fantastic breakfast I’ll be talking about for years!

Excellent breakfast in every way! Two of us shared the Bella and it was a lot of food! Scrambled eggs, bacon, avocado, and shaved Parmesan on a delicious croissant. We ordered an extra croissant just in case. We absolutely didn’t need it but it was so delicious we ate it all anyway! The service is friendly and efficient, the prices are fair, and the patio is shaded and very inviting. 6 stars!

Gunner and Kristina were exceptionally friendly, warm, and welcoming! Not to mention everything on the menu is absolutely wonderful. I tried the “Aura” juice and it was wonderful. Tasted like heaven. I definitely recommend coming here! Great vibes and a wonderful atmosphere!

Delicious breakfast in Fort Lauderdale before heading to my cruise! I got The Bella which was scrambled eggs, avocado, bacon and parmesan cheese on a croissant with strawberries! Fast and friendly service. I definitely recommend stopping here for food. You will not be disappointed!

Gunner and his sister are so kind, attentive, and friendly. They definitely make you feel like family. The food is excellent and the ambiance makes the place feel like a hidden oasis! You should definitely check it out, you won't be disappointed.

My girlfriends and I passed by this place on a walk, and we stopped because of the great vibes and delicious looking menu. We were not disappointed! The food (we all got the Bella) was delicious, topped with fresh strawberries and perfectly ripe avocado. I highly recommend this place on your next visit to the beach!

I absolutely loved this place! Such a peaceful atmosphere to go have breakfast by the beach. I loved the lounge style tables, the relaxed outside atmosphere was perfect for going with my two small children. Best of all the food was top notch, all made to order and super fresh! I had the egg sandwich on a croissant with avocado, bacon, and parmesan, it was delicious! I will definitely be back!!

It was a great breakfast (a little greasy) with an adorable outdoor seating area. The menu is limited right now but the owner said now that COVID19 is somewhat behind us he will add to the menu. Even though there are umbrellas and shady spots, it is still very hot to sit outside in the summertime. It's a pleasant place to have lunch or breakfast but very pricey. Everything in North Beach Fort Lauderdale is expensive!

Wow, what a fresh and delightful stop for brunch! Service is impeccable, food is fresh and such a refreshing creative take on familiar recipes. I had the Kili; an open faced mountain of avocado, tomato, feta, with a drizzle of balsamic reduction... omg goood. Portion was more than enough to get me going. My hubby enjoyed the Bella; scrambled eggs, bacon, avocado, fresh parm thinly sliced, over an open faced split croissant..also strawberries on the side. I would definitely recommend this little hidden gem on the corner of Breakers and Belmar.

Owners Gunner and Christina are wonderful!! Friendly and cheerful service. Small all day breakfast menu, made with quality products. Do you enjoy coffee? Definitely worth trying their iced coffee with "special" cubes. No spoilers here, you'll have to visit!

Wow, just wow. The food was delicious, fresh and plentiful. The prices are great for a resort area. Am looking forward to our next trip to ft Lauderdale beach to eat here again

Simple but great offerings. Wine and beer, too! Coconut shrimp cooked perfectly and came with fries. Wonderful live music - Wednesday evening - on a relaxing patio. Owner/Manager, Gunnar, was friendly and made sure everything was satisfactory at all times!

I just gave five stars to a food truck! What else needs to be said? Most are overrated and over priced. This is neither. Stopped for a burger and fries yesterday. The patty was hand made, on the spot, fresh and perfectly seasoned. Same for the fries; perfectly golden and crispy and fresh from the fryer. Came by this morning for the breakfast. I like my eggs over medium. Not something most places can comprehend or make with sucres. This guy did. Sausage was, again, fresh and perfectly seasoned. He makes his own iced coffee. It is lighter in flavor so those of you who prefer you coffee burnt won’t love it. This smart man makes coffee ice cubes to go put in the coffee. Super nice guy owns and runs the place. The food takes a little longer since each order is fresh, but you will be treated like you are visiting your brother’s house. Evidenced by all the regulars i saw come by who ask for “the usual” and then chat him up. Don’t miss this casual spot for great food.
