This is an awesome little hole in the wall local spot. The food and beer is amazing. The fish tacos really hit the spot. Fried perfectly and the consistency was on point. The guacamole was extremely fresh and you could taste the quality. The beer selection is also quite extensive. Great vibes and atmosphere.

This family owned restaurant does not disappoint. All the options are fresh and made in house from tortillas to daily specials. My personal favorite is the mini sopes and guacamole. It’s worth getting both options. And for more fun they have an excellent craft beer selection!

First off, I’m a little disappointed that it took me this long to stop by and check this place out because it was phenomenalllll! The crowd reminded me of my days in NYC visiting “hole-in-the-wall” places run by owners and their families who knew your name and favorite drink. The music was different than what I’m used to hearing in this area which was a nice twist. The owners were sooo sweet. Wife waits tables and husband runs the bar. Everything was smooth sailing and the drinks were great. My husband and I ordered red sangrias (I had the guava version which was delicious) We ordered guacamole and chips—delicious guac 🥑 I ordered the chicken enchiladas with medium salsa and double beans-no rice. Delicious and fresh. My husband ordered 3 tacos. Chicken, beef, pork. He said they were all good, but the pork was his fave. That says a lot because he was hesitant in ordering pork at all. Dessert— we ordered the churro sundae. I’m glad we took the recommendation as it was delicious. This will definitely become a regular spot for us. I already can’t wait to share with family and friends nearby.

Amazing little gem we stumbled on after the USWNT game. Owned and operated by husband and wife duo. food was amazing, service was even better. Can not recommend enough. Small spot, impeccably clean and food was delicious. What more could you ask for?

It is such a warm and cozy family-owned mexican restaurant. We liked the story of the place too and all dishes were yummy!

This is my girl and I's most favorite spot ever. She's of Mexican descent and the food here is 100% authentic to real at-home Mexican cuisine. The owners are incredibly friendly. Matt knows all about the beer and Alicia knows all about the cuisine! Highly recommend this spot. Great beer selection for any palette, and hey, why not get some spicy enchiladas with that? P.S - You've got to try their spicy salsa if you're a spicehead like me!

Visited this cozy family-owned Mexican restaurant in Fort Lauderdale and was immediately struck by the vibrant energy and warmth. The owner, a wonderful woman, runs the place with such passion and dedication that it’s palpable. Not only were the vibes positive, but the food was absolutely delightful. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a genuine and delicious Mexican experience!

Only great things to say about this place. Great food. Wonderful owners and staff. And cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the mood for some great Mexican food with an awesome beer selection.

I’m in here twice a week. Matt and Alicia & Ali are great neighbors & tons of fun. Their restaurant is clean, the food is out of this world and the service is just family - so it’s perfection! They are constantly posting the specials on Instagram - which gets me obsessed and then I HAVE to go…. SCRUMPTIOUS tacos and the like and my partner loves their carefully curated craft beer selection. Check them out! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great Family owned and Operated place to eat. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. Have to give to raise to both the food and the warm vibes. This is a must try, get anything on the menu, you won’t go wrong. This is not your typical overly commercialized Mexican restaurant, so do not expect that. Enjoy the food, drinks, and atmosphere.

This place is simply amazing. The food is fresh made with love and heart, and the beer selection is always solid, no matter your palate. We’ve been coming for years and it feels like family. We don’t live in the area any longer, but every time we are down in South Florida, this is a must-visit. We love Matt & Alicia, their kids and pet-kids, and the community they helped create for us regulars. I really hope people continue to drop in and experience the magic that is here. Your tummy will thank you!

Found this gem exploring the area for mexican food and gladly I did! The food was delicious (had burritos, tacos and nachos), the service was super friendly (don’t remember the name but it was the guy our server) and the place is small but has a cool vibe and feels cozy! Definitely coming back :)

One of my favorite local spots. The food is incredible and there’s an impressive and constantly rotating selection of craft beer. Don’t like beer? The guava sangria is second to none. Always start with fresh guacamole and home made chips then I usually get whatever their special of the day is. Matt and Alicia are the most hospitable owners and always welcome you in like family.

Service was great this is a small family owned business and the owners are friends with many people that stop by to eat. It’s like a family. they all worked very hard around the place, and it was a very nice environment to be in. The food was great we had Birria tacos, chips and salsa, a corn on the cob and a churro Sunday for desert, the Birria has some special spices and it’s unlike others, it was really good along with the really tasty chips and salsa. I recommend you come here if your having a tough time deciding which place to eat at because this place is definitely a winning pick.

The best mom & pop Mexican restaurant you’ll ever go to!! The owners make you feel like you’re part of the family, great atmosphere, & the food is amazing. The Birria tacos were incredible and so flavorful! I can’t wait to come back!

Quvo is a fantastic choice for a cozy dinner with amazing food. The tacos are the best in town and there is a variety of drinks to choose from. It's a great place to grab a quick drink and appetizer or have a nice dinner meal with friends and family. The owner's Matt & Alicia are lovely people and clearly put pride into their restaurant; both in terms of the food they serve and dining experience they offer at Quvo.

Holy smokes that was some great authentic street style tacos! I was so excited when I saw them that I “oinked” them all down before I thought to take a pic. Great in house sauces too! I would drive out of my way to come back here again!

Quvo is simply fantastic due to Matt and Alicia. The attention to detail is 2nd to none. Every one is treated like family. The food is authentic and cooked to perfection. Matt's knowledge of all the brews is incredible. Truly a gem of a restaurant.

It's not especially helpful to compare this restaurant to one with a similar menu that I like. What I will do is tell you is this: -the Chili Colorado burrito was the texture of damp-dried cardboard and was without spice, seemingly lacking even in salt and pepper -the amount of salsa with an order of tortilla chips was about two tablespoons -the churros were not the crispy cinnamon-sugar deep fried sweet treat, but rather a doughy bread knot coated with sugar and served with two tablespoons each pasty caramel and Hershey-like, though not as good, chocolate syrup -the service, while reasonably polite was slow -the decor/setting had the character of no where

Found this hidden gem when looking for a Taco spot on Tuesday. The owners Alicia and Matt were there working and accommodated us. The food is authentic and delicious. The craft beer really good. Great place and will definitely come back.

We ordered two beef Enchilada dinners using DoorDash. First, the portion size was certainly NOT worth the price. Second, the food quality, and taste, was not worth the price. To be honest, it tasted like an Old El Paso taco dinner kit all rolled up into a taquito-sized tortilla. Very disappointed and certainly will not order from here again.

This place is just wonderful! A small business establishment, tucked away in a tiny strip plaza that serves some of the most amazing tacos and craft beer/mead around. Owned by husband and wife who are amazing, friendly people! They have specials everyday, cooked fresh in house that definitely satisfies every inch of your body and soul. Must try the churros....good gosh they are mouth watering. Love the simple decor and considering the size of the place, they have quite a decent size seating area. The tall tables and chairs really work. The music selection is awesome! I love this place and would definitely recommend paying them a visit. Great place to take your family.

I wish I knew about this spot sooner as it is most excellent! Amazing flavors from appetizer to dessert! The fresh homemade hot sauces were so flavorful & the spice did not overpower their flavor. Very generous portion sizes on entrees. Chicharrones appetizer was yummy as well as the churros for dessert. A few beer selections were unavailable, but otherwise Quvo did not disappoint. The crew will be back very soon. My son said it was his second favorite restaurant (first is Area Code 55). The owners were super friendly. Restaurant had a chill vibe, great music, & was extremely clean.

I reserve Google Reviews only for businesses that do something that's flawlessly above-and-beyond. Happened upon Quvo Taco while visiting Ft. Lauderdale and was blown away by the beer selection. Very unique and amazing quality. Had the Stout. Staff was friendly and accommodating as can be and the food was perfect. Not that chips are a big deal, but these are EXACTLY the way I view "The Perfect Chip"; and, of course, their guacamole - done right. Tacos were awesome. Will be back ASAP.
