A group of my friends and I visited here for the first time, and we all had an amazing time. The vibes, the atmosphere, the music and staff, everything was great. Our instructor Matt was so friendly, and even had a little one one game going with the guys from my group. I definitely recommend visiting here for a little friendly compaction of axe throwing. Also, the drinks from their cocktail menu are all delicious.

Incredible experience, and the drinks…on point! Kyle is the best teacher (“axepert”) you’ll meet there, ask for him and have himself make you some “I’m Ron Burgundy?”. 🥃 Will definitely come back for more axe throwing.

If you want to go axe throwing, make sure you go to Chops + Hops. Hands down the coolest axe throwing place. I have gone a few times and it never disappoints. It’s my go-to axe throwing place. If you try it, I’m sure it’ll become yours too. Unless your group consists of 8 people, you’ll be paired with new people. This is honestly the best part because it makes the experience so much more entertaining and competitive! The bartenders make really great drinks. I usually get a strawberry margarita and it’s amazing! Highly recommend getting a drink while you play. After you are done axe throwing, you can hang out in the patio. My favorite spot is thee swing, but they have lots of chairs and tables where you can hang out and play games. Last night it was raining, so we stayed indoors. We made friends with our entire team and stayed afterward playing Jenga. Great place for date night, hanging out with friends and/or meeting new people!

It was my first time going and I loved it. Made reservations the week before. It's a must b/c weekends get sold out very quickly. The staff was very friendly. They have an employee in the cage guiding you and keeping your score. I forgot the guy that was with us but he was young with curly hair. He was awesome!! They pair you off in twos to play in teams. Now that I had some practice, I will definitely be back to sharpen my skills. I highly recommend. It was a great date night! The only Con is the parking situation. Be sure to read your confirmation email on where you can park so you don't get towed.

Great time with friends tonight. Bar menu needs to be expanded. Miss the lobster roll an other items that use to be available. Drinks were very good! If u like them sweet like me get the Thikk boi and Berry Smash( i think thats the name)

Service, Cocktails and Experience were all exceptional. I wish I had food but imagine it too was not going to disappoint. I parked far and walked over here but it looks like parking gets easier the later you go.

My husband has been wanting to go axe throwing for months and I was always blah about it. Well for our anniversary I finally said let’s do it. The experience was SO cool! So fun and we found out I am a better axe thrower than him haha! Food and drinks were awesome as well! Great vibes and great music playing in the background. Cool place for a date night or with friends. Since it was 2 of us we did play with 6 strangers but 2 people get in the cage and throw at the same time. We had some fun friendly competition with the strangers! We are coming back here for the good vibes and bringing friends!!

Went with a group of 8 friends and we had an amazing time! A few first timers in the group had no problems getting a hang of things, the instructor (sorry, forgot her name!) was fantastic!! The vibes around the place is great too, there's a live band and the drinks were delicious! I have to agree with their description of the espresso martini, "Stay Woke", as it truly is the best espresso martini in town!

What a blast! If you’re looking for something FUN and different to do you must check this place out! We went around 7pm this past Saturday. There were 9 of us so we had our own bay with two target boards. There was plenty of seating and the drinks were on point!! We were celebrating two birthdays so I have to say DAKOTA made our night!! He was our host on Saturday. He ran different games for us and kept score which was great considering it’s hard to do that with a large group (especially while drinking lol). Everyone one there was professional and fun! They are also very safe. The live band was great! We would have liked to enjoy the outdoor patio with more games but it was raining. We will definitely be going back!!

Good active fun, the games were a nice way to mix it up—my favorite was cricket 🏏. Armaedo (pardoned if his name is misspelled) was a great trainer and kept us newbies encouraged. 🪓

Way more fun than darts or corn hole. It's a very satisfying feeling when the blade sticks in the target. The staff were super friendly and helpful, adding to the fun. 10 is the most we would have for a group, so everyone gets throw time. I think I found my calling😃

First time doing something like this and it was a blast. Our ax host was awesome, funny girl, really made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend this if you’ve never tried anything like this.

It was a great date night with hubby. It was a fun night for the books; awesome vibes! And if you have never thrown an ax before, you will definitely learn! Chaz was a great instructor! Drinks were lit. Ask for the Matthew’s special when you’re here 😉 it’s one of the best!

*make sure you wear close toed shoes here. They do have rental sneakers for $10 though. Such a fun and unique experience to do with friends. Mathew was a super fun instructor and taught my friend and I a lot of helpful axe throwing techniques. The bartenders were also really friendly and made great drinks. Highly recommend this place. Our group had so much fun! We felt safe at all times. Our 'guide' kept it challenging by keeping score, giving us tips/techniques to have better aim/throws and was just a nice guy overall. They have a pretty cool bar to keep you hydrated. The music also kept for an upbeat vibe.

It was so much fun! It was my first time and we had a blast. The instructors give you tips on how to throw and they have different games to keep it fun and competitive. I had the espresso martini and it was delish. While we waited we plaid jenga and connect four. Bathrooms were clean. Definitely something I would do again.

I had an incredible experience at Chops and Hops axe throwing! The vibe was outstanding, the drinks, especially the "Fat Boi," were delicious, and Cody, our instructor, made the evening incredibly fun. I’m not a professional axe thrower yet, but Cody is going to get me there. Can't wait to go back for more!

The atmosphere is great. The music, on point. The staff are super cool and friendly and made sure we had a great time. Our bartender was Chaz from CT and his drinks were excellent. Mathew helped us out with our axe throwing, taught us trick shots and kept it fun and engaging even for beginners. We had a blast. We are from out of state but will be coming back. Davidf ;-)

Fun times in a casual environment. Our trainer Kyle was hilarious and the three other pairs we were matched with were a lot of fun. Book a time in advance for the axe throwing. If you have less than 8 people, you’ll be matched with other groups. The Berry The Hatchett cocktail and the Old Money Old Fashioned cocktail are delicious. The kitchen wasn’t open when we visited, but you can have anything delivered via UberEats, etc.

Amazing experience! We celebrated a birthday last night and were a larger group of 14. Nikki was super helpful and responsive in making the registration process seamless. Brandy facilitated our group during the session and was amazing, she had great energy and made the experience fun for everyone. The drinks and food were great as well. 10/10 recommend!

An amazing experience as always! Dino was an amazing axe throwing coach! Knowledgeable and experienced!! All the staff was phenomenal. The bar manager made sure to accommodate us when our time was messed up due to our last minute booking.

I’ve been to over 6 different axe throwing locations, in other states as well as a few locally. This has been by far the best ambiance for a social environment. These are the only instructors who are solely focused on your team and with interactive games. Chops and hops is Excellent for date night, group outings, family events, birthdays, etc. I’ve literally done it all here. Food, cocktails, and staff are amazing! Sabrina is new and already a great addition to their team by her enthusiasm of working there. She was awesome! Can’t wait to come back! Thanks for being great hosts to the community!

We had a blast Jeff the manager was so nice because we arrived late and coildnt actual do it on our scheduled day but had to reschedule the next day but manager comped us drinks..when we actual did participate and really had a lot of fun..great for couples

Awesome venue. Great for a night out with friends or for a date. The staff is very friendly. The food and drinks were all great, and the axe throwing was a blast! I can't recommend this place enough.

Over all experience was great! The only thing I must highlight is the response back from the C+H in regards to e-mails. I tried calling but was unable to get a human being on the phone, only machine. Due to strict cancelation policy in play, I needed to get a response back prior to my 7PM reservation. I sent an e-mail at 4:30PM the day of my reservation, and did not get a response back until 11:07PM, which defeated the purpose of sending the email in the first place. The team did not acknowledge the late response either. Must work in responding back to customers in a timely fashion. BUT! the experience was awesome! Would recommend!

My department at our company checked out this venue last night. Outside of some minor parking issues (can't be helped), we had a great experience. The drinks were delicious and diverse, the axe booths were well designed, and our Chops point person, Melissa, was very encouraging and kept spurring us on. I loved the aesthetics of the venue and the overall vibe. We will definitely be back in the near future for another department outing!

My 3 girlfriends and I did a girl's night out on a Sunday night, it was so great. Adam (car) was awesome and engaging. I have been many times before and he was by far the best instructor I have had. The espresso martini was great! Cocktail prices are reasonable, overall just a 5-star experience!
