We could not have been happier with our stay at the Hotel Maren in Fort Lauderdale. First, the location was amazing, perfectly situated across from Central Beach and close to all the bars and restaurants but still very quiet. Valet parking is very convenient with a top notch, attentive staff. All the employees have clearly been well trained to meet every need, and I especially want to call out Sean and Jeffrey who were both professional and very helpful during our stay. We had had a very long day by the time we arrived for check in and the General Manager Stu so kindly upgraded us to an ocean view room and WOW!!!!! Great view doesn't even begin to describe it! I woke up each morning to take pictures of the incredible sunrise! Our room was new, modern and spotless and we could keep our screen doors open and enjoy the sound of the waves, while also enjoying a view of the gorgeous pool. Comfortable bed and a shower with great water pressure too. We loved the free drinks included with the room (the frose was delicious) and enjoyed sitting on the couches in front of the entrance with a view of the ocean. The overhead lights provided a little heat on a chilly night too. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the hotel restaurant one morning and loved the people watching and stellar service. Finally, a big shout out to the GM Stu who took the time to chat with us and could not have been nicer. You can tell he loves his job. He has assembled and trained a fabulous staff (including the hostess at the restaurant and the members of housekeeping). We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back!

I recently stayed at the Hotel Maren Fort Lauderdale Beach, Curio Collection and I have to say the setting, amenities and service at the hotel are top notch. The hotel is located directly across the street from beach access and looking out the window to see the ocean from our balcony was a lovely way to put us in the vacation frame of mind. The location is truly unbeatable. The staff was extremely friendly and they went out of their way to ensure that our trip was amazing. I am a little of a clean freak and this hotel put my mind to ease with how well kept their facilities are. The bedding and bathrooms are particularly clean. I packed my own sheets but didn't need to use them during my stay as the sheets were extremely clean and comfortable. We were able to enjoy 5 star amenities and accommodations at a 3 star price. I have stayed at many Fort Lauderdale beach hotels and the Maren is by far the best bang for your buck. Thank you to the staff for making our trip amazing and we are excited to see you in a few months when we come back to stay with you!

Beautiful curated hotel for those who likes to enjoy modern and comfortable luxury stay. Hotel have an easy access to the marina and ocean side. The environment is very clean and well maintained. There’s friendly staff who works in every department in the hotel, you will feel at home. Our favorite part is the huge balcony facing the ocean with loungers and chairs to relax in. Rooms are spacious and very relaxing. We love the fact that Starbucks is attached to the hotel along with a gift shop. The restaurant serves delicious food and it’s always a delightful dining experience. We will definitely stay here again if we travel to Fort Lauderdale in the future. A true vacation !

Beautiful hotel! We really enjoyed our stay here. Every staff member was kind and helpful. The valet guys were the best! The restaurant had great food that we really enjoyed. The beach is beautiful. Great location and many restaurants nearby are easily walkable.

My wife and I recently stayed at Hotel Maren on Fort Lauderdale Beach, the facility and staff were incredible. Our room was in pristine condition and the bed/sheets were super soft. The location is absolutely perfect and the view from our balcony was simply breathtaking.The hotel is located directly on the beach, which made our morning walks to local restaurants an absolute joy. The room we booked included chairs and umbrella on the beach, which allowed us to enjoy the Fort Lauderdale beach for hours. The front desk staff gave us perfect recommendations for lunch and dinner reservations near by. They were extremely friendly during our entire stay. I have absolutely no complaints on our trip. I will be recommending the hotel to our friends and will definitely be going back. Thank you to everyone who made our stay amazing.

I LOVE this hotel!!! Ive visited 2 years in a row and both times were phenomenal! The property is beautiful and clean. The room was great ( make sure you get a balcony facing the ocean!). Complimentary drink tickets… complementary beach chairs & towels… great pool… truly a 10 out of 10. And Kassandra at the front desk is amazing! Simply an outstanding hotel!! Upon arrival, Sean (concierge) greeted us and assisted us with our luggage. As I was checking in, I realized I had left my iPhone on top of my vehicle, and Sean sprinted down into the garage where it was thankfully still where I’d left it! He literally saved the day!!! Location is absolutely perfect, right across from the beach and within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and extremely helpful. Our room had an outstanding view of the beach and ocean, and was humongous! Thank you so much for your hospitality, we will definitely stay here the next time we are visiting Fort Lauderdale!

We stayed three nights at Hotel Maren Fort Lauderdale. We had a good time during my stay. To start with, the check in process was quick and easy. I didn’t know how the hotel trained their staff, but I’m sure that they did a phenomenal job. All of the staff are professional and friendly. I felt welcomed there. In addition, the hotel room was sparkling clean and the housekeeping stopped by every morning to refill bottle water and replace towels. We booked the premium ocean view room and the room was spacious and the view was amazing. We ordered some food and watched sunset whiling enjoying the food. The resort fee covered two beach chairs and two drinks per day. If you want a beach umbrella, you would have to pay additional $25. We also attended the free yoga class by the pool. This is the perfect way to start your day with.

Recently traveled to Ft Lauderdale for a quick recharge weekend with my family before my son leaves for college life. We wanted something that was clean, safe, close to the beach and close to activities. We choose the Hotel Maren and it did not disappoint! The Maren and its staff exceeded our expectations on many levels, most notable the friendliness and smiles from every employee we encountered. We also had the opportunity to meet the Hotel GM Stuart Levy, I now understand why the employees have such great attitudes, he took the time from his day to speak in detail about the area, local restaurants, shops etc. Great experience and will be back!

Absolutely beautiful. Beautiful rooms, pool, view, food and staff. The bellhop was so kind and accommodating. The front desk were so polite and friendly and even the hostess in the restaurant would always greet our family personally when we walked by. Oh and the beach chair/umbrella guy was super nice too. will definitely stay here again! Only downside is valet takes forever and it can be frustrating when you have little ones all packed up ready to go.

The Hotel Maren is gorgeous! My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The staff is all so friendly and helpful, especially Sean who greeted us upon arrival and made sure we had drink tickets and beach loungers while waiting for our room to ready. The hotel was sparkling clean and the location is perfect. We are coming back next year!! Views from marina view rooms are beautiful. The only thing lacking is a full length mirror in the rooms or even an additional mirror in the room to help get ready if someone is in the bathroom.

One of the nicest place to stay in fort Lauderdale. It’s an expensive place to stay but everything was worth it. My husband was a member so we got some additional perks. It’s a perfect beach front hotel also got a room upgrade. One of the cleanest private beaches I’ve been to and very close to the airport.

Maren was top notch when comparing them to other Hotels we stay in throughout the year! The whole hotel was spotless, you actually seen people cleaning and keeping it up throughout the day! The rooms were bigger than most other hotels you stay in, beds were nice, bathrooms were huge and nice! If I had a complaint, (I don’t like to nitpick) The only complaint I would have would be that our balcony had no chairs to set on; which made a balcony a bit awkward to enjoy. I personally enjoyed the Valet service, Even though I feel it would be smarter if they took the price from $48 per night to around $20 a night, this would help their Valet Servicemen with tips; being you already paid $250 per night for the rooms. Other than that… We’d stay here again 100%.

The entire staff from valet to front desk to restaurant/bar to housekeeping were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was amazing, try the waffles and French toast. The rooms and pool were clean, but the beach and sand were littered with trash. As diamond members, we were not given a room upgrade until we asked for it at check-in, even though the hotel had plenty of better rooms in their inventory for our entire stay. Review the parking policy if you are bringing a full-size pickup truck.

Everything was wonderful from start to finish. As soon as we pulled up we were greeted by a bellhop who immediately unloaded our luggage while we checked in. Check-in was simple and fast and our luggage was brought to our room and unloaded for us immediately after we check-in. The room was very spacious with a beautiful view of the marina. The rooms are very quiet and you are not disturbed by any outside noise. They offer free beach chairs everyday at the beach which is directly across the street. Complimentary waters for the room everyday. One complimentary alcohol beverage per guest. Close to many restaurants and stores. The staff was very friendly and helpful with anything you need. This was one of the best hotel experiences I have had. I will stay at this hotel anytime I am in the area.

Every single member of this staff treated me like a true guest. The riveria resteraunt had atrocious service and slow, room temperature food. I had to beg to order, beg to have them check on food, and beg for check.. then bartender tells me vouchers for "FREE HILTON SIGNATURE DRINK" was a vodka and soda... oh well. The hotel and hotel staff carried the wait for both of them, I say! 10 out of 10 rooms, views, preparation, cleanliness, and staff. Will be staying again, but next time, I may just pack my own lunch 😅

My husband and myself had a wonderful vacation the week of July 4 at the Maren Fort Lauderdale Beach. My husbands 65 birthday was 7-5/23 and Not only is the hotel beautiful but the staff was very accommodating to all requests; specifically 💯🥰Anaya who greeted us at the front desk and who made us feel so welcome from the time we walked in and throughout our entire stay!! 🥰 Santiago who was at the valet and always was so helpful with every little thing, and Paul who helped us with our bags and shared the best spots to visit. Our room was absolutely perfect !! as I requested to be able to have the best view of the ocean, and fireworks …and we were situated on the top floor Ocean front with a perfect view of the entire beach 🏝️ Thank you to all that made this week special with the little things… and we will be back soon.🙌🏼💯🐾🥰

Recently traveled to Fort Lauderdale for my bachelorette party and selected the Hotel Maren for our crew of 22 people. There are many hotels in this area but we knew right away that Hotel Maren was going to a great choice. Kelli Roth in the Sales Dept was amazing to work with, she made our entire planning experience completely seamless. Upon arrival Sean helped us all get into our rooms and was there to accommodate anything we needed throughout the weekend. Our rooms were very clean and all had great views. The pool area facing the ocean was a great place to hang out and enjoy the day and the pool bartender was so nice and made great drinks! The food from the pool bar and hotel restaurant was excellent. There are also many, many other places you can walk to for food, drinks and nightlife. I can't wait to return!

This is our second stay here. The first time we were here was May 2021 and the stay was marvelous. This is a new property, about two years old, and it is still beautiful. I absolutely love the property, and the customer service is top notch. Jennifer at the front desk is a GEM. I hope management recognizes her. The reason for the three stars: the pool needs security and/or a lifeguard. We were at the pool at about 4pm on Sunday August 6th, and there was a large family that was terrorizing all the other guests. They had no concept that there was anyone other than them at the pool, and they were diving, wrestling, throwing a ball, chasing said ball, screaming, wrestling, washing their dog in the pool, the list goes on. It was horrific and my kids almost got injured on several occasions. Other guests came to the pool with their kids, saw the anarchy in front of them, and just left. There was a single bartender up there that either didn’t notice or didn’t think this was a problem. Regardless, if they don’t have a lifeguard or security at least someone should make a round up to the pool area every hour or so. Lastly, housekeeping did a poor job of cleaning our room on August 7th. They left new towels on the bathroom sink, didn’t replenish the waters or coffee, and didn’t clean the toilet. We love this property and would give it another chance, but would hope some of these issues are addressed.

I wish i could give this place 10 stars! Me and my girlfriend just left and had such a nice time there. Hotel room was beautiful with a beautiful view, every person in the hotel staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay, and we did! Was recommeded to stay here by a friend and will now recommend to anyone else i know looking to stay in fort lauderdale. Bravo for such a great establishment! 10 out of 10!

Honestly the best hotel I’ve stayed at in a long time. The customer service as soon as we checked in was 10/10, very friendly staff and super informative about restaurants to go to and activities to do around the area. The hotel was always being cleaned by staff which any person loves to see. It’s a great location right on the beach and the pool deck was perfect. The restaurant food at the hotel was some of the best food my boyfriend and I had over our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Ft Lauderdale area.

Beautiful property with a 5 star location. The lobby is beautiful and the valet staff is very attentive. However… I checked in to my room and noticed a few ants on the bed. Gross, yes, but I didn’t panic. Before heading out to dinner I stopped by the front desk to alert them of the ants and was told “I’ll reach out to maintenance.” I return from dinner a few hours later and check in with the desk for an update and was told once again “I sent a message to maintenance.” I get back to the room and a number of ants crawling in and around the bed. I go back downstairs a third time and say “I’m going to need a new room” because who is going to knowingly sleep in a bed with ants. The lady at the desk checked me info a new room and waived the resort fee, but still. Was maintenance going to spray some poisonous chemical spray and then expect me to lay in the bed? Why was I not offered a new room right away? Overall- a decent experience at best

I go to Fort Lauderdale / Miami area multiple times a year and have tried many of the Hiltons. This was my second time here and i with my husband. They are the best! I highly recommend them and all our return trips will be booked with them. The staff is so friendly and courteous. It’s rare to walk away with so much happiness!

Not even finished my stay here yet, and I'm already writing this review because I'm blown away at how great this place is. From checking in and accommodating me showing up early. To the bartender Alex mixing up some good drinks - bike rentals - beach chairs, guy working the beach was great - free yoga class - free wifi - and a complimentary drink this property has exceeded all expectations. Room is mint, location is even better. Very happy to stay here and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and I would absolutely recommend it here to any of my friends or family.

I loved this hotel! It was located conveniently right across the street from the beach. The hotel provided bottled water, towels, and beach chairs at the beach. You could purchase umbrellas for $30. The costumer service was amazing. Sean was the first staff member that I encountered and he was everything! He had all of the information that we needed and a list of restaurant recommendations ready. We were able to check in early. Kassandra at the front desk was very nice. We were able to check in a couple of hours early. Ms. Annie that cleaned our room was so sweet and helpful. Bikes are free to rent for 2 hours. Our room was clean and we had a beautiful ocean view. The pool is on the 5th floor and has a bar. I really appreciated all of the hotel's amenities and the friendly staff.

I'm shocked how anyone could leave this place a bad review! When my friends and I got here the other day, immediately upon pulling up, Sean was opening our doors from our Uber and unloading all of our bags, and on the way up to our room giving us a very helpful run down of everything in the area. The bartenders were great and the two times we ate at the hotel was very good. We didn't get our rooms cleaned everyday just because we didn't care, but the cleaning lady made sure that we still always had fresh towels! The only downfall is all the construction in the marina area but it's not like the hotel can control that. Overall very welcoming experience and we will definitely be staying here again when we return!

This property has one of the most incredible locations. Standing in the Lobby, if I look one way, I see the intercostal and all the yachts, very nice. The I look the other way and there's the beach and the ocean. They gave us chairs and towels for the beach. The Acqua Pool Bar on the fifth floor is great to catch some sun and people watch. The Riviera Restaurant is very good and very accommodating. The surrounding area is everything I wanted to do. Park the car and forget about it. Walking distance gives me just about everything that’s cool and fun. They also have Golf Carts that move people around so there’s no drinking and driving. In short, one of the finest locations in Fort Lauderdale.

Couldn't be happier with the service from this hotel. Upon checking in, we were greeted by a beautiful lobby, incredibly friendly and sweet staff, and a stunning beach view. Upgraded us to a room with a balcony ocean view, and gave us a breakdown of all of the wonderful amenities of the hotel. Checked us into the room 6 hours early, had it ready and clean for us upon morning arrival. Room was perfect, room service was fast, efficient, and amazing. Super friendly like the rest of the staff. Checking out, we had some issues with our airline that cancelled our flight last minute. Had no choice but to stay another night and they were nothing but accommodating and helpful. Booked us with a cheaper room, still with a balcony and roomy for my girlfriend and I, and Alex behind the desk hooked us up with whatever he could to reduce the price – given the inconvenience of our flight cancellation – as well as providing us with extra drink vouchers on the house. Sean held our bags for us while the room was being prepared in this situation and he was incredibly sweet and helpful. This was the best hotel I've ever booked – my girlfriend and I had nothing but positive things to say about the rooms, service, and staff. Book this hotel immediately if you're looking for one in the Ft. Lauderdale area. The next time we visit, we will absolutely be booking again here. Thank you to everyone at Hotel Maren!

I was visiting family who were staying there. It was so pretty! It really captured that oceanic feel- the room was bright and airy! The room overlooked Ft Lauderdale Beach and the BEST view if the ocean! Its location was walking distance to some of the nicest little restaurants and shops. The pool area was awesome, too! If I were traveling, I would definitely think about staying there!

Beautiful hotel, everyone was very friendly and accommodating. It was my boyfriends birthday and although they are not doing much because of COVID they did a little decoration, my boyfriend loved he was surprised. The rooms are beautiful and modern. Highly recommend it

We stayed here for our anniversary and it was the most memorable experience ever. The staff is awesome everywhere. The beach is right across the street and lots of fun places to go to nearby. We would definitely come back and a big shoutout to Jeffrey, he took care of us so well , he treated us like family. We definitely recommend to others.

The hotel Maren is very cozy and clean. The people who work there are outstanding, esp. the front end people. It is very convenient to restaurants and activities. Get a veranda or porch for great sights and experiences.. We will be back.

By far the best experience I’ve ever had at a Hilton, or “hotel” for that matter. My girlfriend and I were amazed by everyone’s hospitality. Sean greeted us as soon as we were dropped off helped take our bags up to our room. The front desk allowed us to check-in a couple hours early and even upgraded us. The free Diamond member breakfast every morning was delicious; I especially liked the waffles. Between free daily drinks, free bicycle rides, and free chairs rentals as part of the resort fee, you absolutely get your money’s worth. The Maren’s design is beautiful and truly feels like a special place. The only thing that I can suggest is creating a better space for ride share pick-up and drop-off. We can’t wait to visit again! Kudos to everyone on staff for being professional and helping to make this a fantastic vacation experience.

This hotel was amazing! Beautiful view from the oceanfront rooms, definitely worth it. The staff went above and beyond. Can’t say enough good things about every single staff member we met. Ryan at the front desk was especially friendly and helpful! My room was decorated for my birthday when I got there and it was the cutest surprise. Highly recommend this hotel!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Hotel Maren. Everyone was very accommodating, the hotel is absolutely beautiful and I have to give a great thanks to Jeffrey (at the front desk) who was absolutely amazing. He made our second anniversary very special. We will be visiting again.

Had a great weekend stay at the Maren. Check in was easy and the room was spacious, well maintained, and decorated nicely with comfortable beds. Although access to all amenities was restricted to guests the ambiance was very relaxed and wasn't oppressive at all. Service at restaurant and bars was friendly. Great location with easy access to beach! Beautiful views from pool deck. Only thing to note was that the valet is separate and not associated with the hotel so when we ran into issue they could not properly assist.

This is not a 5-star hotel. It is a lower grade Hilton Hotel. It does not have resort style accommodations. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. Suggest that a microwave is provided in each room. Why have a refrigerator with no microwave to warm up food that was saved to eat later? Good size room. Room is set up was double beds. No fancy decor, but nice furniture.

We booked a last minute getaway to Ft Lauderdale for my birthday weekend. Unfortunately we had a issue with our inbound flights, making us delayed arriving to this hotel by a day. Upon check in, we were greeted by a wonderful front desk staff and manager (Ryan) . Our experience at the on site restaurants and bars was exceptional. The reason for my 1 star review is due to the ending of our stay. When asking to extend our checkout to 3 due to a later flight (and to help accommodate our 3 young children) we were abruptly dismissed and turned down by a manager by the name of Cindy. Despite spending over $5500 over the course of the weekend for 2 rooms and food, the request was denied, even though the hotel had a lot of availability. All we wanted to do was spend a few extra hours at the pool with our children and be able to go back to the room and shower them and get ready before our flight home. Cindy was so rude, unconcerned, and abrupt. Her attitude was the best part of the whole scenario. It’s like she was doing me a favor by even having the conversation with us. Not sure how such an amazing staff can have a bad egg in the mix like Cindy. I run a very large and successful business in NY and am appalled at how this situation was handled . The request was very minor and easily accommodated, but Cindy put a damper on the last day of our trip. Shame on you Cindy.

What an amazing birthday weekend I had here. Everyone was so pleasant and a breath of fresh air. I was looking for a hotel in walking distance to the beaches bars and restaurants as well I wanted to be somewhere safe since I was traveling alone from Naples. Jennifer from front desk deserves a raise because she assured me I’d be fine and made this trip a walk in the park. I will definitely be coming back to this hotel again. It’s definitely worth every penny

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice now, and both times everything was exceptional. From the friendly and hard-working valet staff, to the welcoming front desk folks, to the awesome Porter, all my needs were promptly attended to. The room was clean and beautiful, and the cleaning team so nice, always going above and beyond. Same for bar and restaurant staff…top notch! Whether for business or pleasure, or both, you’ll enjoy staying at this gorgeous beach hotel!

Hotel Maren was a beautiful hotel. The views and access to the beach was amazing. Everything was very modern and clean. The staff was courteous and went out of their way to help. Food on property was pretty good. Breakfast menu was great. Dinner and lunch selections were limited, especially if you were staying a few nights. Yoga in the morning. Gym is well equipped. My only criticism, although I have to fish for something, is the valet price for parking was very high. $45 a night. Would be happy to visit again and recommend to friends.

My husband and I celebrated my birthday at their property. Our room was on the fifth floor overlooking the ocean in the front with a pool view on the side, we loved it! All the rooms have a mini fridge and a coffee maker . Everything was pristine our room was beautiful and clean. Everybody was very hospitable and accommodating. We saw the manager several times, he was always friendly and asked us how things were going and if he could help us with anything. I would highly recommend the property.

Lovely boutique Hilton hotel. Friendly and attentive service. Sean was always ready with suggestions and to help book a tour. Heated outdoor pool with plenty of lounge chairs and great ocean view. Attendant at beach across the road provides included towels and chairs. Expensive but they don't nickel and dime you, so you can just enjoy. Suggest harbor view with balcony for interesting views.

Not sure how this hotel gets such great ratings unless the expectations are low from the beginning. Good sized stain on the sheets, so gross (pic). The shampoo dispenser in the shower dispenses water with some semblance of shampoo, clearly the seal on the bottle is broken. They don’t tell you there is a huge construction project right next to the hotel. On top of that, the “ocean view” rooms are of the construction site with a corner view of the ocean (pic). The location is ok, but the traffic is very loud, it can be heard constantly in your room, throughout all hours of the night. They pack up the beach chairs at 5pm daily essentially kicking out all guests. The upholstery of the lounge cabanas in the pool area are largely stained, pretty unappealing. This is not a kid/family friendly hotel. This is not a luxury hotel. There are much nicer and better resorts in Ft. Lauderdale, especially for the premium price. The front desk didn’t care at all how dissatisfied we were with the construction site view. The bar staff reluctantly agreed to take the free cocktail voucher. If you read any negative reviews, take them seriously. Starbucks, being across the street from the beach and lobby fragrance are not reasons to rate a hotel 5 stars. We regret staying here, will not stay again. Look elsewhere.
