I recently stayed at the Rolo beach hotel for a night, and despite undergoing some construction, the experience was fantastic. The management team, led by the incredible manager Chris, truly stood out. Their dedication and attention to guest satisfaction were evident throughout my stay. Despite the ongoing renovations, the staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable visit. I'm excited to see how this hotel continues to flourish under such excellent leadership!

I recently came here for a quick getaway with my toddler. We had the best time! After reading many, many, many reviews I found the Rolo Beach Hotel which had the most consistent good reviews. They are all true. The property is clean and Chris provides exemplary customer service. We stayed in a junior suite and it was perfect for our needs. Enough space for my toddler to play and the kitchen was equipped with just enough so I can make quick meals for us. There were floaties for the pool, chairs and toys available for the beach. The walk to the beach is short, and the people you run into along the way are friendly. I look forward to returning and seeing the upcoming renovations. We’ve been back home several days and my toddler has been asking to do back to our “vacation house and see Mr. Chris.” If you’re still on the fence about booking here, just go ahead and do it!

I stayed at the Rolo Beach Hotel and it was a fantastic experience. Chris, the General Manager of the hotel, is fantastic and super upbeat/knowledgeable about the area. There are two sides to the hotel, the renovated side and the even more renovated side in the main building. Rooms were clean and super modern. Pool was great. There are big plans for the future of this hotel. Area is unbeatable. 2 blocks to beach. One block to Archibalds Coffee, the best in the area. And 10 minute walk to all the restaurants and shops. I cannot recommend this sty enough.

Cute, cozy, clean, and affordable. Really close to the beach strip and walkable to restaurants. Overall, a really good location and hotel. The owner and the manager, Chris are very nice and personable. Chris contacted me after I checked out to inform me that I left my phone charger. He offered to mail it. I'd stay here again, and I recommend this hotel.

Rolo is off the beaten path a little but just far enough back where it's quiet and only a couple blocks to the beach! Chris is the best and will help you with anything! Rooms are being renovated and are very nice!

Our stay at this small beach hotel was delightful. The cozy rooms and personalized service created a warm atmosphere. However, the hotel could benefit from additional staff. Despite this, the location and overall experience make it a promising getaway retreat. Chris, hotel staffer, was exceptional. He was super friendly, very professional, and very attentive. Chris is one of the main reasons we look forward to coming back. With a few tweaks, this hidden gem has the potential to become a real coastal favorite. Looking forward to returning soon!

The Level of Professionalism, Hospitality, and Accomodation is by far unmatched in my many trips to Florida. The Room was the size of a 1 bedroom studio style apartment, perfect for a solo visit. Chris was very informative of the Area and surrounding activities. Looking forward to seeing the newly renovated rooms when the become available. This was my second time staying at the Rolo Beach Hotel. The first time, I had an upgraded room and only dealt with the manager, Chris. I marked 5 stars for that visit. This time around, I had to deal with the owner, who reeked of incompetence. In addition, he rented me a room with a toilet that was about 12 in from the wall. I had to step over it to get to the shower. The owner seemed to not realize how this could be a problem and had no good way to fix the issue. So now, I have stayed in a great room and in a horrible room. One time I had a great experience with the manager and the second time I horrible experience with the owner. I suppose I still recommend this location with caveats. Make sure you don't stay in the small queen room and make sure you talk to Chris for any chance of decent help.

This is about 2 months late, but I’m literally just thinking about how great of a time we had staying here. It was so cool to be able to walk to and from the beach all day long (so close) and use the free chairs. Got to sit and watch the sunset every day! We were also able to walk to a different restaurant for about every meal. Unexpected perk was the microwave in the room—I loved being able to actually take leftovers back to heat up later. Chris provided the most attentive and hospitable customer service I’ve ever seen!

I love this place! It is quiet, near the beach and the owner is really accommodating. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, everything was working properly. Only thing is that the bathroom is really small, but I could manage. I’ll definitely come back!

I absolutely loved this place. Do not let the older charming characteristic exterior fool you!! Inside was so cute and spacious. Clean and comfortable. Only about a 5 to 10 min walk to the beach depending on how fast you walk. The pool was clean and felt so good. It's very quiet and serene at this hotel. Will definitely go back.

My husband and I stayed at Rolo beach resort for 5 days during spring break. Chris (GM) and Ricardo (owner) were great. Lounging poolside was a great alternative when we needed a break from the beach which was 3 blocks away. Location was excellent. Amenities were good. Our room had a full kitchen and we took advantage of eating our breakfast in the courtyard.

Stayed at the Rolo Beach Hotel for a week and loved it. Room very clean and welcoming. Chris, the GM, was very informative with places to go and things to do. I wish I can give 10 starts to this hotel. The cleanest hotel ever! Located three blocks away from the beach, shops, restaurants and bars. Such a peaceful and relax place. This has all you need to enjoy your perfect vacation. Chris, the general manager goes the extra mile to make you feel good. We just came back today from our trip and can’t wait to go back in two months. I was able To work remotely from the peaceful garden and my room. This hotel is close to the beach and bars but the street were is located is super quiet.

Amazing little hotel just 2 blocks from the ocean, bars, and restaurants! Very clean room and pool! Me and my girlfriend came on a laid back weekend and basically had the place to ourselves it was so fun relaxing and swimming in the pool. The best part of this place is the customer service provided by the manager Chris and also the owner. They were very accommodating and made our vacation special! I’ve never received such hospitality from a hotel in my life it was great. When we come back to Ft Lauderdale this is our hotel!!:)

We had a wonderful stay! You can't beat the location for the price. We were less than a mile walk (about 4-5 blocks) from the beach. Super close to the strip and lots of restaurants/shops. The room was very clean and well taken care of. Rickard and Chris were incredibly welcoming, kind, and professional. If you can, book directly with them instead of a third party site. Chris was quick with responses, excellent communication. I look forward to staying here again. They also had free chairs, towels, and umbrellas for our use at the pool/beach! You can't beat that. They're $$$ to rent from the beach otherwise. If I had to provide any constructive criticism, I would have loved a full body mirror in the room. The bathroom was the only place that had a mirror. But, it wasn't a huge deal and I made due. My husband and I had a great stay! Thank you!

Had the most amazing long weekend here! The room and pool were extremely clean and bed super comfy. Very easy walk to the beach. The manager Chris was the best, he upgraded our room, let us check in early since our flight was in the early morning, drove us to get groceries, let us borrow beach chairs and a cooler, and gave some great recommendations! Even gave us some extra sunscreen. Will recommend this place to everyone. Thank you for an amazing stay!

This place is a hidden gem and (probably won't stay hidden for long). Chris was amazing - he was so accommodating, flexible and made our stay 10x more enjoyable. We arrived at the hotel well before our check-in time and we're able to check in early. Location is perfect - walking distance to the beach and tons of restaurants. Will definitely look to stay here when I come back to Fort Laurerdale!

I would return in a heart beat! Our family of 5 (kids age 5, 7, and 9) spent 2 nights in the 2-bedroom suite, and this place was perfect for us. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and recently updated. The grounds and pool are awesome. The location was within walking distance to the beach, close to the fun while still being calm and quiet. During our M-W visit, there were only a few other guests, so it truly felt like a home away from home. There were beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas available for us, which was a fantastic perk! The best part of this place is Chris, the General Manager, who took such good care of us all. I have NEVER experienced such excellent hospitality. Even before we set foot on the property, I was impressed by his helpfulness and graciousness during our booking process. When our groceries were delivered before we arrived, he put them away in our kitchenette for us. He noticed that we bought eggs to make for breakfast, so he made sure we had a large skillet to use. He set out pool toys for the kids. He was incredibly accommodating with our check-in and check-out times, and he answered all our questions about the local beaches. Chris made our visit so personal and so relaxing, which I really appreciated after all the work I put into organizing our family vacation. If you want an ocean view, luxury interior design or complimentary breakfast, this is not your place. But if you want a clean, homey spot for a great price where you can relax and enjoy the palm trees and beaches of Florida (oh, AND get the best personal service!), then Rolo Beach Hotel is for you. I hope you have as much fun there as we did!

Just took a 3 day/3 night trip and stayed in this newly renovated hotel. Loved it! Spacious for the 2 of us! Beautiful court yard and balcony view and just a few short blocks from the beach. Chris the general manager was more than accommodating! He gave great recommendations to restaurants, tourist attractions and was willing to help us in any way possible. He made this hotel stay feel very personable like we've known him for years. Near several amazing restaurants. We rented a car and never even used it. My wife and I will be coming back to stay here again!

Have you ever stayed at a hotel, where they knew you were arriving late at night, so they put a bag of popcorn in the microwave for you so that you'd have a snack when you got in? That's just the start of the incredible experience that we had with our 5 night stay. Really everything you need is within a very reasonable walking distance! We left feeling completely spoiled and having had the most wonderful experience. Another reviewer said it just right, this place is a GEM. Shout out to Chris for the amazing hospitality! 5 stars is not enough!

The guy at check in was super friendly and informative especially for us as a tourist. The rooms were clean and smelled nice, the pool was sparking clean. Definitely plan on staying here again. All around a great value for the area and the hospitality sent this place to the top of my list

The room was very clean and fit our needs for our beach weekend. We loved having a full kitchen and the furniture was nice and modern. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. Chris was amazing throughout our stay, giving us 5-star treatment all weekend. We will definitely be back!
