Dr. Mitzie, Dr. Skeete and Dr Via Y Rada seems to be great doctors, knowledgeable with excellent bed manners, but the office staff is the worst I've seen in my life. When I first called and asked if Dr. Skeete performs laparoscopic surgeries, the person taking the call didn't know what a laparoscopy was and asked me how to spell it to ask and call me back. Two days later, not getting any response, I called them again. Luckily, the second time, the call taker knew what I was asking about and started entering my information to give me an appointment. It took her about 1 1/2 hour to enter my information in the system. She was constantly putting me on hold and apologizing for the slow system. After a long wait, my call dropped and when I called again, my information was not found in the system, so I had to spend another 1/2 hour for the information to be entered again. I had a referral from my primary doctor for a surgical evaluation. But they insisted that "per office policy" I had to see another doctor before seeing the surgeon. I got an appointment with another Dr. that was cancelled the day of the appointment because the Dr. called in sick. I got another appointment for weeks later. I met Dr. Mitzie, who was very attentive to everything I had to say and checked all documentation I brought. I got another appointment to finally see Dr. Skeete. From the first visit, they insisted I had to pay out front regardless my Insurance. I explained that my insurance covers the first portion of my deductible through an HRA account, but they insisted that " per office policy" they had to collect payment first and they will reimburse after they get payment from the insurance. For my second visit they said they were crediting my first payment towards my second visit, because I shouldn't have to see the first doctor (just like I told them). I got my surgery scheduled and when I asked if i could drop my FMLA form, they said I had to contact someone else that would fill out the form and charge me $15. I contacted that person and explained I didn't need help feeling out the form. I only needed the doctor filling out the medical portion and signing it. They insisted that I had to pay for another form that they request "per office policy". At this point i started feeling very uncomfortable again. The form that they require to charge you $15 dollars includes 4 question: your name, date of the procedure, date you will return to work (you would assume that was something for the doctor to determine after surgery, right?), And type of procedure. I asked my insurance to call them and tell them to refund my payments because I was fully covered for the amount billed and they said they had to bill now for the doctor's visit that was not included in previous bill. I cancelled all future appointments and won't go there again. I hope Dr. Skeete reviews her office policy, and hire more competent and kind staff. This office looks more like a Wall Street competitive business only concerned about payments than a health care provider. I regret spending all this time and my HRA funds on this, but I am glad I didn't spend one more day trapped in this spider net. If after reviewing all these reviews, you still decide to go there, pay attention to your bills and keep your receipts. Something is definitely wrong with their billing process.

This practice is such a chaotic mess. Getting someone on the phone is nearly impossible; when you do, they are rude and impatient. When leaving a message, you're lucky to get a callback. At check-in, they can be highly belligerent if you didn't use the text link BEFORE walking into the office and have snide remarks to anything you say to rebuke their hostility. The clinic is clean, tastefully decorated, and usually not a long wait for a doctor's office. I love Dr. Skeete when you can see her; the midwives are supportive- but the process of getting to the appointment and making another is having me consider changing providers.

Dr.Skeete- Henry and all her associates are the greatest! I have never had an issue here and they have always been willing to help me whenever needed since I'ma new mom. Her Ladies that work in the front reception area are also helpful and kind as well. Coming to this office will definitely have you feeling like your part of the family. I will keep coming here and also spread the word to anyone looking for a new office to attend. Keep up that great work 👏

Absolute worst staff I have ever dealt with. Me and my wife had our first appointment there and even before we got there we were ambushed for a payments of $1000. We told them we didn’t feel comfortable paying before we even meet any of the drs or nurses. So they let us wait till our second appointment. Between the two appointments we were called 10 times about the payment. And when we arrived for our second appointment still before ever meeting someone that will be taking care of my wife, we were ask to pay $1000 for the services in advance. What if we don’t like the nurse or get along with them. Why couldn’t we just pay after we meet ONE DOCTOR OR NURSE. My wife was clearly upset but we went ahead and paid the bill for $1000 before anything. The manager Wendy then pulled us in her office and basically told us they would not allow us to come to the office and be seen there because she didn’t feel like we fit in. And after explaining our side of the story to her she just used everything we said to her against us to make us leave. She is clearly happy to tell people no and to leave her office, I feel out of power control and she enjoys is. She then started to get aggressive with me when I said she was acting ridiculous. She is a horrible office manager and should be out of there. She just refused service for my 10 week pregnant wife and we our left with no Doctor right now. STAY AWAY FORM THIS OFFCIE.

Dr. Skeete Henry is an phenomenal 🙌 doctor. I love her personality and demeanor, very down to earth, wonderful staff. She's our family OB/GYN thank you so much Dr. Skeete for all of your hard work dedication. She's the "IT GIRL" for Black OB/GYN of SOFLO!!!!!🙌🙏👏👊💣😍

Where do I begin?! 5 stars through and through! Everyone from the office staff to the nurses who assist through the delivery were amazing! The midwives and Dr. Skeet were thorough and took their time with me and my questions on every prenatal visit. After having 3 babies elsewhere and recently moving to South Florida I was looking for a practice who would be naturally minded and only suggest interventions when necessary. I was so pleased with their care and encouragement to have a beautiful natural water-birth even when I doubted my own strength at the end. I’m so thankful to have found Serene Health to welcome our sweet boy into our family with the best care South Florida has to offer!

This office is a complete disaster. Trying to get any radiology results with an acute issue is impossible. Maybe be upfront that you wait days for an US appointment in their office and then Unknowingly have to wait WEEKS to get a result! Completely unacceptable!! And to top it all off the receptionist has ZERO manners or patience. DO NOT go here if you need real help with your health.

I can not say more wonderful things about Dr. Skeete and the entire staff who works there. Their approach to pregnancy, labor, and delivery is one of a kind - gentle, caring without rushing the process. They really take the time to listen to their patient's needs, concerns and wishes. They look at everything holistically and are very calming. I highly recommend Dr. Skeete and her practice to any woman who is pregnant.

Dr. Skeete-Henry is by far one of THE BEST physicians to ever walk this planet. Not only is she the best in her practice but her professionalism and bed side manners are impeccable. She truly cares of the well being of her patients.

Dr Skeete has always been a compassionate and thorough physician. She takes the time to explain things and answer your questions. She also treats you like a person. Even though she is extremely busy and difficult to get an appointment with, I wouldn’t switch to any other OB-GYN.

The front office and nurses are fantastic, and Dr. Skeete-Henry is just the best. She takes time to listen to any concerns, is very thorough in explaining everything in layman terms, and she is so gentle during examination. By far the best OBGYN experience I've ever had!

I just wanted to express my sincere gratitude for this entire practice. I switched to this office at the recommendation of a friend after going through a traumatic miscarriage at another office. From the minute I walked in, I knew the experience would be different. I didn't know what a midwife was until I went to this office. Every single person at this office is amazing, every single time. Dr. Skeete delivered my high risk pregnancy at 33weeks1day after I had been hospitalized for 20 days and somehow I had a successful induction with a healthy baby. Most other doctors would've immediately made me a c-section, nothing wrong with a c-section, but it is major surgery. When I stayed in the hospital, someone from Serene Health visited me everyday, they spent time with me and talked with me. I am terrified of doctors and the hospital, so I was living my biggest fear, and Serene Health empathized with me and provided me great care and I am eternally grateful. Dr. Skeete, Erin, Liliana, Amy, Kimmy, and Arlene- I am sooooo grateful for all of you. Thank you for providing women with the best care out there.

I don’t usually write a review but I just wanted another way to express my gratitude for the exceptional treatment at Dr Skeetes office. I was more than half way through my pregnancy when I had to find a new OB due to moving and from the moment I called, the staff was on top of it to make sure I could get accepted as a patient. everyone I encountered were all so helpful and kind. The front desk staff in person is also all wonderful and pleasant. I got a chance to meet every midwife who are all so wonderful and a reflection of Dr Skeete and what her practice is about! Her entire staff that I’m sure she hand chose is a testimony of her work ethic and values and personality. Everyone is patient, takes their time, gets to know you and so nice. They truly care what’s best for you without pushing you. Thank you Serene health for a wonderful experience and helping me deliver my third so pleasant and gracefully!

Everyone there is pretty nice but I had a pretty chaotic experience giving birth there. My mind-wife made the wrong decision of sending me back home with 4 cm dilated with my second baby. I literally went from 4 to 8 or 9 in less than an hour. Had to go back to the hospital and they got me waiting in the waiting room for about an hour ON ACTIVE LABOR!!! I paid 750 to have a water birth but when they finally gave me a room after having very strong contractions, I had to wait more for them to blow the tub. I was in the water for less than 30 minutes. This whole situation was pretty stressful considering I paid good money to be in the water during labor to help with pain but instead, I was in the waiting room for a very long time!

I rather drive 35 mins away to get the best service. Dr. Skette Henry is one the most compassionate, caring and patient doctor I know. When I went to other doctors they judged me and assume stereotypes about me. Dr. Skette took her time to resolve my issues. Thank you!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Skeete for over 20 years. She delivered my son who is now 18 yrs old. I am always greeted with a smile from her staff. Dr. Skeete takes her time with me when I need a little extra and has never let me down. Dr. Skeete and her medical staff are absolutely PHENOMENAL!!! My pregnancy took a turn during my 7th month, where I had to undergo two major surgeries, non pregnancy related. Their professionalism and love for the field and patients were always at the forefront. I'd recommend Serene Health Ob/Gyn & Wellness to anyone!!!

If you want to be so incredibly happy with your pregnancy / birth / postpartum experience you have found your place. I switched to Serene after a terrible appointment at my old OB - first pregnancy and lots of anxiety around it. The entire staff from the second I walked in the door at Serene were incredible, and truly caring and supportive. I loved getting to know the different midwives and Dr. skeete. They are all amazing and so loving. You can tell they truly love what they do and want to empower you during your pregnancy.

I cannot say enough good things about Serene Health! I had my Well Women’s visit today with Amy and she is AMAZING! She makes you feel so at ease, like you’re chatting with a friend. I highly recommend them for prenatal care as well. I won’t go anywhere else!

Best OBGYN ever. My friend told me about Skeete many years ago so when We were considering having babies I switched doctors and it’s been the best decision ever. Erin is amazing as well! They truely take the time to talk to you, inform you and make it the best doctor visit ever, every time. Skeete is so knowledgeable with complicated births, is all about natural births and doesn’t rush you with the fifty questions you might have or rushing to get your baby out - they truely care about the woman, your body and your baby and believe you and is there for you!! If you want a natural birth she is the doctor for you. If want a team who cares about your needs then this is the doctor for you!

Dr Skette Henry is compassionate. I love her! I never said about that about any of my doctors. She goes above and beyond for me! I wouldn't have any other doctor. I didn't know what was happening to my body but she took the time to educate and showed me compassion! I always felt judged by other OBGYN's but not with her. I felt accepted and compassion from her. I come with questions to the appointments and she takes the time to answer them.

Dr Skeete may be one of my favorite humans ever! Dr Skeete delivered my son 15 years ago.. she made delivery stress free and i was not the easiest patient. 15 years later my respect for her as a doctor has only multiplied. She takes time with you, never rushes you, answers questions and gives advice. Who knew that a gynecologist can make you feel so comfortable and actually look forward to your next appointment. I highly recommend Dr Skeete and her staff.

Dr. Skeete is absolutely amazing. She is always very calm, welcoming and easy to talk to. Staff is very nice as well, pleasant and great communication. She performed my surgery and I was so nervous until she entered the room; she brings a calming aura. I’ve been coming here for over 5 years and I’ve never had a problem. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I was able to have unmedicated beautiful births with their support. Hands down the best gynecologist and OB I’ve ever had. Proponent of building a labor and delivery plan that best suits the patient’s needs and desires. So very educated and well respected in the IVF, Perinatologist, and doula community too! So you know they’re great! And one of the very few doctor offices where I’ve experienced top notch service from the front desk and nursing staff. They truly care for their patients.
