wow $130 for a gel mani pedi?! it took 3 HOURS and the paint job was so bad I’m going to get it fixed tomorrow. I stopped coming here years ago because of how horrible I would look walking out and only went cause I wanted to join my sister in law. Never again! Terrible terrible paint job -

Absolutely horrible! I was there for 4 hours today and it was a simple UV Gel mail fill and gel pedicure. The gel manicures itself took 3 hours because the first technician was inexperienced, the second did not do better either since my nails are all slanted and they weren’t even able to file my nails straight across. They are incredibly dishonest and they have the prices posted online, yet they will charge you a surcharge if you didn’t go back exactly 2 weeks after your last appointment. The lack of business management experience is evident and I will not be returning as there are plenty of other nail salons in the area. Also we did not agree on anything when I was leaving and I actually mentioned how horrible of a visit it had been as well as the fact you are entirely dishonest about the pricing which is ridiculous where you charge a customer a surcharge for coming after 4 weeks rather than 3. I do not appreciate your lack of professionalism.

Left my daughter for a wax and the waxing girl was forcing her to wax her wrists and ankles etc. she is petite and a minor and probably half the size of a full grown woman. She was bullied and they racked up the charges for each and every item without any disclosure that waxing a patch in non existent wrist hair was an additional fee and not part of an arm wax. They are sneaky and should not be allowed to operate.. total bill was nearly $400.. Beware for sneaky and untrustworthy behavior and misleading quotes. Update post response: All lies!!! You quoted a different price and when billing you told her you charged more and didn’t discuss any prices for up charges. You took advantage of a minor who had a credit card. Shame on you!!!

My wife was going to this place, if you are looking for nice environment, pleasant service, clean place that can do the basic this is it. Do not attempt to get anything special, they just simply can’t do it. My wife tried few times over the years. Attached pictures present the most recent, what she wanted and what she got. And this is after the up-charge of $39 for special design.

Avoid this place at all costs. They are extremely rude and disrespectful to their customers especially Carolina. My wife had a session with her and was telling her to pay more attention to the details and instead of being respectful she yelled at her treated her like she was a toddler. Highly unprofessional and disrespectful. Take your money where service is provided with care and attention.

I have been a customer at New Splendid for about 1.5 years and decided to write a review! I am as precise, particular and demanding as a customer can be, and I am very satisfied and pleased with the work they do in this salon. When I find a salon/artists I like for beauty treatments, I am consistent with my patronage. The salon is super sanitized, tidy, well decorated for the appropriate season and has all the colors a girl needs to create her desired look. I love Apres gel nails and had always been looking for an expert technician in NJ who can perform this service. Until I found New Splendid, I always had to go to the Lower East Side to get my nails done - UGH! Applying Apres gel nails requires a specific technique in order for them to last and Sophia, the owner, gets mine perfectly applied and shaped every time! I can easily go 3-4 weeks between appointments. Suly works magic on my feet for my gel pedicure and I always leave New Splendid feeling well taken care of - no matter how minute my requests for my version of perfection. From a girl who has been obsessive about her nails for 25+ years, I highly recommend this establishment!

What an amazing experience! This was my first time visiting New Splendid Nail and Spa. I was so impressed! We were treated like royalty as soon as we got in. Everyone is so sweet!! My mom and I had a girls day and the ladies at the salon made us feel so welcome. This is the best pedicure I’ve had!! The salon takes a lot of precautions with Covid so they made us feel so comfortable. I will not go to any other salon going forward. I’m so lucky I found this gem!!

I absolutely love this Spa!!! Upon services they greet you outside to take a temperature, followed by a brief survey. When we entered it was based on appointment only and social distancing was in full affect. They were unbelievably clean and well organized! The technician Brianna, was amazing and very kind. I absolutely loved Grace, who gave me the best gel manicure! They also offer these amazing gel products which are exclusive and lasted a very long time! I can’t brag enough about this Splendid Spa Salon. I’m so glad we came across this charming spa! I’m super picky and very content with their services! This is our new spot! Keep up the great work!!!
