    Don't walk away from The Boardwalk, run! Maintenance does a poor job with repairs. Getting ahold of the office is like pulling teeth. My fiance has lived here since August 2022 and I just moved in this August, 2023. I also still do not have my own "resident portal" to pay rent. The first week I moved in with her, the outlet the fridge is plugged into kept tripping the breaker. After two maintenance requests and two office visits, maintenance came out 5 days after all the fridge and freezer goods were spoiled. The next day they replaced our breaker box without puttying or painting(pics attached). Left an outlet disassembled under our kitchen sink. The AC was broken for three days. We've complained many times about mold. Dryer doesn't shut off automatically. Water pressure becomes almost 0 in the evenings with everyone using it. Trash is $23 a month to look like it does below. Parking is garbage. Do not let the prices fool you, you will not get what you pay for here.

    The apartment complex along with its staff is the absolute worst. I have been a resident for several months now and have had nothing but issues with water pressure, AC not working, rotted cabinets, water leaks within the building, raw sewage seeping unto the parking lot, mold, peeling paint, electrical issues, etc. You will attempt to communicate with the office however you are NEVER able to talk to anyone as they do not answer any calls. However, when you do communicate with someone you are met with unprofessionalism, disrespect from staff (Debbie) who lack empathy for the residents and their concerns. Work orders submitted will be "reviewed" then quickly marked as completed. Unfortunately, maintenance should you ever see someone, does not complete the work as they lack the skill set needed to oversee such tasks. You will be told time and time again that we are quickly working to resolve your issues and thank you for your patience. The new excuse, we are in transition under new management. However, prior to new management this has ALWAYS been an issue and while in transition continues to still be an issue. Your water bill is attached to your rent so if your used to paying $50-$70 a month or maybe nothing at all, prepare yourself for a $200+ bill. The company uses a third party to distribute the overall cost of water to residents. Should you still decide to rent an apartment, do yourself a favor and PLEASE do your research, visit the apartment before moving in, and complete a walk-through with a fine toothcomb as they make the appearance appealing but once your locked in will regret your decision. *Current Resident-Name Withheld*

    Absolutely despicable and unprofessional staff. Lied about livable status of the apartment we applied for. We paid the application fee. Told them the apartment wasn't liveable with active mold growth and visible water damage throughout, not to mention literal standing water from a faulty supply and faucet in the kitchen! This viewing was upon FINALLY allowing us to look inside said apartment, after asking us to pay down payment/security deposit sight unseen. Got told verbally from the apartment manager that we would not owe anything else if we walked away from it, due to the state of the unit. Got a call a month later demanding the $150 admin fee, to which I told them was absolutely not happening due to the scheisty nature of the operation. More than a year later it shows up on my CREDIT REPORT for $150! Got told by the creditor that since I signed the document of the application, I should pay the admin fee of $150. I paid the actual application fee, and was lied to about the state of the apartment! This company is absolutely a bunch of liers. And to send it to a credit collector, saying they can't honor the word of the apartment manager, is absolutely fraudulent. I feel bad for every single one of your tenants, I hope management will or has changed to someone else who may actually have a human soul, instead of trying to chase people like me for $150!!

    When I moved in there was a huge cockroach infestation . I still have the issue ! I contacted the Front Office about it multiple times but they did nothing about it besides send the guy like a month later which didn't really do much. I am the one that had to do the spraying and hard work ! We also have humidity problems with the ceiling of the main room.The fire alarm systems didn’t stop sounding every day. Nobody went to solve the problem. The kitchen doors need to be repaired. The bathroom is a disaster, the tub is broken. And more problems. nobody has came to do nothing !The carpet of the whole apartment is completely dirty since day one. And also the staff it is completely rude

    I've loved living here the past 2 yrs and really don't want to go anywhere else it's peaceful, the neighbors are great, the only problem I have is the mold is super bad in my unit, I try to clean it but it comes right back super fast I have been sick for months I'm sure due to the mold. Other than that I've loved my stay here and really don't want to leave 😢

    Applied here a few days ago .. called and checked on our application after submitting everything needed . I was told everything came back good except for an address discrepancy and that someone from “regional” would look into the matter but that we most likely would get approved . They called me two days later to tell us that we were denied . I asked why and this time they said it’s your credit and your income ? DON’T waste the time applying here . I read the reviews after applying and immediately knew I was getting scammed . I’m not the only review that has gone through this . They take and tell you different stories . :)

    Everything is wonderful here. If a situation arises, it is resolved quickly. The administration is very concerned and helpful with its tenants and all our neighbors are wonderful. This place is very quiet. I like it and I recommend it.

    Beside the apartment being in a convenient location, there’s absolutely nothing good to say about it the rent increases the lack of maintenance roaches dirty laundry rooms there’s never anyone in the office to pick up when you call no AC mold utilities are high for no reason!! The appliances are old the DONT WANT TO FIX THE BASIC THINGS !!

    The boardwalk is an amazing apartment complex! I was in a time crunch trying to find a place to live. They were able to work around my schedule and have me into my apartment within a week! The leasing manager is wonderful! She even stayed way after hours to personally show me my apartment and to answer any questions that I had. I would definitely recommend The Boardwak to anyone moving to the Fort Myers area. P.S. they have been under new ownership so many of the negative reviews from this place are due to the previous owners.

    Want to thank and very much appreciate Ms. Jackie, as when I came in to the office she came to welcome me and was very much attentive to my needs and wants. Want to appreciate this young lady as she is the sweetest and most kind worker. Want to also thank the maintenance gentlemen named Suhiel, as he guided and directed me towards the office building due to the fact that I am new to the area even though he was busy working. Thank you so much The Boardwalk, loved the work ethnic.

    I moved here with someone I ended up not being able to tolerate living with and Jackie and Debby truly were my angels in this whole chaos they helped work with us to get the electricity back on when our old roommate ran off with our money. They truly make the boardwalk great with their care for all the tenants that live here

    Came to this leasing office and had such a great experience. The lady who attended us I believe her name is Jackie was very pleasant and great to work with. She was very detailed and had so much patience with me since I had so many questions. Definitely recommend this place. Great experience I’ve had in along time in a leasing office!

    When trying to call to talk with someone in the office they will never respond to answer ,it goes to vm., maintenance must do better with work orders,I still haven't got much help with the ceiling in my bathroom from a link that happen above my unit. I live in E121.but it's such a a quiet nice area,but office staff must get more better with contacting tenants.Need more better help,but when a person be late on rent,it's not far to quick to put a notice on doors of people.Washing clothes is very bad washers ,dryers on the premises.
