Before this we went to the Pho Bowl. We were initially hooked! Well tonight, much to our initial disappointment we went and it was closed. So upon searching the area we were thrilled Pho 99 was open. And it was AMAZING!!! Great service, large portions, delicious food and a simple menu and great prices! We have found our Vietnamese oasis!!! A must try in Fort Myers! Nice inside. Plenty of tables. Beer selections. And Bobo smoothies for my wife and daughter. The oxtail was unbelievable!!! Smaller menu but still a good selection and very delicious food!! A little on the pricey side when it comes to the Boba Tea with the tapioca balls and oxtail but aside from that every thing is excellent. We went there again today and fell in love with it all over again..... A definite whether visiting, a local or snowbird!! Fresh, tasty, filling and always leftover for the next day!!!! Fried Shrimp Rolls and fresh shrimp rolls are amazingly delicious!!!!

Good food, prices are reasonable and staff are okay. Portion size for rice and sides for the pho bowl are small compared to other places I’ve been to. And you get a small bowl of rice to a big plate of entree. Staff seemed in a rush hosting, taking orders, and answering calls. Need more staff... Otherwise the place looks clean and the shaking chicken dish was very good.

This is an amazing place!!! People who leave a bad review leave it because they don't take the time to actually understand this culture. They also don't realize that this IS a SMALL business. People need to realize that it WILL be different then the traditional restaurant you are used to. You can't just EXCEPT to be treated like royalty if you DON'T take into consideration OTHER people's feeling, cultures, and ethnicity. Anyways I Would definitely go back!!!

Ah, Pho 99! That's my second favorite Vietnamese food spot in Lee County, but it's the closest one to my work. It's like having a secret crush that lives next door that is out of town so you settle for her still attractive but not as attractive sister- convenient but also a bit dangerous. The temptation to indulge in their delicious pho bowls and crispy spring rolls is always there, lurking around the corner of my lunch break. The first time I tried Pho 99, I was blown away by the flavors and aromas. It was like a party in your mouth, and everyone was invited - even those picky taste buds that usually stay home. The broth was so savory and comforting that I wanted to take a bath in it (don't worry, I didn't). The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the meat was tender and juicy. I felt like a Vietnamese grandma had cooked for me with love and care. Now, every time I go to Pho 99, I feel like I'm cheating on my other favorite Vietnamese restaurant. It's like being in a polyamorous relationship with food and without them knowing about each other. But hey, who am I to judge? As long as my taste buds are happy, I'm happy. In conclusion, if you're looking for a tasty and convenient Vietnamese food spot, Pho 99 is your go-to place. Just don't tell your other favorite restaurant about it - they might get jealous.

Our first time trying Vietnamese food today and we were not disappointed.Decided to pop in for lunch and we we’re instantly greeted by the older gentleman. Water with lime brought to our table promptly & without request(started off great). The waiter was extremely tentative. Although not much of a talker he did his job very well. Glasses stayed full, food came out in a timely manor, & was hot a delicious. Highly recommend the beef Pho and the fried dumplings! The egg rolls were a big hit with my husband as well. My only regret was not ordering two orders of dumplings for the table because they were just that good! The place is spotless & bathroom was extremely clean. The yum yum chicken was surprisingly delicious although the presentation is a bit bland looking. Maybe a few green garnishes would fix that. Anyway totally going back soon. To the owners keep up the good work and thank you for an enjoyable meal.

The pho here is amazing top of the line, and if you order to go, they even give you a plastic bowel to put the soup in and the cool spoons, too 😎

this is the only viet location that actually uses real avocados to make their smoothies instead of powder. Its perfect every time and I have rallied multiple friends to validate this as well that are now obsessed with their avocado smoothies. I love the people that work here, since ive gone a couple of years now, and the dishes are great. The only dish i dont like here is the banh mi because of the sauce, but i like the pork chop with rice, and the pho, as well as the spring rolls. will always recommend this spot

Title: Flavorful Delight at Pho 99: Mildly Spicy, Yet Satisfying Rating: ★★★★☆ (4 out of 5 stars) I recently enjoyed a bowl of spicy noodle soup at Pho 99. While the spice level fell short of expectations, the soup itself was delicious. The rich flavors and well-balanced broth made for a satisfying experience. The staff provided excellent service, and the cozy ambiance added to the overall enjoyment. Although not very spicy, Pho 99 is still a highly recommended spot for tasty Vietnamese cuisine in a welcoming setting.

First time trying Pho and I am mind blown with how delicious their food is, the flavors are spectacular and cozy at the same time, also presentation was amazing, but most of all the service we received was top notch, this place is a must try!

I don't usually leave negative reviews but I wanted to warn the potential customers about a couple things: - the noodles in pho were straight from the retail package, they were in one block, not even separated, just one solid block. Banh Mi wasn't your regular Banh Mi, but more similar to a Chicken Teriyaki sandwich filled with sweet oily sauce. When I told the girl about that, she said she knows, but that's what the chef does... They didn't take it off the receipt and I had to pay for sandwich I couldn't even eat cause it was pretty bad cause of the sauce, and DEFINITELY not a Banh mi at all, and if that's what you want, don't order it. Also while we ate the waitress didn't come up to us not even once. No one asked if we needed anything or if we wanted to order anything else, which we did, but since no one came, we just went ahead and paid for the dinner. definitely not coming back.

I started eating Pho a few years ago in Massachusetts prior to moving to Florida, I really thought i had I’ve always had pretty damn good Pho then and hadn’t honestly ever thought about how much better it could get. Seeing as Florida typically doesn’t have really any food that’s better than what I'm use to in Massachusetts/Boston but to my surprise the Pho here at Pho 99 is hands down the best I’ve ever had. (I get my steak on the side to add to the broth myself so it doesn’t overcook by the time it gets to me)

The food was fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I spoke with the friendliest server who shared that the owner is also the chef. The food is sourced from the chefs own farm. I had the pho Tai. The bean sprouts were fresh (always important to me as they are one of my favorite ingredients) the beef was fresh and sliced super thin. Usually the beef in pho restaurants are frozen packed processed beef. Not here you can taste the quality of the beef. I think it is important to share that the broth was slightly on the sweeter side. I did not mind this at all. I order the beef egg rolls they were hot and fresh. I believe they used the entire fresh black mushroom rather than the mushroom power.

Not an "upscale" place with, but food speaks for itself. Restaurant is family run, and I like the fact they boast their beef broth, that is after all the traditional way to make it with beef. The chicken fried rice was very nicely cooked. Came with the "fried" taste it should have and without overly complicated soy based cooking sauces. Simple and delicious. The hot and spicy Vietnamese style broth was true to its claim. I had mine with beef.. Wonderful treat on a rainy day. Will return for more.

Large portions. Hot & spicy is perfect amount of spicy. $12 a Pho for the medium is a good price considering how much You get. 4 star because the spring roll I ordered is $6 for 2, and it is pure lettuce. Too much lettuce. Can hardly bite into or taste anything else other than lettuce. Not impressed with that. Atmosphere is nice. Spa like music is nice. The server was very nice. I would visit here again.

I'm so glad that SWFL foodies page on Facebook told me about this place!! it is definitely the best Vietnamese food in Fort Myers I have found so far! the chicken spring rolls are really good and so were the fried beef egg rolls. I had the Oxtail Phó and it is the best one I've ever had, it was like tender roast beef or fatty brisket it was so good! they also have fresh made drinks and Boba teas. my friend had the seafood Phó and it was fabulous too. I will definitely be going here or Phó38 when Phó99 is closed

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Fort Myers. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing, everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had while in South West Florida. Highly recommend!

This restaurant serves great noodle soup. Like Goldilocks says just right for the pho noodle soup..however the $6 sugar cane drink was a waste of money.

It was our first time trying Vietnamese food. All the food tasted super fresh. The Pho had plenty of flavor and the Bahn Mi was delicious. The tea was excellent as well.

Kind hearted people! They were giving out free hot meals after hurricane Ian. I will continue to come here to give them my business as the food is delicious! Thank you so much!

This place is great! It’s become our tradition to order pick up from here almost every Sunday night. The broth for the regular and spicy pho is delicious. Our favorites are the eye round beef noodle soup and the shrimp noodle soup.

I’ve been going here for years and now they’re down bad. The server/cashier always has an attitude and I tried to look past it and it’s unsettling. So I went in today, and they served me almost no noodles and no meat. All I had was broth. It came out looking normal but as I dug in there was almost no noodles. I was mind blown. The server never came to check on me. I’ve gone a fewer times than I used to and every time it’s the attitude or the pho is no longer good. This was my last straw, and will be looking for a new pho spot. I can’t believe they would lower their portions while the customer is paying more since their prices went up. So messed up.

Not the pork vermicelli I was expecting. It tasted like stir fry pork. It was loaded with pork but was missing the grilled pork and lack of veggies like mints and cucumbers… maybe I should’ve gone for the pho. Heard the pho was pretty good. If you’re debating, go for the pho.

W O W!!! Hat of to the waiter/cashier and do it all Tom! Never been here and came in during a dinner rush (6pm) and was swiftly but, courteously helped. Great seating even when crowded and awesome but peaceful South Asia setting made this dining experience very pleasant. Food was to die for. The beef rolls were perfectly crisped and packed with succulent flavor and my chicken pho was a masterpiece! Hats off to everyone who was on their “A” game and can’t wait to be back! 🥇🙌🏼😌👍🏼👍🏼

I started coming here a couple years ago after a few other failed pho places. This place is amazing. I get a medium bowl of pho usually and try my best to finish it all. The spring roll, the tofu roll, and a few other appetizers I've tried have all been delicious and tasty. The environment is super chill, and the service is great. I bring my out of town homes here too and they love it

Amazing pork chops. This will become one of my new favorite spots. The honeydew milk tea boba was flavorful and done correctly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to try Vietnamese food for the first time. Staff was very friendly and personable.

This is the best bowl of pho I’ve had in Fort Myers. We have been looking for a good Vietnamese restaurant since moving here, and we finally found a great spot. The food was great, and the staff was friendly. They were attentive, polite and they kindly stayed open for us to finish eating. We will definitely be back!

Ordered the chicken and vegetables with white rice, it was delicious. They were very accommodating with my husbands food allergies. Also ordered the vegetable spring rolls with peanut sauce that were very tasty. We had great service and did not have to wait very long. The food was very fresh, we will order from there again.
