Cute little “museum” with lots of play options for kids of all ages. It’s a bit older and some items were damaged and unusable but we still spent 4+ hours there and had a great time. The staff was great very friendly and welcoming. The animal show was fun and gave the opportunity to get up close and personal with some cute critters.

I'm very disappointed. Multiple exhibits were not functional or not open. What was open was very limited, not a very large facility. Multiple areas were just in absolute dissarray. We drove 40 minutes to get here, and we spent maybe 30 minutes to do everything. Their snack house was very overpriced. For 3 "chicken fingers" cost $8. There is outdoor covered seating to eat, but due to rain, they weren't wiping anything down, so it was just sitting on the floor in a hallway to eat. The tickets are $15 a person, no matter the age, shouldn't be over $10 with how little there is to do. Would not recommend...

Unlike some reviews I found this place so fascinating and plenty of things for my six year old to do! Interesting Ft. Myers history, artifacts, reptile and sea exhibits, a science presentation and movies played in the big theater. My daughter was too frightened of the dinosaur movie as well other children so we left early. We spent 2.5 hours here before we had to leave for the airport...a must see in the area!

A delightful little museum, I've been there a couple times now. It's about $20 for adults although they do have some discounted rates for EBT card holders. It's not a very big museum and most of what's displayed can all be seen in about 2 hours. They have some great hands on exhibits that kids will love. Super friendly staff. Honestly kids or no kids it's not a bad way to spend a couple hours on a hot SWFL day.

We really enjoyed our day here at the museum. The staff is exceptionally nice and helpful. One of our favorite things was the feeding and petting of sting rays (they don’t sting!). There is a cool globe shaped screen called “Science on a Sphere” that illustrates climate, airliner flights, hurricanes, etc, that is intriguing. We watched 3 short 3D movies that were interesting. There is so much for kids and teenagers. They do not have a cafe, but do have a nice gift shop

An interesting and educational place for kids and adults. Since my last visit with the kids a lot of activities were changed. The main room has changed into a cosmos adventure with computer game interaction. The upstairs was also changed and has information about the weather, planets, electricity etc. They added more activities outside and live shows. It definitely worth checking it out. We paid only $15 per person and it was definitely worth it.

Highly recommend this place! It's very interactive and really fun for the family or for a couple on a date! All the staff were really nice and knowledgeable. Although the building is a historic location they have a lot of high tech exhibits and displays like science on a sphere (which they use at Kennedy Space Center, an interactive topography table, a waterways simulator, and a whole room of Space Simulation games. An absolute gem in southwest Florida!

It was interesting. Very small however - not many exhibits. I paid $10.00 to get in because the movies weren’t running and the touch tank was not installed. Normal price is $19.50.

We went to see Clyde Butcher’s photography exhibit on Cuba which was super and had the extra thrill of having this educational museum to ourselves. We very much enjoyed the personalized presentation on the planets by the nice young man in charge of teaching. They have a very good exhibit on the Calusa Native people. The aquarium area is fun and petting the stingrays great for kids and adults. The lady at the registration desk was so very nice and helpful. Check out the section on hurricanes...including the wind tunnel‼️

Really fun place to come especially for the kids. The touch tanks are pretty cool, you can pet sting rays ect. The staff was exceptional and knowledgeable and all around nice. We had a great time here and I would suggest to anyone that has not been here already to come check them out, definitely worth it!

I agree with other reviews that mentioned the 3D experience having low quality. I somehow still found the movies enjoyable. The other experiences were really fun. The Fossil finding was very fun ( extra cost at gift shop). It was cool seeing the fossils appear from the water.

We had an amazing experience here! There is so much history and so many different things to do here. There is a huge room for kids play. They had things like balls that you could roll down different tracks and making your own roller coasters. They had a section for you to be your own news reporter, make a lightning storm, touch a cloud and find anywhere in the world using Google maps. My kids ages 2 and 10 as well as myself had a great time. They do have a cafe that you can order food from and eat outside at their picnic tables either in the shade or in the sun. Our favorite thing there were the whisper dishes that were found outside by the fish pond. Make sure you visit after you feed the fish in the turtles whisper through the ring and the sound will bounce off of the big satellite dishes behind it, it was super cool to play phone tag through them. They have a large theater that shows 3D movies, we were able to see two different movies the day we were there, and recommend titanosaur, both were absolutely great. They had a large section that showed the Old Town Fort Myers, it was cool to see the replicas and the history of the town. There was a large Sputnik room that gave history and also upon walking up to the building there is a 911 memorial that has a timeline of events. It was cool to walk with the kids and tell them what I remembered from that day. There is also a gift shop at the front of the store, of course you have to walk through it to buy your tickets and for entry! LOL. We recommend the hurricane simulator!!! All in all a great place to spend a day with the family.

This is such a fun, informative place. I went with a 12 & 7 year old. We all learned something. We enjoyed the exhibits. The shows are boring and I'd recommend an update with more kid friendly options. But it's still a great science center! You can see everything in a couple hours.

We needed somewhere to kill time in between checking out of our hotel and heading to the airport for our evening flight. We took our 2.5 year old here and we all had a great time! There was a lot to keep her entertained. She really liked seeing different animals and fish, and the hands on activity area.

Had a nice time at the IMAG and thought the price was decent. They seem to be constructing a new area on the first floor so might return to see what they did there. I thought the interactive globe on the second floor was fun to look at. The animals seem well cared for and the ship in their big tank was really cool to look at.

It is a great facility if you only plan on going once and don’t have children under 5 their kids zone is shut down the displays haven’t changed in over a year and it was not worth getting a membership. I requested a refund or an extension since for 10 of my 12 month membership offered nothing that I had been told when signing up. I understand covid has made things difficult but if you can’t provide a service you should offer fair I compensation to for what they can’t provide.

We love this place!! A little pricey but we're going to invest in a membership which would give us a significant discount for a year. So much for the kids to do including live animal shows and a touch tank. Educational and fun for everyone.

The exhibits were interactive and interesting for our 3 year old!!! It was really cool to "fly" a spaceship and touch a stingray!!! We just thought the place was a little small....they did have one exhibit area under construction...if you're in Ft. Myers and need something to do with kids this is a pretty interesting place to check out!!!

Hadn't been to Imag in years. Many exhibits have been changed out but are no better or more interesting than what they had before. I liked the new path outside, but the large alligators are gone. The whisper dishes were new since the last time I was there but one didn't "project" the other voice so must have gotten out of alignment somehow. I liked the big tortoise. Live animal show was enjoyable. Just hitting their 25th anniversary and feels a bit run down. Not sure I like the mix of the history and science (used to be just science). Feels more like a kid's play area than a science center.

We went here to have a great day! My son is almost 3, so I didn't know if he would enjoy it as much. He had an amazing time. 👏 we will have to go back when the place wasn't so crowded, and I'm sure it would have been an even more amazing time. The hands on activities were great for him!

When I took my Grandson a little over 2 years ago he loved this place. It was so much fun and lots to do. We went twice he enjoyed it so much. Took my Granddaughter on Monday and was so disappointed. Especially for the price. They took away the cool stuff the was on the first floor and a lot of the hands on stuff that was upstairs. A lot of the stuff they did have didn't work.. just very disappointing.

I am terribly disappointed. I used to live here as a child and would visit this place almost weekly and loved and adored it. Some of my most treasured memories were there as a kid. We were here this week on vacation and I told my husband our 7 year old would have a blast. $54 for the 3 of us and there is absolutely nothing there. She gave us a map of the place when you can see the whole thing in your eyesight. Please don’t waste your money or your time. She said no refunds but I’m disputing with my bank. I’m refusing to pay for something that sucked. If you want to charge that much, put better stuff in there.

Small gem of a museum. We visited with 2 kids aged 10 and 12 and 4 adults. The center had the kids attention for a solid 3+ hours, we could have stayed longer but we were rushed on time. It had enough for the adults to keep engaged but definitely geared at kids. The touch tank for the stingrays was great, they had a reptile/aquarium section and several live shows, one with animals. We didn't stay for the movies. Outdoors I wish they had a bigger water play table, as it was quite busy with little ones but was still a great thing for the older kids. Their main area had a ton of hands on activities which the kids enjoyed. On a busy day I could see how it might be difficult to enjoy the center, but on a weekday it gave us a perfect escape from the heat during our vacation.

Fun place for the kids and adults. Lots to learn and see and very hands on. Spent lots of time in the theater as they have many different showings both normal and some in 3D. Hands on aquarium right inside the entrance was pretty cool for us since we live in a landlocked state. Many things to learn about ocean life. Would definitely recommend.

Our kids (the oldest is 8) enjoyed the hands-on room. The touch tank was also a favorite, but is small compared to others we have experienced. The entire place needs a refresh (paint, signage, and several exhibits). The virtual reality exhibit is only open a few times a day. There were exhibits that had no real explanation at all. Everyone there was polite and helpful as needed. Our in-laws got in for free with a reciprocal membership from another museum. We drove up from Marco Island; I can’t honestly say that it was worth the trip.

This place had so much for my children to do it was incredible! My kids are almost 8 and 10 and I thought they would be bored... Boy was I ever wrong!! We for there around 2pm and I was almost dragging them out around 430 because I was hungry! They had a lot to do there and the energy spot seemed to be the favorite of all of us. They even do military discounts and they let our party of five in free because of a special promotion they had for military!

This place was alright. Not as cool as I had hoped. The aquarium area was neat with the fish. The space zone was pretty big , but it was the same thing- there were like 20 of the space "game". The upstairs had a pretty neat giant globe and they explain all the planets which was cool. But i did, honestly think thst the price of admission was too high for what you got. My 9 year old was satisfied with the visit, so if you have kids that age it is geared alot towards that age

Also , they are very well marked for covid in that they have plenty of stations for hand sanitizer and staff cleans quite a bit.

Took 4 kids and there was enough to keep them busy for several hours. We did have to visit several activities multiple times in order to stretch out the time in order to feel like we got our monies worth, but the kids did not mind and had a good time. I gave a 3 because it was pricey for a large family and I personally didnt like the large number of activities involving space simulators. The simulators seemed like just another computer game (only larger). I was bringing them to the imaginarium so the could use their imagination and unplug.

Kind of small. Very hands on. They did have people around cleaning non stop. Kids enjoyed themselves. Educational. Not somewhere you can spend the whole day but a few hours.

The IMAG team did an amazing job for my daughter's 10th birthday party! I was completely blown away with the detail, and the actual care they put in to make this experience unbelievable for my daughter. We did the Mad Scientist themed birthday party and it was well above my expectations on how they put everything together. From the moment I walked in, they were so helpful with ever detail of of the event. I will say that this was the best birthday party experience ever. Thank you again for all you did on this occasion. You are my go to place for an amazing experience.

Good rainy days place to take the kids. Lots of stuff for them to explore and some adult historical stuff for dad.

Great place to visit with kids! You can touch the stingrays, attend a showing with real animals and watch a 3D movie - all for one admission price! Tons of interactive exhibits for kids to enjoy. We spent almost 3 hours here and really enjoyed it. No charge for parking either. You can buy fish food for $1 and feed the large koi and turtles outside.

Great little children’s museum. Dozens of high interest, hands on activities. Our kids loved the giant water table and feeding the fish outside. They also really like the ball and track activity. Their little engineering minds were working hard!

As usual, we had pleasant hours and the kids had a lot of fun. It is recommendable to get the year membership.

Such a great place for my daughter. She loved the wildlife, the play area and the space/weather exhibit. My husband loved it as well. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We are sad that the 3D movies weren't working. Hopefully next visit it will be.

We had our daughter's birthday party there. It was the best experience ever. We had our money's worth they were so nice and we really didn't have to do anything. We just brought the cake, the took care of everything. Our guest loved it. I would highly recommend

To Small need to update this place. Looks old and not to much to experiment. The only part good was the 2nd floor . The aquarium is small .

My boys love this place we come every time we visit family in Ft Myers. It's a wonderful place for small children my boys are 2 and 5 there is plenty for them to do. It's great for a day or afternoon out of the sun

Clean, beautiful and friendly staff. We used the ASTC pass from our membership and the employee made the experience fast and easy. Their exhibits are great especially since they have many hands on experiences.

We have the ASTC Passport membership and have been to this museum 3 times now. My 4 kids (ages 4-8) love it. They will spend all day building with any of the options in the engineering lab, or the out door water table (which is not always open). The 3D movies don’t really seem 3D, but my kids enjoyed the dinosaur feature and Tornado Alley. The live animals are an exciting attraction for them, as well as the electronic interactive games upstairs. A couple of the exhibits have been “out of order” or “closed” for several months now, which is disappointing, but my kids will easily spend 3-4 hours here and are always bummed when we have to leave. We will come again next time we are in the area.

Tickets are $20 each adult. There is no too mucho to see or do. The structure are in poor conditions, some of the activities were closed. Staff was great tho, super nice and attentive.

It was a cute place for young kids, but I don't think it was worth the money. There was nothing to do outside. The aquarium and small animal room was nice to walk through for maybe 10 minutes. Otherwise, the interactive room provides 30 minutes of entertainment. It is definitely not what it used to be.

Took our 13 yo granddaughter and had a good time. Enjoyed the hands-on exhibits. Sting rays were cool!! Interesting for all of us.

Admission fees not worth the visit. Overrated! $19.50 for adults, over 2 year old is $15. Better off visiting other museums at reasonable lower price Several inter actives not working. Animal shows wasn’t worth attending. They don’t give a receipt for credit charges because they don’t have a printer. Wants your email to send receipt.

Waste of money!! Don’t go, most of the stuff is broken and/or missing things. They charge you almost $20 a person for adults. There are 4 sections to this tiny building. When you walk in you have a big touch tank with 2 sting rays and another thing I have no ide what it was. (Sorry). To the left you have a large fish tank and surrounded by 20little tanks with reptiles in them. To the right of the touch tank you have a open room with a few “activities” in it and like 4 animal bones. Everything feels dirty. 2 of the displays are broken. Then they have a second floor that has weather things in it but there are only 3 things up there and you have to pay additional money in order to play with 2 of them. On the first floor again you walk past the tank and walk out the back door they have 1 water play thing for kids. To the right of that there is another one that is like a “fossil search” with no fossils. And then there is a “garden” that runs along the side of the building. I suppose it’s fine for small children 6 and under.. only because they get entertained just going up and down the stairs. But for 20$ def not worth it. If the price was lower then I wouldn’t be as upset. I paid almost the same price for an actual kids museum in Fort Lauderdale that had 3 floors, almost triple the size and lots of things for the kids. We are just disappointed in the quality and prices.
