This place gets 5 stars on food, service, and atmosphere. After a long drive we ended up here to try Vietnamese food. We were seated by a young man and shortly a waitress arrived to take our order. Her English was good but one could tell not her 1st language. She was very helpful and answered many of our questions about the menu. We ordered an appetizer and two main dishes. One was vegetarian and the other had chicken. The appetizer was crab Rangoon and it was amazing. Next the main dishes came out and both were completely different but equally amazing. The deep rich flavors with subtle hints of other ingredients was quite an experience. Portions were very filling. Inside was a simple dinning area but with the lights on low. In the back a huge fish tank with amazing fish swimming. Place was clean and had plenty of parking. This place looks like it is run by a mom and family and they know how to cook great food. Will definitely stop here again next time passing through. Highly recommend this place for sure.

The flavors never disappoint. I ordered the number one soup(Pho Dac Biet) and the soft noodle bowl number 10(Bun Thit Nuong). One of the best Vietnamese Cuisine places I have ever had.

Fort Smith has a very large Vietnamese and Laotian community. This is a family run business with two locations in Fort Smith. I have been frequenting this restaurant monthly for the past 10 years. The food is superb. It is completely authentic. Their service is always top notch. This location is located in an older building. It does not look the best but the inside is great! You should definitely try it.

This curry tofu V11 was so delicious, just like real home cooked meal. Seasoned to perfection! My husband had a steak with vegetables and it was marinated for a week in garlic sauce he loved it! Not to mention that waitress was so polite and just amazing host, it was great experience dining there and we will definitely be back!!

We stopped here on our way through town and would definitely stop again. They have a great vegetarian menu that made it easy to find vegan options as well. The food was absolutely delicious with good portion sizes as well. I would definitely recommend Green Papaya for anyone looking for great vegan Vietnamese food.

Good food but there is an up charge for everything. Add pineapple to rice it’s an extra $3. Want a side of sauce, that’s a $2 charge. My $11.95 rice went to $18.75 just with adding pineapple and a side of garlic sauce.

A little different then my normal Pho places I go. There is only one size bowl, which is small, and costs the same as others large bowls. Place looks a little run down on the inside. Food was super good. Staff was mediocre.

I was in the area on business. Checked out reviews for local Asian restaurants and this place came up. After working a 12-hour day I drove 20 minutes to get some dinner. I arrived at 8:40 and stood at the cash register while the hostess chatted with other customers. She finally got around to me at 8:43 and said I was too late to eat because they don’t serve customers after 8:45. I showed her my IPhone which clearly showed 8:43. She said she was so sorry but I was too late to be served. So, I left and won’t be back. What a joke.

The food is alright but the service is that good. We waited a while to order and get our food. Even the people came after us got their food and ate halfway before we got our food. The restaurant is too dark can't really see the food.

Doesn't look like much on the outside but my food was delicious 😋 Had a small plain pho no meat with garnishes as an appetizer and the salmon with veggies n rice. The ladies working here were all very sweet and welcoming so I left a decent tip for my server 😌

This was the first time we have eaten at Green Papaya. On my, we were not disappointed. The Pho was incredible as was the Vietnamese Coffee. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the restaurant was very clean. Our waitress was very helpful and made recommendations. The hostess was quite accommodating. We will definitely be back!!

5 stars for the food! Our waitress was not in the career suited for her! Great food! Loved the tofu spring rolls! I would go here again, but I'd more than likely ask for another server if needed! Happy day!

We got the egg rolls and spring rolls when we visited, and they were both great. The pho was also amazing, I got the steak and brisket one, but the star of the show was definitely the broth. I've been to many pho places and Green Papaya is my top fiveb in flavor.

Our food was delicious! I think our waiter forgot about our table at one point since it took 15 minutes to get drinks, but they apologized and after that everything was super smooth!

Ordered food from here for the first time. Got the fried pork with vermicelli. It was so good and so different from the same old Asian food. Hoping to have a lunch date here soon with my friends.

Eaten the combo fried rice from here many times and it’s always fresh and authentic. Eggrolls are good as well. Prices are a little higher than my other favorite Vietnamese and Thai restaurants. Atmosphere is dimly lit and warm so it’s a great place for a casual date.

Always has amazing service and their food never fails the hit the spot. Not to mention their serving portions I always go home with extra! Spicy charbroiled pork fried rice is always the way to go. I love this restaurant

Well worth a stop. My husband and I time our biyearly trips so that we can eat here. The pork is insanely good in what ever dish you order with pork. Swooningly good. Eat some today.

The food is great. I highly recommend the numbers 11, 24 and 28. Also the appetizers A3. Garlic sauce is a must to order with all meals. The restaurant is clean and calming. The lights are dimmed and they play instrumental music.

I hadn't eaten at this location yet and the other it has been years since I've eaten so I wasn't sure what to order. The server was kind, attentive and made some great recommendations! If you like Vietnamese food you must go!

The waitress was super rude, unprofessional and racist to my friends and I on our last visit there. She outright said things against my culture/race and made us feel very uncomfortable. Will not be returning. This location just lost loyal customers.
