MUST STOP!! My family and I are very picky and we don't eat Mexican/Authentic food since I cook it at home all the time and well we havent had good experiencs at these types of food chains... well we stopped because a 15hr drive from phx to Texas is crazy! Anywho, I rate it an A++++ 100000% the food was delicious so was there coffee, I mean there was nothing left on our plates(party of 4). I wished I could've taken before & after pictures. Customer service was amazing there where three great ladies checking on us. Restaurant was clean as restrooms too! I totally recommend 💯%

Asked for fajitas with no meat and the cook was great to accommodate and ask if I wanted additional veggies. Waitress was fabulous and filled drinks and chips, inquired about food, etc often. Only complaint was the little gal that was asked to wipe off our table and we interrupted her on her phone. Half wiped off with wet soap bubbles was good enough I guess. The rest of the staff was great. Food was served hot and very good. Would definitely recommend this place!

The food is fantastic. They just forgot my tortillas. A big no no. I like the mom pop atmosphere. I got the tampiqueno steak to go. It comes with a 6oz steak, cheese enchilada, rice, beans, tortillas, and roasted green chile. The steak made 2 tacos so I have the enchilada, rice, beans left over for dinner. Definitely coming back!!!!

It's ok. Food was cold and the order was wrong. Give it a chance. May have just been an off day....

We spent overnight in Ft. Stockton. Tired and hungry, my wife and I, gave into tired and went to bed hungry. Next morning we were famished and stopped at Pepitos for breakfast. Good thing we were hungry. I don't recall having been served such a large breakfast. The eggs were huge! My dinosaur eggs were complemented by a humongous serving of fried potatoes. The hot coffee was average, really the only drawback. Our server was attentive and likeable, even if a little slow about checking on us. No real ambiance, but this was offset by the locals who seemed to be perfectly at home at Pepitos. Prices are moderate. A table full of old men like me, who were having a great time laughing and teasing each other. Two other tables full of men from the local power company, getting ready for another hot day. Several other locals give testament that Pepito's is a favorite of locals. Enjoy if you are ever in Ft. Stockton, Texas.

Traveling through town and stopped for the night. Hotel clerk recommended this place and was spot on. Service was prompt and polite. Food was outstanding. Clean old school restaurant in a small town. Must try is the mango margarita

Had a lunch/breakfast with my family while we were in town. Good food, sisters had a variety of dishes from Huevos Ranchero plate, Green Chile Burger for me, Combination plate for another, Burrito for another all food was fresh and good. Recommend if ever in town.

Just a great place to eat. We're on a road trip, found this on Google and just wow. The food was just delicious AND hot! Loved it. The town seems small, like there can't be any good food out here in the middle of nowhere....WRONG. Go eat there. You'll be happy you did. Skip the fast food, take a break, sit down relax and eat and enjoy authentic enchiladas, asado plates, shrimp cocktails and more. I recommend the fish tacos! 🍤

Salsa was good. Careful to wait for a drink b4 diving in, it was warm! They welcomed outsiders very cordially! Meal was great. Had the chili verde, meat was perfect and melted in my mouth! So tender! My son had the chili relleno. He reported it was perfectly cooked and spiced. We both felt this place rivaled our favorite places with their corn tortillas!! We had just hiked up Emory Peak in Big Bend and we headed straight for this place having monster size cups of sweet tea! (The bathroom was clean!) No kidding they missed a 5th star only because the chips were slightly over cooked and a little stale. And the salsa was slightly less than perfect. We’ve eaten at some spot-on Mexican places in Texas and this was a strong 4-1/2. Good stuff, and a great experience!

Great to find some Mex with less Tex! Really tasty and authentic Mexican dishes, friendly service and value prices. Unassuming from outside but almost feels like you’ve crashed a family event when you go in, the place was buzzing and the staff are super friendly. I could eat here for every meal of the day. Yummy. Plus they had a good selection of Mexican beers and soft drinks. Winning.

Staff is super nice and welcoming. They are really a plus in this restaurant! Burrito wasn't very good. But guacamole was delicious.

Delicious food, fast service I have a very sensitive stomach, and the Waitress was super nice and let me sample their breakfast asado to check if it was too spicy for me. The Asado was too spicy, so I went for their mar y Tierra fajita - delicious! Took a photo after a few bites Highly recommend Would come back

My first and only experience at Pepito’s was great! The atmosphere was quaint and homey. The food was authentically excellent! It was served fresh and hot. The servers were accommodating even though they were busy. I will be returning for breakfast and recommend to anyone visiting Ft. Stockton. If you enjoy down home Mexican food, you have got to try Pepito’s! I’ve never taken time out to write a review, but I don’t want you to miss out!🙂👍🏽 I had the steak!

Great fresh food! French fries were not the frozen kind, and they were delicious. Friendly staff too.

Large restaurant, plenty of seating, where you could have a decent meal, nothing more. We had dinner here recently but I couldn’t remember what dish I had. Service is quick though.

Mediocre at best. My family and I were passing through and stopped for breakfast. I ordered a ham and cheese omelet. They couldn't figure that order out and I was left waiting for my food while my family ate. When it finally arrived it was an overcooked rubbery mess. The has browns aren't even crispy. I've worked in the kitchen for ten years and I know that this is badly done. Only positive was the coffee. Otherwise the service was as mediocre as the food.

Pepito's is a GEM!!!! Just left and could not wait to write a review. Everything was so good...even the water. I had the taco plate with rice and beans. It's hard to find good Spanish rice, IMO, and this restaurant nailed it! The shredded chicken and brisket were both quite flavorful. Their fresh fried tortillas were delicious, and I'm impressed that they top their tacos with avocado. Prices are very reasonable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Pepito's was a pleasant surprise along our route in West Texas!

I love this restaurant but today… 11/5/23… the wait staff was absolutely 100% horrible! My son called in to order and they said “we aren’t taking orders” and they hung up on him. I literally called again 2 min after that and asked them when they are taking orders and she took my order. My son goes inside to pick up our order and the women were on their phones watching their social media instead of doing their jobs. They wouldn’t say two words to my son. They dropped our order on the table near the front and walked off. No greetings, no have a nice day… nothing! We took our food home and opened the containers and the food was spilling over the to-go boxes and making a mess. This is the worst experience I have had and seen at this establishment. Truly disappointed that these adults can’t function without their boss being there.

This was a pretty good place to eat. Fresh food. Pretty good. Potatoes were a bit bland, didn't taste good to me, but everything else was good. I ordered chicken pieces. They gave a nice size serving & was tender to eat. Sweet tea was very good.

Fantastic Food!! The salsa had enough kick to it and the chicken burrito plate was amazing. Definitely worth stopping at and enjoying delicious food.

The food flavor and taste were below average. The chicken fajita was dry and had no flavor. The salsa was cold and wasn't tasty. The chips were oily. I didn't order any drinks because the selection was limited. The restaurant ambiance was nice and the staffs were nice and friendly. Just keep in mind you are walking into a small-town restaurant with limited amenities.

Took 3 times to get my wife's order correct. Ordered taquitos, menu said 4, got 3, nothing else on top of them, menu said came with toppings. Service was so poor, she didn't want to correct it.

Food was good staff was good my son and daughter and a family friend had issues the next day after eating there. So not a good experience for them. Wife said margaritas were extremely salty and had visible salt at the bottom of the glass.

This place is DELICIOUS!! We miss good Chile Verde, Chile Colorado and Chile rellenos. This place ticks all those boxes! Thank you for letting us get our good Mexican fix!

Good food and Friendly service. We stopped here for breakfast when passing through fort Stockton. Bacon was thick and coffee was hot! Clean facility with clean restrooms but they do get really busy which leads to slower service. Would eat Pepito’s again.

Great food, great service, great prices!! The red beef enchiladas and house made flautas were delicious! The salsa is incredible! Will definitely stop again.

Food and service was great. Grilled fish was very good. Everything including chips and salsa was brought out. I did not have to ask for anything. Dine in. Nice clean restaurant. Plent of parking.

This is your basic country diner featuring Mexican and American food. We had breakfast at noon. We had chorizo with eggs and green chili with eggs. Both were delicious. The servings were very adequate, but not the over-the-top huge servings some places offer. The service was efficient and friendly. We were on a road trip, but will eat here again on another trip.

Very good Mexican food. We both had the combination plate; chili relleno, beef enchilada and beef taco with authentic corn tortilla, all were delicious! Friendly staff and food was served quickly. Nice casual atmosphere. I would definitely stop in again next time we drove through Ft. Stockton.
