We've stayed at this motel a couple times now and are very pleased with our stays. Very clean and comfortable bed. Great location off the freeway, quiet and no hassle about our pups. I feel safe and the property is fenced. Close to amenities. The outside grounds need some work and could be more tidy so gave 4 stars. Front desk staff friendly. Definitely will be back.

For a Motel 6 this one is a good one to stay at. Rooms where clean and the bed was not broken down like many I have stayed at. Ground were clean. They have a pool but I didn't use it so I can't say anything about it.

Pros: receptionist was nice and rooms are in good shape. Cons: roaches. I asked to be moved to another room and the second also had roaches. No fridge or microwave

If you want something cheap and a clean bed, this is the spot. The rooms are old and are worn. I was given a nice working shower, though.

Motel 6 is a cheap place to stay but you should know what to expect. This one in Fort stockton doesn’t have a fridge, microwave or a kettle. It is not very clean. For me I found some hair in the shower before using it. The sink water is dripping in the floor.The rooms doesn’t smell so good. The only good thing about it is when you get a first floor room, that’s where you can actually park your car infront of the door and go to your room especially if you have kids or heavy things. But if you got a second floor I don’t think it’s worth it. If you are in a roadtrip like we were, i thought we were saving money but since there’s no breakfast and no place to keep your food so you will end up paying the difference in buying breakfast anyway.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place! I will mention, that this place is right nextdoor to the Hampton, and for $90 both nights over the weekend- not much to complain about! We asked for a room facing the back lot so we could watch our truck/trailer, unfortunately no single queen rooms were available, but girl at reception happily just gave us a double room which was so nice of her! Super quiet place, its definitely not the Biltmore but hey it was a clean bathroom clean beds, what more can you ask for Lol. I will say, floors could use some sweeping & window sills need cleaning! Also, maybe dont leave dead bugs on the bathroom floor? Besides that, we were happy! Pool is closed for remodel this season, has vending machines & KBOBS across the street is yummy! Close to Walmart as well.

Staff there are great. However, roaches and bugs in room. The manager, Angie, was very gracious by giving me a lift to the bus station, after checking out. Fort Stockton was disappointing, but the people there are nice.

It was ok but they definitely need to clean more under the beds and check the beds for bed bugs or kissing bugs. I found 1 kissing bug in my room. I do check and you should as well!

Stayed here last night. Rooms definitely need to be cleaned better. There was hair and mold all over the shower, heavy dust on thw window drapes and the AC unit blew what I imagine to be mold all over me. I woke up so congested. The 3 stars are so key for the wonderful front desk woman. She was very friendly, quick and efficient.

The staff was nice and very helpful and understanding but the first room was horrible. My husband had to go to the front to get a different room and sadly the second room was worst than the first!!!! As soon as you walked in, it smelled so bad we had to leave the door open for the smell to leave... The worst part was that we were so tired that we fell asleep and to our surprise we woke up with bed bug bites and had to kill some bed bugs! This is absolutely unexpectable especially if we have children! The pool hasn't been clean, the water is green and trash everywhere! The water smells like sewage so don't even bother to drink or shower!

*FOR THE PRICE* You can't beat it. I stayed twice, one night each bracketing the nights I had reserved inside Big Bend. Front desk was very helpful, recommended a great local food truck, and made check in/out easy. The rooms were clean and mostly quiet. There's some maintenance issues that could be addressed and breakfast is bare bones pre-prepared food (plus an automated pancake machine) but for the money you can't beat it. It's cheap enough I hesitated to stay the first time figuring it couldn't be good at that price point.

safety wise, this hotel is zero, they don't have camera on the building, only front gate they have camera, some one dent our car in parking lot during the parking time, we noticed they don’t have camera. We asked for office, see some photos or recording, they said they don’t have cameras on building, no one answered yet. I’m not happy overall my bad experience… safety is very important.. maybe they don’t care abt..

It was a good price and the personal was pleasant and helpful.the room was clean and nice. Experience was great.

Room was small but clean. Seen no bugs or bed bugs. Dog friendly which is great.

My Experience was Amazing! They have very nice and professional staff, the rooms were very clean above my usual standards. I was appalled at how good the Customer Service was. I definitely would recommend staying here over the rest of the hotels in town!

Our room reaked of cigarettes and there were dirty marks on the doors and walks. I reserved in advance which cost me MORE than if I had just come that night... the girl at the check-in said there was nothing she could do to change my rate. Discouraging.

Needed a break and a nap on my long trek home. Motel 6 worked out perfectly.....affordable, clean and quiet. The gals in the office were friendly and helpful. No ice in the ice machine was the only bummer. The office gals were on it though and it had been restocked by the time I left. Great service and I got the very much needed nap I had stopped for!😁

Friendly staff is about only good thing I have to say. Haven’t stayed in a motel this pathetic in years. Semi clean room, not so clean bathroom. Water smelt like sewage so didn’t shower. A/C sucked. Whole room smelt like a sewer because of water. Bed was incredibly uncomfortably. 2 thin pillows for 2 people. Yeah, no thanks. If you need a cheap place to sleep and don’t care about creature comforts then maybebe this will work.

The customer service was very polite, courteous n professional. However, the rooms.. dirty. The floor was washed with dirty mop. Walls dirty, bedding grayish white. Shower had lime build up. Price was affordable. Just rooms need overhaul, New paint and floors need cleaning. The receptionist gets 5 stars.

Room is small, furniture was in good shape, bathroom was clean enough, beds were ok, good AV, it was VERY dirty under the beds.check in was good and efficient. Hope next time room is cleaner wich is really what I'm looking for, cleanliness.

I stayed here last October and it was one of the best motel stays I have ever enjoyed. The staff was extremely friendly, the rate was very economical, and the room was completely clean and well maintained. The best Motel 6 I have ever stayed in in the past few years!

Loved everything about this place. The price was very right ..the same as some “sketchier “ motels in the area but the property was neat and clean. If you’re disabled like I am they went above and beyond to accommodate me and it is sincerely appreciated. Pet friendly. The pool didn’t work but I was there to sleep not swim. It’s close to everything including a Walmart

First room was the wrong room completely. Second room was better than the first but still shabby and dirty. Stains on the bed coverings. Something I don't even wanna know on the walls in the bathroom. Just felt dirty. Staff was rude and difficult. No extra towels even though they had my credit card on file. Used to be that motel 6 was a reliable place to stop and stay for a good price. I don't know what has happen but the last few I have used have been similar situations. I guess management just doesn't take pride in their places anymore. I will be seeking alternatives from here on out for a new trusted place to stop and rest during my travels. Hope it gets better for you guys at Motel 6.

I have to admit that this motel 6 is one of the best that I ever stay on was so clean nice and comfortable I least my room it was and its good located infront of walmart and restaurants around

Let me start by saying the rates are cheap but the service and staff from management to house keeping is top notch. My hubby recently traveled thru there for work. I had medical issues at home and he was hurrying to get home to care for me. He accidentally left a headset in hotel. It was 3 days after he was there he realized he left it behind. I called I was very impressed with the young man named Aaron at front desk he was polite professional caring. Oh very helpful he took time to go to lost in found and found them. Gave me mangr. Name told me to call next day. I want to give a shout out to those amazing housekeepers who turned it in and didn't keep it from themselves. I was able to get in touch with the wonderful amazing mngr.who also was very professional, polite and understanding and made arrangements to get them back to my hubby. You Rock Motel 6 in Fort stockton TX. Please if you are traveling thru you need to stay here. The whole crew is awesome. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

This was a pretty nice Motel 6. I will definitely stay here again. I have stayed at many and this was one of the nicer ones. Clean and everything functioned well. Good job!!

Front desk lady was very polite but the rooms are hot. AC set on lowest setting at 66° all day and doesn't at all feel like it. We left after getting a 2nd room and same temp. Hot!

Noisy, couldn't get to sleep due to our room on frontage road side, we had lumpy mattress, and there was no coffee pot, no microwave, and there were flying bugs in the room. The premises was dirty and cigarette butts, and some pet/dog waste left by other guests- The price was good for just a stay and rest, yet no standard comfortable amenities are offered.

Great place to rest after a long day of driving. Clean comfortable rooms at great price. Just beautiful cloud formations for us weather watchers with cool rain in a desert setting. I love the place and the great service of the staff.
