We had a wonderful time. Our tour guide, a retired Sgt. was kind, knowledgeable, and a complete pleasure! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach us so much about your local history!

120723 this was my 1st time ever visiting the museum. It was really cool! It has an extensive amount of displays & information. The staff are all volunteers & are extremely helpful, knowledgeable & polite. They hope to be moving to a new, bigger location soon. Donations are very much appreciated & go to very good use.

As a retired Law Enforcement Officer of 33 years I can honestly say this is an outstanding museum. I was able to see and remember police items I haven’t seen in years. The tour guide (retired officer) was awesome with his knowledge and politeness. We both had a chance to tell stories. My Grandson still talks of our visit.

Everyone was so lovely. There was a lady that showed us around but I can't remember her name. Debbie? She used to be a SWAT officer. She was awesome... dressing up my son in all the uniforms and equipment. It was a quick, short, exciting tour rather than long and boring where you lose interest. Then we just walked around at our own pace. I totally recommend bringing your kids... especially if they like police stuff.

An absolutely fantastic museum. We were given an excellent guided tour by one of the retired police who works there, it's definitely worth making a stop here.

Myself and a couple of friends went here over the weekend, as soon as we walked in we were greeted by some very eager and friendly ex police officers. They offered us to either walk around on our own or they offered us a tour and i would 10/10 recommend taking them up on the tour! We learned so many cool facts about the area and the police there and definitely walked away with a much greater respect and understanding of what the police do. If you are in the area definitely stop by!

The police museum was full of great information, cool regalia, and amazing pieces of history. What makes it even better are the retired officers who are there to tie the items to real people. They were very kind and have a great tour. Go and check them out!

What a great tour! So much policing history to see and learn about from the retired officers. Give yourself at least 3 hours to see it all. You can take a guided tour or go on your own - I suggest the guided tour!

Great place, very informative, ask for a tour you won’t be disappointed. You will hear stories of old as well.

It's free admission but they strongly insist on $8 for adults and $6 for children. One of the men who worked there was extremely flirty, which we found disrespectful after several inappropriate comments. My husband and I didn't bring our children and we were told to explore freely at our own pace... Yet one gentleman kept following us around and interrupting our conversations to give us random details. We felt watched and after about 10min he just started giving us the tour which we felt obligated to accept. All in all a little pushy but it was a nice place. A great tribute to the police of our area, with a nice wall showing all of the fallen. It shows how law enforcement had operated for over a hundred years, which is fascinating to say the least. We learned a lot from our "tour". They also have Cincinnati's first police dog there to greet you!

Thank you to Steve Kramer and Joe Hall for your assistance with our father's (retired Lt. Richard C. Karpe) funeral service and preservation of his legacy. Your kind words and continued dedication to the men and women who serve is nothing short of amazing! We are eternally grateful.

Great place to learn about Police history in and around Cincinnati. Enjoyed seeing equipment once used to fight crime. Take a couple of hours and check out this museum. Be sure to buy a challenge coin at their gift shop.

While the mission of law enforcement agencies is to serve and protect, it is clear that the Police Museum has a role in preserving and educating as it relates to the history of policing. Brother Ted, Nephew Randy, and Grand Nephews Mark & Ryan enjoyed our three-hour visit and appreciated your willingness to donate your time and service. The design of the Museum is fun and educational, and the staff delivers from "a walk in the shoes" perspective. Thanks to Bill, Ed, Steve, Paul, Tom, Joe and Gene for a worthwhile experience. The Museum is a treasure, and I sincerely recommend a visit. Tim Schoch

I love this small museum. I have learned lots of things from it and I have met three friendly, lovely, knowledgeable and kind tour guides. I love to talk with them and I appreciate their work and their time. I can feel that they love their work as policemen/FBI before their retired so so much. I am so glad I have met these people and learned things from them. I will definitely go there with my friends again.

This was a small but fantastic museum tribute to the greater Cincinnati police department. We spent an hour and a half there with two retired officers escorting(ha) and giving a great history tour. They were telling their stories when they were cops and it felt like we were on the beat with them. Highly recommend it if you are in town and they may not pester you for money but highly recommend to give, to support the museum.
