Love the atmosphere… friendly service and excellent drinks & menu. My favorite is their seafood chowder & pretzel bites with the Irish flight. Great setting in downtown Fort Wayne and relaxing in a simple authentic pub like atmosphere… my favorite of a growing list of excellent choices in the Fort

As always, JK O'Donnells provided some of the best food this city has to offer. Service is impeccable, the atmosphere is cozy and fun, and the food is just unmatched. It's a favorite date spot that we come back to time and time again!

The food was delicious, it was a little loud but we expected that, so we weren’t upset about it. Our waitress was very attentive and the pub was nice & clean. Definitely a fun experience! My mom tried the Irish Stew and was extremely pleased with the rich flavor. I had a burger and it was huge and very good. The ‘chips’ were homemade and I chose the garlic aioli dipping sauce and OMG it was SO good!!! 10/10 recommend!

Awesome fish and chips and scotch eggs!! 🤩 Loved the root beer too! Great, fast, and friendly service 😄 We parked at the library parking lot for $2.

I had the fish & chips, fish was greasy and fries were soggy. I was expecting crispy/seasoned & flavorful. BBQ Mac & cheese had coleslaw hidden in the dish (would have preferred on the side). Service was inattentive to be polite. Had to ask each time for refills. Menu was unique and authentic Irish, atmosphere was true pub vibes. I would go back & try it again.

Stopped in right at opening today and had the best experience. The server described every dish that was on special with such great detail that I wanted to try them all. I ended up getting a half sandwich(corned beef and slaw) with a bowl of the specialty sausage and cheese potato soup. This soup was thick, creamy and had the best flavor. All of my friends tried specialty drinks and they each enjoyed the ones they got. We will definitely be returning!

We went to hear a local group who sings at JK each month. The food is always great, but tonight's appetizer special of duck wings was fantastic. The sauce was perfect and the meat was so tender! Great food, great beer, great music, and a fun atmosphere.

This place is amazing and as always the food was delicious!!! My husband's favorite birthday lunch every year. I love going because it's not crazy noisy as some places are. Just saying you will never go wrong with the fish and chips, pure YUM.

A co-worker chose this place wanting to have a group outing before we left this area. I'll be the first to say if it were up to me this would not have been my first or my second choice. Menu consisted lots of sandwiches some burgers, soups and a few entrees. Now there was a huge selection of beer and other types of alcohol ( I don't drink). I ended up ordering the seafood chowder. The consistency and texture of the dish was good it just didn't have any flavor. I mean absolutely no flavor whatsoever. The service was outstanding.

Their scotch eggs are great! I also got fish and chips. Hubby got the something like beef with some potatoes but, I'm unsure what the name of the name. Overall, the place is very decent for gatherings and party.

Absolutely loved this place! The atmosphere, the music and the service were all spot on. The staff were all very friendly from the time we walked in the door to when we left. Always wanted to try an authentic Irish pub and we had a great time. The food was delicious and I even had a grape soda in the bottle! Brought back memories! Wanted to try a Guinness but I was driving and I am a light weight when it comes to drinking so I figured it best to skip it on this trip. There is parking right around the corner from the restaurant if you can;t find any out front. I often worry about driving downtown in cities but this was not hard to get to at all. If you're in the Fort Wayne area and want to try some great fish & chips this is the place to go! Loved it and thanks to the staff!

The fish and chips were soo good. The only problem I had was with the drink special which was half off. When I got the check that shot cost nearly as much as my meal. I felt the waitress should have told me the price when she suggested it.

Loved the little nook we sat in. Sat and played cards while enjoying our drinks and appetizer!! Three free samples of what is on tap is nice for drinks you want to try first before purchasing.

My daughter took me out for my birthday. And she ordered the fish and chips which was ok. The cod was good but the chips were terrible. I ordered the pub burger which inedible, I'm sure that it was not even a burger........it was disgusting. My daughter took a bite after I did and she spit it out in her napkin. With the one bite I took I felt sick to my stomach all day. Service was terrible, she didn't offer to take it off the bill, so we paid $40 for both. I'll never go there again.

Great pub environment with a family room in the back! Enjoyed the corned beef sandwich. Delicious! Cocktails are very good too!

The staff are clearly trained to make this a great experience. The food is delicious, and the drinks are perfectly-made. And the music!!! The folk musicians they have playing on some Wednesday nights are amazing. Their talents really lend to the Irish pub experience. I have enjoyed every visit.

I go to JK's sometimes. My friend told me that they have best mash potatoes in the city. They definitely have great Irish meals. I will say that it's busy place to get a seat you're in the heart of downtown so parking is troublesome. Favorite drink is the "Man and Superman" made with a vanilla bourbon. They don't have every spirits like tequila but have others. I didn't give 5 stars because it's an "old people" bar worth no music they close at midnight. It's good for meeting friends for a drink. Especially for a group of 4. It's gets hard for big groups during wedding season when the back room is taken. They have lots of craft beer. Definitely Guinness. It's worth going on a week day

It had been several years since I had dined here at JK's. Struggling to find a nice place to eat that wasn't too terribly busy is often hard in the Fort. We got really lucky here! The place was busy, but no wait. Our waitress got our drink orders right away and we reviewed the menu. The staff was very friendly, and allowed me to taste several different beers, before making my decision. They had a pretty large craft beer section, and several other options to choose from. We started with the Brussel Sprouts for the appetizer. They were so tasty! the added shaved cheese on top, either Parma or Pecorino, and dressed nice too. I went with the Fish and Chips! Those were some of the best fries I had eaten in a long time! the garlic aioli was spot on to dip those in! The Fish, fried to perfection! It was still almost too hot to eat when I took my last bite. My wife had the Sheppard's Pie, with ground lamb. I had to tried it as well, it too was so packed with flavor, amazing! Great Food, Very Nice Staff, Friendly Atmosphere! need to remember to go back more often!

I found out about this place after a disappointing visit at a nearby restraunt and I decided to give it a try because I never been to an Irish pub before. Needless to say, I was amazed by the quality of the food I got. The shepards pie and the scotch eggs are among the best things I ate in fort wayne and it is a go too every time I go to this place, which I will frequent this place for years to come.

JK's without a doubt has the best fish and chips in Fort Wayne. Huge filets, crispy potatoes, and homemade tartar sauce make for the perfect pairing with any of your favorite beverages. Speaking of beverages, JK's menu has tons of them! They offer plenty of beers, ciders, and ales from both local breweries and from out of state. The turkey rueben was a much lighter interpretation of its traditional beef counterpart. The rye bread and dressing were very classic but the substitution of turkey was surprisingly pleasant. My favorite part of the evening was sitting out back under the patio lights and enjoying the company of my wife and puppy.

Great local Fort Wayne establishment. My wife and I stopped for lunch during the week. Service was amazing. Great selection of Irish cuisine. I had the corned beef on rye with homemade fries. Delish! Easy parking out front on Wayne Street.

Very good sandwich, pub entree restaurant. We did not drink, but there was a wide, and seemingly good, selection of craft beers. Ordered fish and chips and burger. Both were exvellent. The server was good and also friendly. A lot was going on in downtown Fort Wayne and he was busy. Still goo though. Ate there before and will likely return. Only four stars because they were packed and everyone was close together
