Great hotel. Looks run down on the outside but surprisingly my room was very nice. Clean towels everyday and trash taken out, nice comfortable bed with clean sheets, covers and pillows. Nice sized tv on the wall, wifi worked great, front desk was very understanding and paitent with me when I had to pay for my after work. Would definitely recommend, it's one of the nicer hotel for a decent price. There is a $100 deposit fee that I didn't know about though so just a heads up.

I work here and it's awesome. Its clean, my fellow crew and management are welcoming and friendly, and we do housekeeping everyday. There is a small fridge and microwave plus a phone (landline) provided for you in your room. It's a great place to be. The laid back, relaxed atmosphere is very inviting....

A comfortable room, pet friendly location, with a friendly staff. However, housekeeping may be an issue. The shower lacked a curtain the bathtub drain had hairs from a previous guest, and the room did smell as if someone had been smoking within. Furthermore. It would have nice if we were informed upon check-in that the ice-machine was either turned off (I would assume due to covid-19) or broken. Overall a nice stay, our dog didn't have anything to complain about.

I had booked a room at a different hotel in Ft Wayne and my husband and I went into the room and walked out there was bed bugs, roaches and I’m not sure what else was at that hotel we had no idea where we was going to stay at for 2 nights at 7pm on a Friday night after driving 2 hours from home, so we came across The Red Roof Inn, and I am so glad we did. The staff was amazing! The gentleman who checked us in was beyond nice and we got our room cheaper than the other hotel we were going to stay at. The room was perfect for us, very clean and cozy for 2 days. I would highly recommend the hotel and would stay again! We are so appreciative that they had a room and we were able to stay where it was clean and no bugs. Thank you for giving us such a good experience after what we had been thru with the other hotel!

These crooks does not tell you about the $100 deposit when you book. After 10 hours of driving, when checking in they said I needed to deposit an additional $100 For a room I already paid for? They can’t refund it and they refuse to check me in. Puts me in a bind because I don’t have the money. We’ve been on the road and we’re tired. Luckily for us a stranger offered to pay the deposit. We will be avoiding Red Roof Inn for their greed and terrible customer service

Leaving it a 2 only bc of how nice the lady was who checked us in at 3am with a check out of noon and helped us change rooms with ease. Main complaints: 1st room was dirty. The bed was made with dirty sheets, the phone was visibly dirty and the bath looked like it hadn’t been clean in a while. 2nd room was cleaner, you could tell by the smell. BUT when we showered in the morning, the shower showed signs that it needed to be replaced and the curved shower curtain rod was on an angle as it looked like someone had pulled it out of the wall. Plus the ac didn’t work.

You get what you pay for. Clean but not updated. The wall in our room could use some attention. Looked like a table was there for years lol

I had an emotional support animal with me and was told several times about her being in heat that it was not ok. Being a hotel that allows animals they should take into consideration that female animals do have periods and shouldn't take your deposit for mother nature showing up

I think it’s a great budget friendly hotel. The man who checked us in was efficient and got us processed quite quickly. The rooms were very clean!! A bit on the small side but who cares I am only watching tv and sleeping here. What a treat it was to have a whole king-size bed to myself. With clean smelling sheets and pillowcases.

Front desk was really sweet and understanding. He explained everything properly. I brought my cat in and it was no problem at all. The room was clean and well made. The coffee maker was stocked up. It’s a very good price for the hotel room. I would definitely book again!

This room smelled good. The night before we had been to a motel that the rooms stank and my daughter had an asthma attack and we had to find different accomodations for her for the night. But she slept well here!

This is one of the better Red Roof hotels that we have used. It is in pretty good shape, yet still reasonably priced. We often use Red Roofs because they allow pets at no charge.

This hotel has an ideal location right off the hwy, although, heads up it is nestled between a truck stop and a strip joint. Beds were comfortable and clean. The hallways smell like musty smoke, the bathroom floor in our room had what appeared to be pet hair from a previous guest all over it. The toliet bowl tank cover didn't even match let alone fit in the tank. Water pressure in the shower is poor And the multiple wall plaster job patches was an added design bonus.

Booked this hotel because the better hotels were booked for local basketball tournaments. Me, my husband and teen son were nervous about what this hotel would be like especially since it is next to a strip joint. We were pleasantly surprised with our room which we stayed in for 2 nights. The room , floors, bathroom appeared clean. The sheets were fresh. The towels aren’t 4/5 star towels but that’s ok. There were stains on shower curtain but it was clean… I can live with that. It was quiet, no smell of weed in our room at end of hall across from stairs 2nd floor. We slept good on our beds, showered and were refreshed for the day. They have a little coffee to get you started. They changed trash and towels and that’s all my bougie self needed. We saved 400 or so dollars going to the budget hotel instead of staying with the basketball team. My bougie teen gave his approval too so I’d say everyone’s expectations and experiences are different so make your own judgements. I’d give this red roof another stay and hopefully it will be just as pleasant as this first time.

This hotel is a dump with rude service like out of the movies. I checked in early afternoon and after an hour car was getting a jump below my window so i couldnt sleep. I complained to front desk and they were not willing to do anything not even another room. Walls are paper thin and you could hear conversation and tv in adjacent. To top it off the young girl at the front desk was extremely rude.

The workers have been more than welcoming and so helpful! I haven't had one issue with bed bugs or roaches, like I have at other surrounding hotels. Thank you so much to Srinivas for being so kind and helpful!

Roach motel, room stinks of tobacco. There was a construction crew getting drunk in the parking lot and a strip club next door. We checked in and I left my wife at the hotel while I went to an appointment. When I came back my wife found a cockroach in our room and captured it. I took it to the desk and asked for a refund. The clerk called the manager who sad he would refund. When we got back from our vacation we put in for a refund at Price line and the manager refused to refund our money.

Pleasantly surprised how nice this hotel was. The entrance was clean and smelled nice. The room was clean and the mattress was firm. The TV didn't work and the new owner came right over to fix it. If you use cash for security deposit, staff inspects room before check out. The only cons there is no complimentary breakfast. Although there is a vending machine with microwavable food. The shower water pressure isn't great. There are cigarette butts littered all over since there's "no smoking" in hotel. You can walk to the diner or across the highway to buy warm beer at the gas station. There is a strip bar across the parking lot from hotel. 17 minute Uber drive to restaurants. We'd definitely stay here again.

I stayed at this hotel several times, constant problems with registration, you wait one and a half, two hours. in the rooms as in roulette, something definitely will not work! in the morning they knock on you at 10:30 with questions, will you renew the number! bypass them!

Small rooms but it was clean and bug free. No handicap parking but there are several entrances. only complaint was the ice covered parking lot and near the door.

Manager and staff very kind and honest. Rooms nice,, clean,, well stocked. Actually going to go back for a few days. I've stayed in a lot of hotels/motels over last 40 years and I'm never disappointed in Red Roof Inns!

When entering the room it was very well taken care of and very peaceful. Not a lot of noise so being able to rest was a plus. I recommend staying here is you get the chance.

This is 1 of the best hotels here in Fort Wayne- this is not dirty or it doesn't have a nasty scent. They are clean and definitely worth the price. I actually can stay here! They come with a microwave and a fridge, plus cable and free Wifi!

Old hotel. Poor location. BED BUGS! Sirens anytime all night long. Truck stop across the street. With all the loud noises. I wouldn't walk out at night. And brings your food with you. Delivery is very expensive. Would not recommend. And definitely not going back!

The rooms were FILTHY . When we walked in Mickey Mouse welcomed us at the door . The showers were filled with mold and looked like they haven’t been cleaned all month !! So as we continued to inspect the room we noticed the sheets were filled with blood stains and little bugs bed spring . That was the last straw we went to the Motel 6 and had an AMAZING experience. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

Not really a bad place to stay but when we booked the room online, we looked at the pictures of the rooms and when we checked in, the rooms are ALOT SMALLER than advertised!! The bathroom is really big, but the bedroom part is small and cramped. Room was clean, for the most part, could've been cleaner, especially the sheets and pillows. Also, have a hard time understanding what the staff are saying. Obviously English isn't their first language and they try, but it's still hard to understand what they're saying (NOT being rude/racist, just saying they're hard to understand). So if you don't mind having a small room for the night or weekend, like us, then it's not too bad. Also have to pay a $100 cash or credit card deposit at the time if check-in, which we were not aware of at time of booking. Not a big deal, just could've told us when we booked. Also, since we paid the deposit with credit card, they said after we check out, itbwull take 8 days for the $100 to go back into our account.

Location was fine. Floors were dirty and not mopped but beds were clean and decently comfortable. However apparently it's okay to do very noisy repairs at 7am! Checkout time is not until 11am & people are sleeping. You don't pay $100+ per night to be woken up by hammering & loud air compressor noise at early morning hours 😡. Management should be focused on their clientele and not be making noisy repairs before checkout time! The staff was friendly.

Nice little spot to tuck away for a few nights without killing the bank. The place was clean but the rooms are pretty small, cozy but small. Bathroom could use updating but still was a nice shower and felt good after a long drive. 3/5

For under $200 it was better than so many other expensive hotels. I would have easily paid over $200. I enjoyed my stay at the red roof inn. Rooms were amazing and clean. The staff at the desk were extremely respectful and made me feel very welcome. That’s how you treat your customers. If I ever need another hotel I’m coming to Red Roof inn. Overall I loved and and enjoyed my stay !!

Beware if you have a pet they take a large down payment around 100 and you won’t get it back from 5-7 business days after you checkout. I wish I would’ve know ahead of time instead of the lady just taking my card without telling me. Then when it was done she said it was too late. Not so good customer service! Out bed sheets weren’t clean either! We found blood stains on our sheets and when we called the front desk they seemed bothered, they wouldn’t even bring us fresh sheets!!

The management wasn’t very friendly. The management also double charged me for a weekend stay. My budget is very tight as I’m in a very low income. The front desk when inquiring about the double charge said the $260.92 would be refunded & fall off their records. The better Business Bureau has many complaints of them double charging. When talking to desk on 3-24 when they tried taking back out of my account $260.92 said the $160.98 sitting to be released. I paid 1 nite on 1-21-22 with $100.00 deposit. Decided to stay weekend of 1-22-22 & 1-23-22. I got double charged. I was charged $260.98 then $160. 98 + another $100.00 deposit. For 2 nite stay that weekend. According to them $260.92 would fall off, refunded to me. It was on 2-20-22 but on 3-24-22 Red Roof tried taking back that amount , front desk said they have the $160.98 to be released. Of course it bounced causing me to be neg. in bank account. They have tied up my money for 2 months now. I originally booked on line, so that $100.00 deposit couldn’t be transferred to weekend booking Red Roof had to charge deposit again since booked directly with them at front desk. So I’m due $100.00 deposit from on line booking. Then $100.00 for further stay of weekend & 1more day. Deposits are refundable. I kept room spotless. Red Roof saw they refunded $100.00 dep. & then new management thought I was over paid back although I wasn’t . No one there knows in management what or how the system works. Mr. K automatically assumes he’s right by looking at records , then flat refusing to make it right. Not same management. BBB has complaints about this to. Now I’m overdrawn as I never got any notice from them playing with my money. I’m on a serious budget and this has gave me hardship.

Great stay. Doesn't look great on the outside but the room was exactly what I expected. The front desk staff were awesome. Made our stay enjoyable ☺️
