I tried Rusty Taco today for breakfast. It's in the Ridglea area off Camp Bowie (which reminds me a bit of The French Quarter in New Orleans). It's such a nice area of Fort Worth. Anyways, I decided on the bacon taco, chorizo taco, and jalapeño sausage taco. All breakfast tacos come with egg & cheese. I also got a mango margarita. Their drinks are offered with "the cheap stuff" or "the good stuff", but let me tell ya: the cheap stuff is still strong! The tacos came out looking good. The salsa choices are mild, medium, and hot, but I'd have to say the mild is much spicier than the medium sauce (which I loved). The jalapeño sausage taco was a little disappointing (wasn't a fan of the flavor), but that chorizo taco is where it's at - it was SO good! It was about $20 for just myself with the 3 tacos & "cheap stuff" margarita. Outdoor seating is available which will be great with this cooler weather we are starting to get!

Inside the Ridglea Village Shopping Center, (and right next to our masseuse and chiropractor) lies Rusty's Taco! I had some time to kill, so suddenly it was "Taco Time". Nice environment to dine in, or out, on their warm and sunny patio. I chose from the new specialty menu and ended up with the Green Street Taco. The pork with all those flavors were outstanding and that flour tortilla..yummy! Washed it down with an ice cold Coca-Cola in a large glass bottle! Nice job Rusty...see ya again soon 🤙

The Monday evening crew sucks! It's a completely different vibe from the lunch. They are kids who don't understand English. Literally not one person there could speak English and answer our simple questions about the food. It was 2 hours before close They were out of 2 meats. When they delivered the tacos they couldn't even tell us what they were so we didn't know whose food was whose. How do they not know what they just cooked?? My advice is to hire adults who speak English.

Tacos are the theme, the script, the storyboard, and the production. It's no nonsense. It's is . . . what it is. It doesn't know the questions to ask. You bite them. You chew them up. Then, you swallow them and what next is, you chase them with a cold beer on tap or a cheap margarita. That's all I got, man. Btw, Rusty Tacos are located throughout North Texas.

Great food and good tacos. They’re “street” tacos so a little on the small side which is normal. Order an extra if you’re really hungry. Chips and queso are above average. Smooth and creamy. The orange habanero hot sauce will make your nose run. Use that judiciously! Also parking is a giant PITA, but I can't hold that against the quality of the food.

This place is fantastic! Never been here and not gotten good service! These guys are on their game. The margaritas are great and the food is on point. Happy hour from 4-7 with 3$ half priced well margs and 6$ top shelf. Very delicious. But Salvador and Austin really tied the place together with their outstanding customer service and menu knowledge! Thanks Rusty Taco! We love ya!

I had the grilled Baja Shrimp and the Green Taco. My Mom had the Texican and the Fried Shrimp Tacos. All were delicious and filling. The Margaritas are great as well.

First time trying this place and it was really good. I asked for a shrimp taco and ended up getting a fish taco. I didn't make much fuss because I was already home and didn't feel like going back out. The fried chicken and Texican taco was good.

Absolutely yummy tacos, and the brisket nachos were enough to fill 2 people. Atmosphere is very plain, no table service. The prices are high, though: one taco, one order of brisket nachos and 3 bottled soft drinks were $26. The taco was average-sized and had no sides. But it was the best taco I've ever had!

Rusty taco has become a staple for me and my wife when we want something still relatively cheap and yet higher quality than fast food. This counter serve street taco restaurant has excellent food. Between the two of us, we have tried a large portion of their lunch tacos and just now are starting to try some of their breakfast tacos, which are served all day. Though once you find one you like, it's difficult not to order that one every time you go. Our personal recommendations are the Picadillo Taco and the Fried Chicken Team Fave Taco. Their drink selection is between fountain drinks, beer (bottled and draft), and margaritas (frozen and on the rocks). They have a happy hour weekdays 4-7 as well as $3 Margaritas all day Monday and $4 Swirls all day Tuesday. Overall, great customer service and atmosphere. Pretty stellar food and drinks.

Worst experience ever. First of all, I ordered a margarita and per the cards sitting around they are $3.50 on Tuesday but the girl kept trying to charge me $8. Finally I showed her the card with the Tuesday price and she rang it up. But they never gave me the margarita. I had to ask for it multiple times. The girl taking the order was struggling just taking our order. I kept having to repeat myself. I ordered a large chips and queso and had to go ask them if they could give it to me while I waited on my tacos… the manager gave it to me but gave me a small queso. I had to tell her I paid for a large. Then… I had been there the previous week and ordered the shrimp tacos and they drowned them with the sauce. It was terrible. So when we went back 10/17 I requested the sauce on the side. When they came out one had sauce on the side and the other the sauce was again drenched on the taco. So I requested they remake that taco and actually spoke to the manager. She took my taco and then they never remade it. So I’m sitting there waiting until finally I had enough. Went to the register and asked for a refund for that taco. The girl I spoke to said she didn’t take my order. Does it really matter who took it? Just give me the refund. That girl had been training the girl who took our order and was standing there when we placed the order. Anyway the entire time she was processing the refund she just kept smirking at me. I was so angry. That was so rude. I looked over at the manager and she gave me a dirty look so I went over to her and asked why she was looking at me like that. She said nothing. All 3 of those women were catty and rude. No customer service at all. I will never go back there and will tell everyone about my experience.

Pleasant atmosphere and food served in timely manner. I ordered ground beef nachos; not too mild and not too spicy, a good blend with a splendid taste.

My experience at Rusty’s is usually fair. But recently my order is always messed up. Don’t get me wrong great food, just the customer service and prices are definitely not worth it with other places to choose from. Happy hour to-go is a child size cup, as if the regular cups are already small enough and very pricey. All and all I stopped making that my #1 spot and went with a different restaurant to go to after work and on weekends.

It is a modernized spin of Tex-Mex food. If you are looking for traditional Tex-Mex or real Mexican food, this is not the place to go. However, please don't read this as a negative. Their food was good. The atmosphere was nice. And the flavors throw a lot of curve balls which is something I actually enjoy. I will go back. But as I said at the top, modernized Tex-Mex is their niche and they do very good job at it.

Definitely have to get their margaritas and chips and queso. It's been a while since I've been to a Rusty Taco but since I was in the area I went by for a drink and some tacos, Brandon Mosley was a huge help on what to get and I settled on a margarita, chips and queso, a rusty taco and a fried fish taco and man it didn't disappoint! Would go again!
