I had high hopes. I was hyped up by a local about this place. It is right next to the livestock exchange, how can it not be delicious. But I happened. It was mediocre at best. All meh. The best part was the skillet potato. Taste of Texas in Houston has them beat. The dessert menu and drink menu need some improvement too. Overall, I was underwhelmed with this location. I don't think I'll ever come back. Giving 2 stars for at least cooking the steak to the right temperature.

Great servers and willingness to go extra mile thus 2 stars as they were two behind the bar but the food is really horrible. Seriously horrible. We ordered ribs and it tasted like we got some leftover. Super dry, lightly warm and absolutely no taste and couldn’t even had another bite and considering I was hungry like a lion then the chef had to be an “expert” in driving away your hunger by not eating at all. Probably a dietary specialist.

Historic place with plenty of cool modern relevance and convenience! Did you know they shot some scenes from the popular show “1883” here!?!? Not to mention the best steak I’ve had in quite some time. Service was wonderful and the food was amazing! Highly recommend eating here and next time I hope we can stay In the hotel!

Hunter Brother's H3 is another great place in Forth Worth, a great restaurant with great food. I especially recommend snacks like Guacamole which the waitress prepares in front of your eyes :) it tastes great. Ribs are also very good and Lemonade not too sweet. We were there in several people and everyone was very pleased. I recommend this place.

Great lunch!! After a day at the stockyards, we needed some lunch and saw this place. The decor and vibe is "old west" and looks really good. Service was great and friendly. The food was delicious. Had a pulled pork sandwich and a chicken fried steak. Amazing!! Both prepared and seasoned perfectly. Had a side of cream corn which was also great. If you're in Fort Worth, in the stockyards, or just want a good meal in a cool place, this is the place to come to.

We did the best decision choosing this restaurant for the lunch. Everything was excellent, our server was fast and attentive. The food is very delicious. If you are coming here, order the rib rack, you won’t regret it. The meat was soft and falling off the bone. Also ordered a hamburger which was a good choice as well. The meat was very juicy and flavorful. Atmosphere is very authentic, you really feel that you are in Texas, starting from chairs, menu, design details, etc. The prices are reasonable. We had a great experience at H3 Ranch!

Chose this place for dinner while visiting the Stockyards and rodeo. Loved the decor and service. With the exception of the freaky shadow that one of the bulls has... Ordered the tableside guacamole and it was EXCELLENT. Highly recommended if you visit. Our portions were beyond generous, cooked perfectly with plenty to take home. Will certainly return next time I'm in the Fort Worth area.

Great steak house in a beautiful saloon setting. The wood-fired sirloin steak, medium rare, was cooked to perfection. It comes with a salad and baked potato, which are delicious as well. Beware that the wood-roasted salsa, which we had as a starter, is pretty spicy. The pecan pie for dessert is a bit too sweet for my taste but still very enjoyable when combined with ice cream. Overall, for lunch or dinner at the Fort Worth Stockyards, H3 is probably the best option.

A friend recommended H3, and it did not disappoint. My waitress Kaylee had awesome energy and kept my Ice Tea full, which is always a win! I started with an order of the potatoes, based on the description I was expecting more but they were still good. The real star was the tomahawk porkchop, the flavor was incredible! Also, the cranberry sauce served with the porkchop isn't needed but does have great flavor so, I do suggest trying it too. 2ndly the roasted corn on the cab was excellent too! I was disappointed with the spinach as I love pine nuts but IMO it was missing something.

Overall disappointing if you are going in for food. I went in and started with the three rib appetizer. While the presentation looked good, the ribs were dry and slightly tough. My entrée was the brisket, and it was supposed to be prime beef. I don’t know how prime beef could ever be this dry and tough. When I have to cut my brisket with a serrated knife, you know something is not right. I also did not enjoy the baked beans that were served with it, but I don’t consider that to be an objective review, since everybody prefers their baked beans differently so I don’t hold it against them. Overall, the atmosphere is pretty good for an attempt to look like an old western bar, but it’s your pretty normal tourist trap. If you’re wanting a quick drink, enjoy yourself. If you’re wanting something to eat, go elsewhere.

We both had the pulled pork sandwich. It was very tasty and a good price! The atmosphere is also very cool and conveniently located in the stockyards. Service was very friendly. The downside is that this place does not have sweet tea, and I would have appreciated more seasoning on the “ranch fries”, they hardly had any seasoning to differentiate them from regular fries in our order.

H3 Ranch is SO DELICIOUSLY GOOD! The service was attentive, the atmosphere was fitting for Fort Worth, and the food was hands down mouth watering. We really enjoyed the Burnt Ends! I must add that their margaritas were some of the best that I’ve had. I would highly recommend this restaurant to my closest friends and family. I will definitely come back.

My wife and I went for our anniversary. Service was good but food was mediocre, not very seasoned. At least my wife's fish wasn't. My steak was OK, definitely better than the fish. I would say with it being in the Stockyards you're paying more for the atmosphere than the food.

We went for breakfast and it did not disappoint. The pancake is hands down the best pancake I’ve ever had. They have oatmeal in them and oh my gosh, delicious. I had the two eggs your way and my husband had the steak and eggs. Everything was amazing. I’m not a fan of hash browns, but they’re were so good, not greasy, and seasoned to perfection.

The inside of this restaurant is very neat. Well decorated and perfectly delivers the perfect Texan ambience. The food was pretty good but we had to send a steak back and some of the meat was a bit fatty. Service was excellent and a big thanks to Chris for all his help. Give ‘em a go!

Saturday July 23rd we had a delicious dinner at H3 Ranch in the Fort Worth Stockyards. Food was delicious. I had their flaming tenderloin (they don't flame at the table) and husband had the rib steak. Both steaks were fork tender and delicious. Husband was impressed with the baked potato, the flavor was very good. We ordered the peach cobbler and were impressed by it. I recommend saving room for peach cobbler when you go. Tony was our waiter and clearly a professional. His friendly manner was wonderful and his suggestions were spot on. We enjoyed the atmosphere and food, having Tony as our waiter made the experience even better.

We have been traveling the USA and this is by far the best restaurant we have had! Christy our waitress was phenomenal!! She knows everything on how they cook the food and the fresh ingredients they used which helped us decide on what to order. The burnt ends & sausage cream corn were to die for.

Fabulous place for a true Texas experience. Food is great, service can be a hit or miss - the ambiance is fantastic. Old fashioned, Margaritas, Queso, Gaucamole, Chicken fried steak, Spit roasted chicken and Pulled pork sandwich were phenomenal. The ribs were average at best.

Coming here has been an incredible experience. The atmosphere is fantastic and the food superb, we ordered the rib eye steak and the ribs and they were absolutely outstanding. Well worth the 35 minute wait, which wasn’t too bad as we waited in the main street shopping while waiting for the text

BLUF: Great food, Great drinks, great service, great atmosphere. Server was awesome and the bar was cool with all the saddles as bar stools. Drinks were great, I had the spicy margarita and it was full of flavor. Can also get drinks to go, must not be an open container law. Chips and queso were awesome with fresh chips. I really enjoyed the flavor and cooked perfectly steak. The creamed corn was the right choice for a side. Salad was good. Neat atmosphere in a great area. Lots of cowboy hats

Love the place. Family atmosphere, clean, friendly service. Food was very tasty! Fresh fries with good seasoning. Attendant was too busy. Restrooms need some attention, there’s always a line and get crowded inside, there’s only two stools and one door didn’t close.

In town for a concert and stopped here for a steak. All in all pretty good food but far from the best Prime Rib I have eaten. Great ambiance and excellent beers on tap. The wait staff was great. I’ll try a different cut of meat next time we are in town.

Had a night at the stockyards. Needed a steak, and H3 Ranch was up for the task. I usually don’t bother with salads or sides, meat eater only usually, but sampled everything this night. Salad was solid, steak was cooked to perfection medium rare and had a side of ribs…how awesome is that? The baked potato was a nice addition as well. If you’re in the area and want a good steak, come by, you won’t regret it. I highly recommend this place. Come out and support your local businesses and avoid chains!
