Came in tonight with my girlfriend to try a new place for cocktails and our experience was awful from the beginning to the end. From the guy who checked our IDs to our waitress, (to the guy who adjusted a lamp behind my head without saying anything) those who we interacted with us seemed arrogant and as if we were wasting their time with our presence. Drinks (1 espresso martini and 1 old fashioned) were both below average, compared to what you can get here on Main Street. (I recommend Tiki Bar & Amber Room) There seems to be a lot of good reviews, which is baffling to me based on our experience this evening. It's cramped, the staff was unapproachable and the drinks subpar. If you choose to go anyway, behoove my warning.

Chill vibe with a cute new cocktail menu. However, I was taken aback when they asked only me to hold a credit card to ensure I didn't steal their cup. 🤨 Before I could respond, they said they needed me to understand that it wasn't just because I was me (the only black person in the establishment) but because the specific drink I ordered came in a special cat cup which another customer had stolen in the past. I complied to keep peace but that was totally inappropriate regardless of why. Document it as standard policy on the menu next to that drink, take a card in advance for ALL tabs, I don't know-- anything besides singling a customer out as a potential thief, unwarranted. It definitely soured my experience so it'll be my last.

Excellent drinks and I love the whole vibe of the place. Almost like a speakeasy but with great outdoor seating as well.

Excellent small bar with a vast list of specialty cocktails. I highly recommend the Cafe de Paris or Crime Diva. Everything here was delicious, the mixologists that work here are on point, so be sure to tip them like it. The vibe was chill even though it was a packed house and i felt like i was the only one on my phone! (What the?)

I loved the Christmas pop-up. Creative menu, intimate space, nice memorabilia glasses and most importantly EXCELLENT cocktails.

Fantastic bar. I've been coming here for years and have never been let down. The staff are friendly and interesting people who can hold great conversations, and they have a knack for figuring out what to serve you up if you're not sure. Their menu usually rotates through different themes throughout the year, but with their big stock of spirits they can make you just about anything. They also serve some beers for those who prefer that, and also have a selection of great non-alcoholic beverages like a Lyre's whisky cola and can whip up other alcohol-free mocktails as well. Highly recommended!

Speak easy style bar. Very small and cozy which i prefer. Selections are large and they aren’t stingy with the alcohol. Sometimes they put even a little too much. Great place for a night cap. His and her drinks pictured 😏 and then Buck the Queen, taste like a paleta, yum!

We’ve been regulars at Proper and enjoy the cocktails and atmosphere. This last visit we were charged a 3% credit card fee, before we even showed our card, on top of some of the most expensive drinks in town. We paid cash. Probably for the last time. Bad business decision. It was nice while it lasted.

Went here with coworkers on a Saturday night for some cocktails. There were 7 of us and we were in a corner table meant for what should be 4 max. We didn’t mind because at least we got a table. The drinks were excellent and the waitress kept coming to check on us continuously which was great. What wasn’t great was that toward the end of the night she was like “y’all haven’t ordered in a while, so either please leave or order bc that’s our manager’s policy.” We were kinda confused and felt like we had to order another round even though we had been ordering a few drinks at a time almost nonstop all night. Our tabs totaled about $400+ combined so the fact that she was trying to kick us out because “they had to turn away several large groups” felt a little pushy especially since we were already squeezing 7 people into a table meant for what really shouldn’t be more than 4. We decided to order a couple more drinks to ease her stress, and then immediately closed out. This would be a great date spot or something, but just keep it to 2-4 people and try not to stay more than 45 mins to an hour I guess.

An excellent local bar with a lovely back patio that allows dogs. Drinks were great, service was excellent - and happy to help us with water for our dogs while we sat back to relax. We enjoyed our brief visit, and it'd quickly be a habit if we lived nearby!

Stopped here on a Saturday evening. Great cocktails, staff, and music. The menu offers a wide range of craft cocktails to satisfy a variety of flavor profiles. The attention to detail from the staff shows you how much they care about the quality of what the customer is served. Will be stopping by again soon, hope to see you there!

A cool place with nice ambiance, attentive service and great selection of cocktails. Happy hour value is best in town for a cocktail bar. We tried deviled eggs and the server recommended pickled veggies that paired very well. Overall, a special place to enjoy cocktails for any occasion.

I love this place! Knowledgeable bartenders. Great happy hour. The old fashioned is amazing. I got the deviled eggs and would get them again. The decor reminds me of a speakeasy. Velvet curtins, interesting decor. I can't wait to go back.

If you want great mixologists with a 'dive bar' vibe, this is your spot. Highly recommend!

Had a wonderful evening at this cocktail bar. Great atmosphere and service. I don’t drink alcohol and the bartender took time to make me some wonderful non alcoholic drinks. My wife does the drinking and reports that the drinks she had from the cocktail menu were very well done and enjoyable. Highly recommend.

The best bar in Fort Worth! The owners are exceptional and truly enjoy everyone that enters their place. Every cocktail is made to perfection and they have several to choose from. Great low key vibe and a fabulous jukebox! They have outdoor seating as well as several areas inside!

Absolutely loved this place. Amazing craft cocktails. Annie was absolutely amazing. He knowledge and ability to make fun drinks based on flavor profiles is amazing. Dylan is the most welcoming and enthusiastic person. It is such a joy to walk in and be greeted while also feeling like you are being attended to. The cocktails are amazingly creative and I feel I can have all my requests accomidated. Cozy and cute. Def recommend when you are looking for a great cocktail. 👍

This is such a cute bar during the Holidays. I was there a few weeks ago and was delighted to find it decked out with Christmas decorations. Their holiday cocktail menu was fantastic with a variety of drinks to choose from.

This place was absolutely amazing! Came in randomly on a cold night, to be greeted by happy, smiling faces. Despite sitting by myself, the workers made me feel like family and the drinks were superb. Highly recommend!

It's all in the name: If you want a cocktail done right, head over to proper. They have drink themes throughout the year, but the best is x-mas when the whole bar is decked out. Also, Sunday is happy hour all day.
