My roommate and I saw that they had brunch when we walked by on super bowl Sunday and decided to try it out. Glad we did. The service was great the food was wonderful. I love the outside patio. I ordered the Portobello Benedict which was delicious. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection. The pesto cream was wonderful. The fresh fruit 🍓 was sweet fresh and amazing. The applewood bacon was mouth watering. The only thing I didn't like was the texture of the mushroom. Which is my problem not theirs. I'm not big on cooked mushrooms but I'd give it a world even though I've never had Portobello mushrooms. But over all it's a great place. Love the food the staff. The atmosphere. Traveled out of state to visit family. Had this place on our list for happy hour so we were happy to try this new place for all of us. Unfortunately our service was not up to par. We sat outside, there was a waitress dressed in all black who looked at our table multiple times and did not acknowledge us. But soon as a white couple sat behind us (3 black women) they were immediately taken care of. Our waitress that we did receive was polite overall but things just were not done in a timely manner and we really didn’t receive any service outside of her being polite. The service was just not up to par. We got one drink and checked out. We received the checks and was charged for flavors but was not told that they were extra. But we did get those taken off. By time we were asked if we wanted food we were fed up at this point. We watched tables around us be served expeditiously but we were not treated the same. 1 star cause my pomegranate margarita was pretty good.

It is enjoyable to support this Texas Wesleyan University Alumni run business. The fried green beans were tasty and a huge portion. The cheeseburger and the Big Tex burger were great! And the Big Tex did have a good kick of heat! The Greek salad with added chicken was excellent. Flavor of the chicken was good, it was served cold on top of the salad. The salad dressing was served on the side. I can’t wait to come back and listen to some bands while eating.

Had an amazing time. Went early on a Thursday. The patio is spacious and lovely. The food was really good. I ordered a margarita flight, and asked her to choose which ones for me. I had an original, mango, passionfruit and watermelon. All of which were soooo good. 😍😍 10/10 would recommend

They allow dogs on their patio! That, along with friendly and engaging service, convinced us to visit twice during our recent visit to Fort Worth. They have bar-and-grill style food - the selection and quality met our expectations. Service was friendly - it was hot during our visit, the staff brought water for our dogs and were happy to bring added vegetables we could share with them while we ate. They can be a little slow when they really get busy but we were there to enjoy an evening rather than get in and out, especially as the sun set and the evening started cooling down. Definitely on our list for our next visit!

In looking for a new spot to try out in south Fort Worth, my friend and I agreed to try Shaw's, and what a great choice! It's been some time, so I can't recall whether we made it on time for happy hour, but I would have ordered the watermelon margarita nonetheless. We started off with the nachos as an appetizer, and they were generous with the toppings, which was well appreciated. She and I both got the cheeseburger with fries, and I from the sight alone I knew we were in for crispy and well-made crinkle fries. The burgers themselves were great, and even with the drinks and app, the price was still comfortable for all that we got. I'm due for a return soon, for sure!

Big Tex Burger (no egg) Man… best burger I’ve had in a while. Onion rings were crispy and not over battered. Burger was excellent and the right level of spicy. Tender meat and juicy veggies.

I think I ordered poorly and we should have tried the brunch. Great deals on drinks. Is probably a great place for a happy hour and the staff was great.

Had a great post-brunch nachos and margaritas here! The deluxe nachos were just what I was craving and we were even given the brunch price on the margaritas despite arriving a few minutes too late. I’ll definitely stop in again at some point!

I’ve been here a couple of times and the food and drinks have always been great. The customer service is top notch as well! My husband and I recently went when they had the ArtsGoggle event and although it was extremely busy, we didn’t have to wait a long time for food or drinks and our server was very attentive.

Came in around 11ish and when I say that the atmosphere was perfect I mean it. Not crowded at all. Delicious food and 3 dollar mimosas! The service was great as well.. if looking for a good brunch spot do not hesitate to stop at Shaw's. No telling how many people pass this place daily not knowing it's a hidden gem.

The burgers are great, moist and the brioche buns are the perfect touch. Everyone was so kind. Our waitress brought our pooch a bowl of water before even greeting us, which I loved. Perfect spot with plenty of room on the porch for dinning with your fur babies and socialising. Their wings were tasty, cheese sticks were spicy and great. We will definitely be returning.

I’ve been coming here for about a month, and the food, drinks, and service is always on point! The Bartenders/servers are very friendly, prices are good, and everyone who stops by the place always VISIBLY has a good time. Also they do Karyoke tonight?! It’s a clean, friendly, and fun environment. Hands down my go-to in the neighborhood.

Attached you will find a photo of an $8.00 pour of Rose wine. We were seated at the bar by the hostess when she left the bartender complained that we were sitting in a service area. So we have up 1 seat to clear the service area. But the bartender made it clear she was not happy with it sitting at the bar.

Was driving down Magnolia and just so happened to see their sign about $3 brunch mimosas so we stopped by to have one and watch some college football. The Sangria and Mimosa drinks we had were pretty good. Could come back here.

Favorite neighborhood bar! Great staff! Great patio! Surprisingly great brunch with zero of the frills. Nothing but good times await you here. They have darts and a pool table!

I really liked this place. We were working close by and just drove around a little and found this quaint place. Parking is limited behind the Restaurant so mostly walk ins from street parking. Lunch seemed slow but service was very good. Most of the lunch seemed to be burgers or grilled chicken and stuff but we got burgers. The price seems a little high but the baskets come with several choices. I don't recall them all but fries and rings were there. Everyone in our party got a beef burger and onion rings. The rings were good. Not a beer batter but not breading either. It was a batter and it stood up to the test. Seemed to be made in house. The burgers, again we all agreed they were very good. Not a huge patty but it was done. No pink nor was it over done. It was also thick enough to know you had some meet on the bun. The service was good, then again not super busy but we got there early on purpose. We would go back, it was good. One of the better burgers out there people. I have better but they cost a lot more too. highly recommend.

This place is awesome! We came on Friday night for date night. They were having karaoke on the patio. It was super fun. Carl, the manager did an excellent job keeping up with all the servers and making sure guests were getting our drinks as fast as possible. We will definitely be back! The only suggestion I'd make is to get a system so that the drinks come out a little faster. I know they were super busy. But there are ways to speed up the service a bit.

I had the Deluxe Chicken salad with grilled chicken and it has almond slivers and homemade croutons that gave it a good crunch. I wanted to try the Wasabi ranch, but got their house instead since I'm trying to be healthier. Last time I tried their pesto turkey sandwich, which was also great! Love the chips, which remind me of a homemade version of ruffles. Atmosphere for lunch is fantastic! Patio stays pretty cool, even in the heat, and is well-ventilated. Worth the stop!

Wonderful staff. Very attentive and friendly. I go Tuesday nights for trivia, which is always a great time. I kind of wish they had a bigger menu, but that's a minor complaint. Food is good and at a reasonable price. If you want a good time playing trivia on Tuesday or you're in the mood for a good burger, this is the place to go.

The food and service was phenomenal. Although it was packed for brunch, service was attentive, friendly and surprisingly efficient. And definitely try the pepper sauce. It was so good that I ended up buying a bottle to take home! Can’t wait to visit again!

I always like to share my good and bad resturant experiences with others. This one was a winner. Great! Burger and staff. The meal was served very fresh with no additives and stuff. Come out and celebrate my Birthday on July 1st. Please save me a seat. Thanks.

Burgers, sandwiches and salads are the main foods. Food was pretty good. Margarita flights were definitely worth it!! Our waitress Diana was awesome sauce!!

Extremely rude staff. I wish people would realize letting a bad day at work influence there attitude toward customers just continues the negativity.

Great local stop on Magnolia. Stopped in on a whim while looking for a place to eat for lunch. We were seated immediately and the service was very quick. Drink selections were abundant and the beer was COLD. The food came out very quickly. Burgers were cooked perfect and were served hot. Server was on top of keeping drinks full. Service was awesome. I would definitely recommend this stop if you're on Magnolia.

The most friendliest, coolest place EVER. The food was good too. Do yourself a favor. Get the Fried Green Beans and Pickles.

I've been here twice. Everything I've eaten and the service has been the best! Try the Bison burger and homemade chips with green onion dip!

Just a casual little bar. Outdoor patio. I had the mango margarita which was really good, seemed like a pretty low alcohol content so a good summer drink. The bartender was friendly and attentive.

Had nothing to do but wait so ... why not grab lunch right? I choose to sit in the patio, which was basically empty besides two other tables. The patio is roomy and had lots of seating options. Unfortunately when you dine alone, people get weird... Server Greg's greeting was "What can I get you to drink?" "Hello, hi, welcome, hola" any of those would have been fine. A greeting is customer service 101. Servers: your service skills determine your TIP. He had someone trailing him, I assume he was training someone and in that case he's doing that staff member a disservice. Be present. GREET YOUR CUSTOMERS. I ordered a classic cheese burger extra onions and pickles and it was served quickly and was delicious. I subbed onion rings instead of fries and they were nice and crispy.

First time here and I am certain that I will return. I really liked the atmosphere. The food was good and so was the service. The prices were fair. I expect I will be back on Tuesday for the trivia night. I would recommend this place without any hesitation.
