We're so happy to have found an authentic German restaurant with vegetarian options. We tried a delicious käsespätzle in a huge portion and took the fresh strudel to go.

I had such an amazing experience. I came pretty late with my family, I was celebrating my birthday. They still accepted us even though I could see they were already starting to clean everything. The food was so delicious and you could taste the love that was put into making the food. our waitress Ariana was beyond amazing so friendly and helpful even made me a birthday cake which of course was delicious she was the best. I want to thank the staff for being so welcoming definitely coming back again.

We wanted German food and usually go to Everything German but it was late and they have music on the weekends so we decided not to go there. Wish I had now, the food here is not near as good for the price. 2 people ate and it was $44.00 including two drinks. It is quiet and a little dark inside. But atmosphere was nice and waitress was great. If I go back I will order something other than what I did, pork was tough and over cooked.

This charming place is family owned by a couple who are passionate about good food and sharing their friendship and German culture to their customers. My husband and I enjoy this place when we like to celebrate important events. The price is well worth it but we understand most of the time we're on too tight of a budget to eat there. We wait in anticipation and excitement between visits to savor their authentic German sausage, beer, sauerkraut and homemade bread.

This place is so good. Remember, you are there for the food, not to be entertained with all kinds of crazy stuff. Each week night (except Monday because they are closed) they have different specials. ALL are good. Each night we have gone, I wanted to ask for another because it was so good. It would be super easy to gain weight eating here because it is so delicious. I actually did one night, but ate it the next day because I was so full. It was, of course, amazing. The couple that run the place are super nice. HE makes everything from scratch and is a certified German "Cake Master" (his certificate hangs on the wall as you walk in but is all in German). Every desert I have ordered from there has also been so good. The chocolate cake is made with a liquor so beware if you are not a fan. I think the food is so much better than any other German food I've had in Fort Worth. Go. you'll love it. I have never been disappointed.

This is an amazing authentic German restaurant that has not been watered down by being located in Texas. My split pea soup reminded me of my youth when my mom would make it for me. Tuesday was Schnitzel nite and did not disappoint. The homemade bread is to die for! The wait staff were very attentive and helped us decide what to eat. This restaurant is a must! We can't wait to go back.

Great mom and pop place serving Excellent German food. The Jager Schnitzel was awesome! Red Cabbage was top notch. Save room for the apple streudel. It is delicious!!!

After reading all the good reviews I was pretty surprised at how average-poor the food was. When we got the bill my kid said, “that was the worst expensive food ever.” Pretty much sums it up. I had the roast (decent) and home style noodles (aka mush) and cabbage (pretty good). My kid had the schnitzel pork (hardly edible) and fried potatoes (really good- best part of the meal) and a salad. The waitress was fine, but she was alone in the place and the food took way too long (somewhere in the 20-25 minute range) considering there were only three tables when we got there. Also, we were in the booths on the left, and I totally saw a bare-handed cook touch his mouth. I felt like 2 stars was too harsh but it was close. Maybe I went on a bad day or something, but I won’t be going back to find out. Good luck.

We enjoy to go out. Yesterday we found this fine restaurant which friends told us about. We enjoyed a beautiful time there with delicious dishes and a nice team and an impressive cook. We added this fine restaurant in our list and we will no doubt come back very soon. We deeply recommend.

We went there on a Friday night based on some of the better reviews. Very disappointed in the quality of the food. We had Schnitzel, red cabbage and spätzle. The schnitzel tasted like prebreaded frozen cheap thin pork. The mushroom sauce tasted like from a can and the Spätzle was overcooked and a bad version of what you get in Germany. I was under the impression that the cook was German, perhaps that was a long time ago. This place should close, I will make the drive to. Plano to the Bavarian Grill...
