Absolutely lovely, staff are super friendly and informative. They also recommended i visit Fort Worth Stockyard - which i did and ended up lovin’ it.

Highly interesting museum about cowgirls and their rodeo performances. Lots of outfits and memorable stories, videos, posters, live narratives. You can ride a mockup horse and design your own riding equipment.

Great museum. You get some of the real history of the women of the West, including native Americans. The clothes they wore, the horses they rode and the saddles they sat on. They have several really cool holographic movies of cowgirls talking about their daily life. Very friendly staff. There is a gift shop.

Visited on my own while I was here for my daughter's gymnastics meet. Was greeted by a lovely woman who shared with me the highlights of what the museum had to offer. Thoroughly enjoyed the rich history that the museum had on display! I especially loved the section around Annie Oakley and also really enjoyed seeing the different costumes throughout the different periods. There were also a couple of interactive photo sections where you can put yourself in the photo and text it or email it to yourself. That was a great memento! Once I finished my tour I spent some time in the small but packed to the brim gift shop... seriously look in every nook and cranny because there are so many amazing finds here! As an added bonus, because I spent more than $20 in the gift shop, my parking was free! Overall a great experience and I really enjoyed it. Would highly recommend spending a couple of hours going through this very interesting museum!

Such a cool experience. So many cool items to see and a wonderful place to visit for anyone who's interested in western fashion, horses, or just the art of the cowgirl in general. Absolute WONDERFUL staff.

My favorite museum in Fort Worth!! Interactive bronc riding sends you the video (FREE)! Design your own cowboys boots, horse or shirt. Images on the walls give many photo opportunities. The displays tell stories about cowgirls.

I don't think I would pay extra for just this. The photo booth was fun. The design your own horse and boot was fun too. Came here after visiting the Fort Worth Museum of Science next door. The ladies at the front were super nice. They forced us to wear masks though, which is outdated.

Well thought out and classy. Features notable Western woman from around the country. If you have a membership at another museum in the NARM group you can get in free. We used our membership from the Nicolaysen Art Museum in Casper.

Awesome Museum and experience! Great exhibits with different interaction levels to break up the experience. It is a smaller museum, but very worthwhile and would comeback any time I'm in the area. Great history on famous cowgirls and the development of the profession and it's use in giving women a source of employment in the early 1900`s.

Visited on International Women's Day, thought it would be a great day and honor. Almost didn't get a chance to visit the museum because of a cleaning product used was strong smelling. The worker at the front was asking my daughters and I to return the next day. Although a lady and her mother coming out expressed how they enjoyed the museum. So then I'm standing there with my children wondering why were they allowed in at their own risk but we are not about to be allowed in. Then to be asked to pay for parking again the next day. I explained to the associate we made a special trip out to the museum on our Spring Break. We are not out on break the following week in Plano/Allen and had plans for the next day. Luckily, another associate over heard the conversation taking place and allowed us to come in. Overall, we enjoyed the museum. My children enjoyed riding the bucking horse upstairs. The experience would've earned 4-5 stars but due to the conflict of getting in 3 stars. #CowgirlMusuem #ItsNeverJustaHorse

Cool interactive exhibits. Fascinating history and lots of artwork. Not a huge building so you can probably see everything in about 2 hours if you're reading the tidbits. The staff is great and Museum is clean and attractive.

What a cool place to see so much history. The upstairs exhibits are truly unique and this place tells stories dating back hundreds of years.

The Annie Oakley exhibit is good, but it's expensive for a museum that you can see in far less than an hour. Plus you have to pay for parking.

Definitely a short note to miss if you are in Fort Worth. Very interesting museum about the cowgirls. You pay half of a ticket price if you have previously visited the other museum near by and show the paper bracelet they gave to you

Great museum for kids and adults alike. There is a perfect amount to see and do there in just a couple of hours. It is beautifully curated and there's much to learn about women in ranching, rodeoing and the west. They have a great gift shop and the entire museum staff is so pleasant and incredibly helpful.

This is an often overlooked little gem, especially for the girls. Lots of flashy, studded outfits line the exhibits surrounding a beautiful atrium, and historical niches tell about women of the West, such as Annie Oakley. Several activities for the kids are distributed throughout, including my personal favorite, the "live wall" for visiting horses (fun for toddlers to grandparents). If you can swing by when it's not busy, the two ladies overseeing thing are VERY attentive and interactive with the children. They backfill with rich history and information about horses!

Beautiful facility showcasing Americana. It was a great time to review the well curated displays in a well lit and maintained museum.

Beautiful place fun for all family. Loved the 1883 display. Very interesting facts about early cowgirls. My daughter loved this place.

This is a very very cute meusum . We attended the Halloween night function . The function was outside and sort of small. If they want to get more business they need to make larger attractive functions . Not only that but they need to market more maybe get on social media and get kiddos more interested .
